@O2 so… appalling service, no signal abroad, no signal at home… thought I might try to refresh my phone but it turns out that I can’t because last year there was a delay in getting my phone to me so my usual refresh date in October has been pushed back til November!

  • A11RNX
Amran Ashraf (@A11RNX) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@O2 Hi. I’ve left O2 in September when my contract expired and switched to another provider. I was billed in September in error and I spoke to someone who refunded the difference from when my contract expired. I have today received a debt recovery letter???? Can someone help!

@2bard @intueldonsquare @northumbriapol You're right in normal circumstances, however my phone signal keeps cutting out while @O2 are upgrading to 5G, last week a man had a seizure in front of me and I was getting repeatedly disconnected from the emergency services while trying to get an ambulance.

Santa Drops is coming to Toon 🎅🎅 (@doc_drops) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

You’re rolling out 5G when Newcastle doesn’t even have basic coverage, I have a 50GB contract with you and barely manage to use 2GB a month due to lack of signal/searching for free Wifi @O2

@O2 Hey I just received a text claiming to be from yourselves saying there’s been a problem processing my bill and gives me a link to update my payment details. Pretty sure it’s fishing as my details haven’t changed. Can you confirm if I DM you a screenshot? Cheers.

@O2 do you actually talk to your customers? I’ve been trying to contact you all week via the app, have called numerous times to be hung up on by an automated service and can’t get through to you at all. You’ve charged me twice for my bill & disconnected me even though I’ve paid!

@O2 hello. Can you please advise what your policy is for cancellation of contract when O2 has been unable to provide an acceptable level of service as might be expected under said contract?

  • MissParisRenee
    Yuri パリ🇩🇲🇱🇨 (@MissParisRenee) reported

@O2 what is going on with your signal, it's always bad, but the last few days have been horrendous, 1-2 bars max even outside of the house!

  • kesbyac
    Adrian Kesby (@kesbyac) reported

@O2 I just want to change tariff to 10GB plan. I’m with Virgin Media so that becomes 20GB which is perfectly adequate. Sim Onlys are circa £15 which is fine but was told in store that I can’t port my number on the same network!

  • elzreality
    Elzo (@elzreality) reported

@O2 Doesn't work - is it because im abroad? Shouldn't matter right in still in Europe

  • The_Nezir
    The Nezir (@The_Nezir) reported

@O2 As a computer engineer with a master's degree, this explanation struck me as ridiculous. As a customer who has purchased dozens of iPhones, several iPads, three Macbooks, an Apple Watch, AirPods, etc., this is the first time you've surprised me in a negative way.

  • JohnnyFocal
    Jon Thompson (@JohnnyFocal) reported

Question for @O2 : how can I be on your Ultimate package in central London and still have literally no usable data? The phone shows signal, but data traffic is effectively zero. I’ve tested the other three UK networks in the same locations and they all work perfectly. What exactly is wrong with your service? As you can see it connected to you do no data traffic? Why?

  • The_Nezir
    The Nezir (@The_Nezir) reported

@O2 Interestingly, three months ago, on the same day, I transferred both of my SIM cards to O2, installed eSIMs in two new iPhone Airs, both with the same iOS version. I carry both with me, and while one works perfectly, the other doesn't. When I told this to the service technician,

@O2 I’ve been a customer of Yours since the start and cannot believe I still can’t access 5G on my phone and that my 4G is pretty much nonexistent?! Please sort this!

  • Groundhopperno1
    RichardAngell (@Groundhopperno1) reported

@O2 After 25 years as a customer, I’ve discovered the hardest part isn’t getting a mobile signal- it’s making a complaint. Broken forms, unmonitored complaint emails, missed promises, no updates and a 28-day wait for a response. Quite remarkable customer service.
