  • bodsy0 Mike Bowden (@bodsy0) reported from Stockport, England

@o2 you really need to change your 'on-hold' music #terrible 😎

  • chrisrogan Chris Rogan (@chrisrogan) reported from Manchester, England

Pee'd off at @GreggsOfficial and @O2 three weeks in a row with priority debacle. One week over charged, last week paid for my own this week walked out. Staff not trained in the offer and Greggs not responding to customer service emails. More Greggs issue than o2.

  • J0eH0lmes Joe Holmes (@J0eH0lmes) reported from Stockport, England

@joe_fush @O2 I've been trying to log into my @O2 account and you keep sending me text messages with codes on to log me in, but with absolutely zero signal I can not receive the codes to access my account 🥴

  • eagleeyedferret Adrian Simcox (@eagleeyedferret) reported from Urmston, England

@O2 3/3 only conclusion I could reach is that your call centre staff are under pressure to make more calls and now routinely disconnect customer calls after a period of making no progress. What do you think??

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Also sorry - but what’s the point in telling me to use a network checker if you don’t accept the results of the checker? That’s literally your app I’m using and it’s giving me terrible results.

  • J0eH0lmes Joe Holmes (@J0eH0lmes) reported from Salford, England

@O2 my phone is saying no sim so I have zero signal or data to call or text you. Any chance of getting someone to give me a ring to sort out a new sim card?

  • eagleeyedferret Adrian Simcox (@eagleeyedferret) reported from Urmston, England

@O2 2/2 both occasions the call centres were noisy. Call centre operative didn’t speak very god English. Both operatives complaining their systems were slow or not working at all and putting me on hold for long periods.

  • Dr_Bass Doctor Bass (@Dr_Bass) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Hi, my 4G signal over the last few months has been dreadful. I’m currently sitting with 3 bars of 4G and waiting about 10-20 seconds for a picture to download. I thought it was just me but seen plenty others complaining.

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Hey - I have checked the guide. It’s not my device as it worked 100% better on a recent trip to France. It’s not the environment as this is something I experience everywhere (in Leicester, in Manchester, on trains, at festivals) - but your signal checker says I have good 4G.

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

Hello @O2 your network coverage across the UK is awful: there’s about one street in Manchester where I get a useable 4G signal and nowhere else. Definitely isn’t my devise as I’ve just been aboard and the signal worked perfectly. What are my options please?

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Well I said I am having problems with my 4g, you told me to follow the guide which told me to use the network checker, I showed you the results of the network checker and you said 4G isn’t about speeds. So what’s the point in telling me to use the network checker?

  • CurryInTurry DJ Nerja 🇺🇦 (@CurryInTurry) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 @purpledolphins7 They didn't help me. They didn't apply the increase in speed. In fact they said I could have 1gig for £30 extraper month. False advertising and liars!

  • clare_jeffs Clare (@clare_jeffs) reported from Stockport, England

They told her they are affiliated with @O2 and apparently do not offer cooling off periods. How can they miss-sell to a vulnerable lady with a brain injury and not cancel it. @plandotcom DISGUSTING.

  • DaveWrigh Dave Wright (@DaveWrigh) reported from Manchester, England

@BruceDevlin @grantmathieson @O2 I work in the industry (not for O2 though, although I have had internal dealings with them) and that does seem like a very odd course of action to recommend. DM me with your issue if you want and I’ll see if I can point you in the right direction?

  • grantmathieson Grant Griffiths-Mathieson (@grantmathieson) reported from Manchester, England

@BruceDevlin @O2 Has she maybe assumed data protection issue

  • OliverBanks Oliver Banks 🇺🇦 (@OliverBanks) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 hi, how do I cancel a contract within the 14 day cooling off period please?

  • dobirmiah ᴅᴏʙɪʀ ᴍɪᴀʜ 🐝 دوبر محمد مياه (@dobirmiah) reported from Rochdale, England

@O2 I’ve not had access to the network all day, what’s going on? It would have been good to be notified of issues. Really not happy 😠 I’m due for an upgrade, might have to@consider switching to another network

@O2 Yes the original problem is still not resolved. Can you DM me please to sort it out as I’m not wasting any more time with your shocking overseas call centres. Have you not realised by now they are a false economy?

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • spinney70 andrew spindler (@spinney70) reported

@O2 Turned device off and on again got a slightly better signal but still just 3G. Working in a town where signal 4G is usually very good

  • AngMurphy8 Ang Murphy (@AngMurphy8) reported

@colinrtalbot @O2 Was on the phone with Tesco Mobile over issues with an O2 mast yesterday. Still don't understand how when 2 phones are lying next to each other whilst on charge, 1 can be pinged by a mast in a different, non-EU country. Thankfully, they've waived the £50 charge this incurred.

  • chadissacclark Chad (@chadissacclark) reported

@AdrianCoxMusic @ThreeUK Best bet is to live chat them Adrian, I always had the same issue with Three when I was in the USA, eventually moved over to @O2 and had no issues thankfully

  • sherlockbones27 marisa (@sherlockbones27) reported

@LaurenJThomas93 @rickygervais @O2 No way. There has to be an issue. Or they only had two pre-sale tickets!!

  • Walayat_Family Dr Serac Engerraund (@Walayat_Family) reported

@O2 "Sorry, a phone mast close to you isn't working. A traffic incident has damaged our equipment. Our engineers are on the case but your service might come and go until we fix it, sorry. We’ll update you by Tuesday 1st November 2022"

  • callme_jc jc (@callme_jc) reported

@O2 I’m in the same boat. “Problem with my request” when hitting “use now” on the Priority cinema ticket offer, now claiming “out of stock” after less than five minutes. Not a good look for a recently expanded promotion.

  • Loken_Moon Mr Moon (@Loken_Moon) reported

@O2 Nope.. that does not work. Ive done that years ago. Its part of your standard 'fob off customer with fake fixes" campeign. I had an engineer from O2 call me this morning. Im putting you on notice. I will fix the signal in my town. I wont stop until its fixed.

  • Argyll68 Seánybhoy 😷 (@Argyll68) reported

Moved from @VodafoneUK to @O2 in April. Worst move ever. Dropped calls every day and texts not being sent. Then after months of phonecalls they inform me they've had problems with my local signal mast! Back with Vodafone. I should have never moved.

  • AdrianCoxMusic Adrian Cox (@AdrianCoxMusic) reported

@chadissacclark @ThreeUK @O2 Yeah nightmare, there whole system down, and payment system down too ha ha ! They gave me over £200 of free credit though which is decent of them but maybe time to hit O2

  • garyetchells 𝕵𝖔𝖗𝖉𝖞 (@garyetchells) reported

@EE is it possible to have a PAYG e-sim in an iPhone 12 Pro Max? I’m having issues with @O2 where I don’t get any data signal - even in city centres where they claim 5G is possible - lucky I’m only in contract for another 5 months #ee #mobileswitch #network
