Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Rossendale District and nearby locations:

  • DaveWrigh Dave Wright (@DaveWrigh) reported from Manchester, England

@BruceDevlin @grantmathieson @O2 I work in the industry (not for O2 though, although I have had internal dealings with them) and that does seem like a very odd course of action to recommend. DM me with your issue if you want and I’ll see if I can point you in the right direction?

  • grantmathieson Grant Griffiths-Mathieson (@grantmathieson) reported from Manchester, England

@BruceDevlin @O2 Has she maybe assumed data protection issue

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Also sorry - but what’s the point in telling me to use a network checker if you don’t accept the results of the checker? That’s literally your app I’m using and it’s giving me terrible results.

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Hey - I have checked the guide. It’s not my device as it worked 100% better on a recent trip to France. It’s not the environment as this is something I experience everywhere (in Leicester, in Manchester, on trains, at festivals) - but your signal checker says I have good 4G.

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

Hello @O2 your network coverage across the UK is awful: there’s about one street in Manchester where I get a useable 4G signal and nowhere else. Definitely isn’t my devise as I’ve just been aboard and the signal worked perfectly. What are my options please?

  • StevenB93941279 Steven Burns (@StevenB93941279) reported from Ramsbottom, England

Is it just me or is @O2 signal getting worse and worse.

  • familyhomecook FAMILY HOME COOK (@familyhomecook) reported from Rochdale, England

@O2 My data is not working. Unless I’m connected to Wi-Fi I cannot do any browsing. Is there an issue?

  • CurryInTurry DJ Nerja 🇺🇦 (@CurryInTurry) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 @purpledolphins7 They didn't help me. They didn't apply the increase in speed. In fact they said I could have 1gig for £30 extraper month. False advertising and liars!

  • SimpaticoGem Gemma ≅ (@SimpaticoGem) reported from Walkden, England

Tell me why with my @virginmedia wifi and my @O2 phone contract, MY WIFI CUTS OUT CONSTANTLY AND I HAVE NO SIGNAL ANYWHERE I GO?! Thought being a customer of you both was supposed to reap massive benefits for me?

  • tuite_liz Liz Tuite (@tuite_liz) reported from Atherton, England

@O2 I messaged earlier and you managed to help me with my query, I’ve since sent another DM but have not received any reply. I messaged as my husband lost his phone so you blocked it for me. It has now been returned by the taxi driver so he requires the phone unlocking please

  • dobirmiah ᴅᴏʙɪʀ ᴍɪᴀʜ 🐝 دوبر محمد مياه (@dobirmiah) reported from Rochdale, England

@O2 I’ve not had access to the network all day, what’s going on? It would have been good to be notified of issues. Really not happy 😠 I’m due for an upgrade, might have to@consider switching to another network

  • Dr_Bass Doctor Bass (@Dr_Bass) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Hi, my 4G signal over the last few months has been dreadful. I’m currently sitting with 3 bars of 4G and waiting about 10-20 seconds for a picture to download. I thought it was just me but seen plenty others complaining.

  • chrisrogan Chris Rogan (@chrisrogan) reported from Manchester, England

Pee'd off at @GreggsOfficial and @O2 three weeks in a row with priority debacle. One week over charged, last week paid for my own this week walked out. Staff not trained in the offer and Greggs not responding to customer service emails. More Greggs issue than o2.

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Well I said I am having problems with my 4g, you told me to follow the guide which told me to use the network checker, I showed you the results of the network checker and you said 4G isn’t about speeds. So what’s the point in telling me to use the network checker?

  • OliverBanks Oliver Banks 🇺🇦 (@OliverBanks) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 hi, how do I cancel a contract within the 14 day cooling off period please?

  • elgobsucram Marcus 🇬🇧✊🏾 (@elgobsucram) reported from Manchester, England

Always good finding 3 unknown direct debits to @O2 2 months *after* reporting fraud, especially after they refused to refund the charges to gambling websites I’d never even heard of

  • JMcKnighty ~Jack 🐝 (@JMcKnighty) reported from Manchester, England

Really unimpressed with @O2 Contact Centre customer service. Working in customer service myself, I know changing a direct debit date shouldn't take 30 minutes with 2 agents, a dropped call, being called back, and then being told I need to call again tomorrow This should be 2 mins

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • JudgeDewie Alex (@JudgeDewie) reported

@o2 my contract ends with you this month but out of interest is there any vague hope of the B76 postcode having any signal at all in the near future after 2 months being in a dead zone?

  • i_watchman I.M. Watchman (@i_watchman) reported

@RevRichardColes @O2 Throw all logic out of the window, then explain how to do customer service & you may get a result.

  • k80con Kate Conway (@k80con) reported

@O2 tying to use code for Joe Wicks 60 days offer but can’t see where to apply it. I did go into the app yesterday and cancelled which might be the problem!

  • run_lift_run 🤍 𝙹𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚎 🤍 (@run_lift_run) reported

@O2 Still issues with the network, it’s been over a week now and unable to make or receive calls. Have done a sim swap too. What is the problem and why is it taking so long?

  • libertyloo1 Liberty Amos (@libertyloo1) reported

@O2 how do I talk to somebody that knows what they are talking about ? Customer service is shocking

  • TeslaReferralU1 TeslaReferralUK (@TeslaReferralU1) reported

Warning to any potential @O2 customers looking to sign up on the basis of their coverage map indicating good signal where you live. If it turns out that you don’t get a good signal after all, O2 response is pretty much “tough”. Drop-out in most calls. :-(

  • DonMcintyre70 Don McIntyre (90) 💉💉 🤘🏻 (@DonMcintyre70) reported

@RevRichardColes @O2 The standard IT / Help Desk response: "Have you tried switching it off, counting to 10 and switching it on again? “

  • JasonK47230171 JasonK (@JasonK47230171) reported

@libertyglobal @VirginMediaCorp @O2 Sort out your own services and try and learn from o2s customer service. You won’t though

  • iainmhepburn Iain Hepburn (@iainmhepburn) reported

@O2 It’s the automated ‘your NI has been suspended by the crime agency’ ones. Every single time for days now. Every time I block one, it’s a different number the next time. Uncanny how it’s happened as soon as I moved to your network.
