  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

Hello @O2 your network coverage across the UK is awful: there’s about one street in Manchester where I get a useable 4G signal and nowhere else. Definitely isn’t my device as I’ve just been abroad and the signal worked perfectly. What are my options please?

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Also sorry - but what’s the point in telling me to use a network checker if you don’t accept the results of the checker? That’s literally your app I’m using and it’s giving me terrible results.

  • dobirmiah ᴅᴏʙɪʀ ᴍɪᴀʜ 🐝 دوبر محمد مياه (@dobirmiah) reported from Rochdale, England

@O2 I’ve not had access to the network all day, what’s going on? It would have been good to be notified of issues. Really not happy 😠 I’m due for an upgrade, might have to@consider switching to another network

  • 6danicalifornia Dani Tomlinson 🎶 (@6danicalifornia) reported from Horwich, England

I really wish @O2 can sort out the issues in Horwich. Trying to contact your insurance and police etc after a break in is extremely frustrating when there's no bloody signal 😡😡

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Well I said I am having problems with my 4g, you told me to follow the guide which told me to use the network checker, I showed you the results of the network checker and you said 4G isn’t about speeds. So what’s the point in telling me to use the network checker?

  • psychomania666 PsychoMania (@psychomania666) reported from Burnley, England

@O2 Signal is just garbage in Burnley centre, has been for years on many different devices. 5G is needed ASAP.

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Hey - I have checked the guide. It’s not my device as it worked 100% better on a recent trip to France. It’s not the environment as this is something I experience everywhere (in Leicester, in Manchester, on trains, at festivals) - but your signal checker says I have good 4G.

  • JMcKnighty ~Jack 🐝 (@JMcKnighty) reported from Manchester, England

Really unimpressed with @O2 Contact Centre customer service. Working in customer service myself, I know changing a direct debit date shouldn't take 30 minutes with 2 agents, a dropped call, being called back, and then being told I need to call again tomorrow This should be 2 mins

  • violetibeh Violet (@violetibeh) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 please can I understand my refund for an order has not been done? I spoke to a customer representative after a week now and been told that it’s not on your system so I can’t get a refund? So why was a deduction made from my account and why was a receipt issued afterwards?

  • Baynesi83 bay (@Baynesi83) reported from Mellor, England

@NadineDorries @virginmedia @O2 Here she is again that glam Nan spouting bollocks that is instantly shot down by ordinary people who seem to actually know facts. She really needs to shut up or just read factual information instead of coming across as an incompetent muppet.

  • AdnyNichols Andy Nichols (@AdnyNichols) reported from Horwich, England

  • kjgreigy Karen Greig (@kjgreigy) reported from Oldham, England

@O2 hi i live in the postcode area OL9 , for the last 3/4 months the signal has been horrendous!! Lucky if I get 1 bar of 4G and once I can make a call I’m lucky if it doesn’t disconnect or if I move it cuts off… not great when paying a fair bit for a contract! #help

  • kea11y Keally (@kea11y) reported from Bolton, England

@O2 how can you sell a phone, take the money then tell the customer its not in stock and not tell them when it will be? Absolute disgrace of a company. Trying to get in touch with customer service is a joke.

  • inkedgirl69 Clem (@inkedgirl69) reported

Due an upgrade in March, what's the best network to go with? O2 have gone down hill, I'm missing phone calls, messages are taking forever to send & no matter how many times you report it to them, it doesn't get fixed @O2

  • caitshambrook cait (@caitshambrook) reported

  • Rebecca_Barden Rebecca Barden (@Rebecca_Barden) reported

@O2 shocking customer service - called to cancel O2 insurance, multiple steps to speak to an operator, informed that only the insurers could cancel my insurance, told by the insurers (very rudely) that only O2 could cancel my insurance, repeat step one.

  • c7pia c7 (@c7pia) reported

@O2 Hi, no I didn’t, but thought it odd nonetheless as it’s happened a couple of times and am not an O2 customer

  • paulhayward200 Paul (@paulhayward200) reported

@O2 How do you get a letter of deadlock out of o2 ? I have spoken with the help line and they are hopeless ?

  • MatthewOToole2 Matthew O'Toole (@MatthewOToole2) reported

@naomhgallagher @virginmedia @O2 Virgin Media are awful at moves

  • naomhgallagher Dr. Naomh Gallagher (@naomhgallagher) reported

..no compensation for 3x engineer no-shows, and now @O2 are sending us threatening letters due to an unpaid bill for a service which we NEVER EVEN STARTED. Icing on the cake - @virginmedia don’t want to know & @O2 won’t speak to us as the address doesn’t match ARRGGGHHHH!!

  • naomhgallagher Dr. Naomh Gallagher (@naomhgallagher) reported

For context the @O2 service was part of the @virginmedia package, yet Virgin are washing their hands of this even though their promised service never materialised. Such a joke and no idea where to go now as @O2 refuse to speak to us. Any advice on next steps appreciated!

  • AgentSchmith Agent Smith (@AgentSchmith) reported

@AntrimLens @Au_Erithacus @O2 If its any consolation, it happens with any names with accents, not just fadas. It's to do with screening out special characters to prevent SQL injection attacks & the like, however if they actually sanatised their database inputs correctly, it would be a non-problem. Lazy design

  • StabberCrab StabberCrab (@StabberCrab) reported

@O2 anychance your going to get the 4444 top up service running. My mums going to loose her package at midnight and we can get it back again. O2 is turning into a joke recently
