Of course many have gone to @SkyHelpTeam on Twitter to check. The dodgy looking email is genuine but this is very poor practice. Even with my Dashlane password manager doing most of the work, it took me a while to check account & my two Sky emails.

@SkyHelpTeam I have but says a engineer needs to come out but I’m not at home and need one today earliest it says is 17th for one which is to late and have to pay £15 for evening call which is not acceptable so will check when home and if don’t work will go to another company and cancel sky

It truly baffles me that a company the size of @SkyHelpTeam cannot get an engineer out to sort out my TV problem for over three weeks. And then, if you want weekend or evening visits, you have to pay a premium to fix their own broken service.
