@O2 @virginmedia @Curlykidlife Hi Virgin Media. Have just moved my sim over to O2 and as an existing VM customer applied for my free Volt upgrade. O2 have doubled my mobile data and you have upgraded my broadband. However you have now almost doubled my monthly payment. VM customer service cannot help ?!

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

Hello @O2 your network coverage across the UK is awful: there’s about one street in Manchester where I get a useable 4G signal and nowhere else. Definitely isn’t my device as I’ve just been abroad and the signal worked perfectly. What are my options please?

  • 6danicalifornia Dani Tomlinson 🎶 (@6danicalifornia) reported from Horwich, England

I really wish @O2 can sort out the issues in Horwich. Trying to contact your insurance and police etc after a break in is extremely frustrating when there's no bloody signal 😡😡

  • franlatics27 Fran Edwards (@franlatics27) reported from Garswood, England

@O2 can you refund me my monthly payment as all the masts in wigan are down and have been for weeks....thanks

  • dobirmiah ᴅᴏʙɪʀ ᴍɪᴀʜ 🐝 دوبر محمد مياه (@dobirmiah) reported from Rochdale, England

@O2 I’ve not had access to the network all day, what’s going on? It would have been good to be notified of issues. Really not happy 😠 I’m due for an upgrade, might have to@consider switching to another network

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Hey - I have checked the guide. It’s not my device as it worked 100% better on a recent trip to France. It’s not the environment as this is something I experience everywhere (in Leicester, in Manchester, on trains, at festivals) - but your signal checker says I have good 4G.

  • SteveVanDang Steve (@SteveVanDang) reported from Stockport, England

Welp @O2 support was great tellin me no better deals, tho new customers get massively better deals & the signal in my area should be good 🤷. #Pac requested, got a @VOXI_UK Sim for half the price, better signal, more perks. 16 years brand loyalty with o2, was worth squat to o2.cya

  • sonnisamosa Sonia (@sonnisamosa) reported from Urmston, England

@O2 Yes it says 4G, I have no idea what’s going on. Is there an issue certain areas possibly?

  • JMcKnighty ~Jack 🐝 (@JMcKnighty) reported from Manchester, England

Really unimpressed with @O2 Contact Centre customer service. Working in customer service myself, I know changing a direct debit date shouldn't take 30 minutes with 2 agents, a dropped call, being called back, and then being told I need to call again tomorrow This should be 2 mins

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Also sorry - but what’s the point in telling me to use a network checker if you don’t accept the results of the checker? That’s literally your app I’m using and it’s giving me terrible results.

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Well I said I am having problems with my 4g, you told me to follow the guide which told me to use the network checker, I showed you the results of the network checker and you said 4G isn’t about speeds. So what’s the point in telling me to use the network checker?

  • Extinguisherman Dale Watts (@Extinguisherman) reported

@ElliotSkirrow @O2 I find it quite appalling they give out this information rather than fix their shoddy network, after all we are paying for this so called service! We need to get this issue known, Maybe Retweet complaint using BBCWatchdog, ofcom, Martin Lewis and whichuk tags.

  • tjslone83 Thomas Slone (@tjslone83) reported

@_tiish @O2 Same here! Ordered a new SIM as a new customer on Saturday and cannot track the Royal Mail delivery using the 16 digit code O2 have shared. O2 start your bill though even before the SIM is delivered… shocking. Why can’t they use a courier like other networks?

  • Lisaw25650181 Footie&_Fifa_Fan (@Lisaw25650181) reported

@O2 I am deeply disappointed in your customer service, I’ve been waiting 10 days for my number to be switched over. I’ve spoken with 4 different operators and the issue still isn’t resolved. Why are your customer service assistants not doing their job? Would like some answers!!!

  • Extinguisherman Dale Watts (@Extinguisherman) reported

@ludast22 @O2 We need to get this issue known, o2 customer service is awlful. Maybe Retweet complaint using BBCWatchdog, ofcom, Martin Lewis and whichuk tags.

  • gembot90 G McG (@gembot90) reported

@O2 hola! Trying to help elderly mum extend the ring tone time on her Samsung A51 as 15secs isn’t enough for someone slowing with age. Can you confirm the MMI code for this as the various ones I’ve tried all failed as invalid MMI code. Odd can’t just do it in settings really

  • GaryEddy15 Gary Eddy (@GaryEddy15) reported

@O2 I just wanted to update that whilst the issue isn’t fixed - your customer services team were superb. Left me filled with confidence that they cared. Thank you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  • SweetnSour38 Helen (@SweetnSour38) reported

@O2 Upgraded on Saturday and did Sim Swap...sim has STILL not activated...it is now Wednesday. All I keep being told is you have migration problems for anyone joining or who upgraded from the 26th. Shocking. I appreciate things happen but to STILL not of sorted it.

  • sunriseblade Jings, crivvens... (@sunriseblade) reported

@O2 Thanks, Aside from the terrible line, they sent a text and it shows up as originating from O2 - it would be easy to be fooled into thinking they're not scammers..

  • eliseisatwat elli- (@eliseisatwat) reported

@O2 hi is there a live chat feature from O2. Trying to change my contract over to O2 but need qs answered first so this isn’t reassuring I can’t find proper help.

  • TOrynski Tomasz Oryński (@TOrynski) reported

@Murrman2020 But I already had someone claiming to be from @O2 calling me trying to sell me some of their service. They read twitter obviously. But why they still have my number, I haven't had a phone with them since 2008 or so?
