  • J0eH0lmes Joe Holmes (@J0eH0lmes) reported from Stockport, England

@joe_fush @O2 I've been trying to log into my @O2 account and you keep sending me text messages with codes on to log me in, but with absolutely zero signal I can not receive the codes to access my account 🥴

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Well I said I am having problems with my 4g, you told me to follow the guide which told me to use the network checker, I showed you the results of the network checker and you said 4G isn’t about speeds. So what’s the point in telling me to use the network checker?

  • itspaulactually Paul (@itspaulactually) reported from St Helens, England

Nah, @o2, you’re *************** now. If I’m in a crowd of more than 10, I get no signal. Tear up my contract now. @ee, you game?

  • bodsy0 Mike Bowden (@bodsy0) reported from Stockport, England

@o2 you really need to change your 'on-hold' music #terrible 😎

  • DaveWrigh Dave Wright (@DaveWrigh) reported from Manchester, England

@BruceDevlin @grantmathieson @O2 I work in the industry (not for O2 though, although I have had internal dealings with them) and that does seem like a very odd course of action to recommend. DM me with your issue if you want and I’ll see if I can point you in the right direction?

  • J0eH0lmes Joe Holmes (@J0eH0lmes) reported from Salford, England

@O2 my phone is saying no sim so I have zero signal or data to call or text you. Any chance of getting someone to give me a ring to sort out a new sim card?

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Hey - I have checked the guide. It’s not my device as it worked 100% better on a recent trip to France. It’s not the environment as this is something I experience everywhere (in Leicester, in Manchester, on trains, at festivals) - but your signal checker says I have good 4G.

  • eagleeyedferret Adrian Simcox (@eagleeyedferret) reported from Urmston, England

@O2 2/2 both occasions the call centres were noisy. Call centre operative didn’t speak very god English. Both operatives complaining their systems were slow or not working at all and putting me on hold for long periods.

  • grantmathieson Grant Griffiths-Mathieson (@grantmathieson) reported from Manchester, England

@BruceDevlin @O2 Has she maybe assumed data protection issue

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

Hello @O2 your network coverage across the UK is awful: there’s about one street in Manchester where I get a useable 4G signal and nowhere else. Definitely isn’t my devise as I’ve just been abroad and the signal worked perfectly. What are my options please?

  • Dr_Bass Doctor Bass (@Dr_Bass) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Hi, my 4G signal over the last few months has been dreadful. I’m currently sitting with 3 bars of 4G and waiting about 10-20 seconds for a picture to download. I thought it was just me but seen plenty others complaining.

  • CurryInTurry DJ Nerja 🇺🇦 (@CurryInTurry) reported from Stockport, England

@AndyOxon @O2 @virginmedia I've been waiting five months. Complaint gone external now!

  • CurryInTurry DJ Nerja 🇺🇦 (@CurryInTurry) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 @purpledolphins7 They didn't help me. They didn't apply the increase in speed. In fact they said I could have 1gig for £30 extraper month. False advertising and liars!

  • clare_jeffs Clare (@clare_jeffs) reported from Stockport, England

They told her they are affiliated with @O2 and apparently do not offer cooling off periods. How can they miss-sell to a vulnerable lady with a brain injury and not cancel it. @plandotcom DISGUSTING.

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

  • chrisrogan Chris Rogan (@chrisrogan) reported from Manchester, England

Pee'd off at @GreggsOfficial and @O2 three weeks in a row with priority debacle. One week over charged, last week paid for my own this week walked out. Staff not trained in the offer and Greggs not responding to customer service emails. More Greggs issue than o2.

  • OliverBanks Oliver Banks 🇺🇦 (@OliverBanks) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 hi, how do I cancel a contract within the 14 day cooling off period please?

  • SawdayJames James Sawday (@SawdayJames) reported from Manchester, England

@O2 Also sorry - but what’s the point in telling me to use a network checker if you don’t accept the results of the checker? That’s literally your app I’m using and it’s giving me terrible results.

  • springviewer John Edgar (@springviewer) reported from Wigan, England

@shafterjay @O2 Now we're paying good money for no service

O2 Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Aaron_AZ_Wilson Aaron Wilson (@Aaron_AZ_Wilson) reported

@O2 I've already been through all this with customer services. Trying the sim in another phone didn't change anything. They told me the reason I was experiencing issues was that I was near the coast which sounds implausible to say the least as no one else I know has the same issues.

  • whomrmagoo Cullam Magee (@whomrmagoo) reported

@O2 yesterday and just now I have spent an hour on hold to cancel down my account. Both times I’ve spoke to someone I’ve been placed on hold again and disconnected! No one rings back and again I have to spend another 30 minutes just to speak to someone again!

  • Karl_Downey Karl (@Karl_Downey) reported from Milton Keynes, England

Is @O2 Network down? Had no mobile data signal most of the day.

  • MarkDru40436329 Mark Drury (@MarkDru40436329) reported

@O2 @LoveIsland ...and today my wife lost call and SMS functionality, putting her at risk tomorrow as she works with vulnerable people on potentially dangerous settings - and won't have a working phone. And @O2 are too incompetent to fix it

  • clairehawke Claire Hawke 〓〓 (@clairehawke) reported

@O2 The whole of Newquay is a tourist attraction but thousands of us still live and work here. It used to get markedly worse in the summer but now it’s just bad all the time, even in winter. It naturally switches to 3G most of the time anyway.

  • MarkDru40436329 Mark Drury (@MarkDru40436329) reported

@O2 Me: My number's ported over but I can't access data O2: OK, we've fixed that. Please wait 24 hrs. Me: I still can't access data O2: OK, we've fixed that. Please wait 24 hrs. Me: Nope still not working O2: Ah, yep we've got it now. Please wait 24 hrs. (spoiler alert... not fixed)

  • BigReg64 Trevor Parr (@BigReg64) reported

@O2 Just had a month touring Europe on my motorcycle - absolutely nailed my roaming, great service 👍

  • MissTendah Just T...... (@MissTendah) reported

Dealing with @O2 is a nightmare. You are constantly calling for the same issues. Week in and week out it’s actually frustrating.🤬😤

  • ChrisPAyre Chris Ayre (@ChrisPAyre) reported

@O2 Thanks, yes, I can see there is a mast issue...hopefully it's been worked on and fixed soon 👍

  • aimeemaciver3x Aimee Maciver (@aimeemaciver3x) reported

Can I ask why my signal with @O2 is shocking on a regular basis, I move from my living room to my kitchen and my calls fail constantly. Always living on 2 bars of signal. What am I paying for?!
