@SkyHelpTeam good morning. I’m trying to turn Sky Talk Shield on through your webpage, but it keeps diverting me to a help page, rather than settings to activate it? 1780 on the phone doesn’t work either. Thanks :)

@SkyHelpTeam we’ve had trouble with broadband being slow last couple of days, pages slow to load, downloading on demand troublesome despite line test saying it’s OK - it’s not! Downdetector shows a nationwide issue of some sort what’s happening?

@SkyUK I really fail to see why I should have to fork out £50 for HDR content, I give Sky the best part of £90 a month, I like the content I get, but, just because I was an earlier adopter of the Sky 2TB Box, I fail to see every I & others should suffer?

@SkySports Am I the only one seeing things this way? Merc have won the development race since Brazil. Nothing Max can do. He tries to at least make it interesting but it seems everyone would prefer he just let's Lewis past. Hardly going to help Lewis' 'its the car' reputation is it?

@CarlTSpeak @SkyUK I guess in mitigation I'd say : Ours on our website is a specific connection in a specific location. It's not (I think) an 'advert' and doesn't use 'average'. But our download/upload speeds (sans 'up to') could set up a bad expectation that ALL uploads/downloads go that fast.
-
Bryan Pols

@botting_nikki @SkyHelpTeam I think you need to make this fix public knowledge if it works the number of people having this issue
-

@emarcus911 @SkySports Not at all - they have blazing opinions on both Lewis and max and have often come down on side of max when the rest of us think max is just a thug on wheels - as for the rest of the field if they do t get much coverage it’s because they haven’t deserved it
-
Carl Thomas
(@CarlTSpeak) reported
@alexbloor @SkyUK Then all broadband advertising and service descriptions, including your own website, are misleading.

𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 ᶦˢ ˢᵗᶦˡˡ ᵘⁿᶜᵒⁿᵛᶦⁿᶜᵉᵈ ᵇʸ ᵇˡᵒᶜᵏᶜʰᵃᶦⁿ
(@alexbloor) reported
@CarlTSpeak @SkyUK And where is this talk of 'to edge of network' coming from. That isn't what the advert says. It simply and succinctly says "500mbps average download speed". Which is something that most home users would read a certain obvious meaning into. A meaning that is wrong.
