Sky Issues Reports Near Hunsingore, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Hunsingore and nearby locations:

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam I've done all of that I'm afraid and had Sky engineers out. This issue is unfortunately bigger than that and relates to the network in our area. Openreach arrived in 2018 to upgrade us all to fibre, but instead added a couple of houses to fibre, ignored the flats and reduced..

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam Hopefully! Like I've said before, it's not Sky's fault as they can't do anything on the network. It's not right that I'm having to raise a complaint about a completely separate company with yourselves, as that company won't take any responsibility for what they've done.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@OpenreachHelp @SkyHelpTeam .. has dropped as a result of Openreach's work (they've been out twice in fact). I then had an Openreach engineer out - he also confirmed the line speed was so slow because the line length was ridiculously long for no reason. After that..

  • prysds Richard Gear (@prysds) reported from Leeds, England

@SkySports why ******** has this **** been banging on about ******* Liverpool for 45 mins - it’s leeds vs palace.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam There's no point in another Sky engineer coming out as everything is the same as the past two times they did. It's all on Openreach, and they're just not interested in fixing the network for any of us on our estate.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam I've spoken to yourselves a number of times, and we've came to the same conclusion each time that it's to do with Openreach's network and the work they did in September 2018. The last direct messages sent between yourselves and I was the 28th August 2020.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam The only way that can happen is if Openreach come out and do something. Their attitude appears to be that it isn't their fault and they've refused to take any responsibility since. We've tried everything to get our network improved but we're getting nowhere.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@OpenreachHelp Sky @SkyHelpTeam will be able to confirm we've tried this multiple times. It's been escalated to your high level complaints team, but still Openreach won't do anything about the issue. We have no other options in this area - the only network available belongs to Openreach.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam It's the exact same story with fibre to the flats on the estate - they either ignore us, or come up with another excuse as to why they have to delay doing anything about it and then ignore us again. All while they're here every day connecting up houses and fixing their network.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam Hi, I was just wondering if your tech team made any progress with Openreach regarding improvements to the existing copper line on our estate? @OpenreachHelp are taking no responsibility (as usual...), but it's their network that's causing the slow speeds.

  • Mdearden79 Mike dearden (@Mdearden79) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam for info, I’m currently on my mobile providers 4G as the WiFi is not good enough to support sending this tweet and live stream the tv.

  • craigymac83 Craig McGrath (@craigymac83) reported from Leeds, England

@dukesof16 @SkySports Absolute hero of that cup run never forgotten #bcafc

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@OpenreachHelp @SkyHelpTeam I appreciate it must be embarrassing that your teams have caused such disruption to an estate, but it is your issue to rectify. If it was up to Sky, the issue would have been sorted within days along - unfortunately, its not and we have to go through Openreach.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam I'm not doing this just for my flat - it's for every flat on our estate. They cut all of us off and reduced all of our speeds. And they could do the same tomorrow if they wanted, as they have full control of the network. It's just hopeless.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam @OpenreachHelp @WeAreOpenreach .. network in 2018. Using the internet or any services (like Sky Catch Up!) are almost impossible as our speeds are so slow. I do appreciate it's not Sky's fault (its Openreach's), but we really need your help to push them to do something while we wait on fibre.

  • Mdearden79 Mike dearden (@Mdearden79) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam for info, I’m currently on my mobile providers 4G as the WiFi is not good enough to support sending this tweet and Luce streaming the tv.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@OpenreachHelp @SkyHelpTeam .. nothing happened, as there's no interest within Openreach to fix the issue. Possibly because it means admitting the line speed dropped because of work your engineers did to install fibre to the area (but not to the majority of properties or any flats on our estate).

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@OpenreachHelp @SkyHelpTeam So I'm sorry David, but I've heard all this before and nothing happens. There are engineers ever present on our estate, allegedly fixing faults - please ask them to look at and fix the biggest fault of the lot, our line to the exchange.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@SkyHelpTeam I think this has been with your own complaints department (not that it was a complaint against Sky, it's not your fault, just that they could talk to Openreach), but even they couldn't get anywhere.

  • StewForsyth Stewart (@StewForsyth) reported from Leeds, England

@OpenreachHelp Sorry Frazer but I've done that. Many, many times. And @SkyHelpTeam have actually been really helpful too when I have done. Unfortunately when it hits yourselves at Openreach (@WeAreOpenreach) you're not helpful. Not even slightly. You've no interest in resolving the issue.

  • blaz_fan Hotspur Blaz (@blaz_fan) reported

@Yorkshire77 @ItsRandall26 @SkySports We haven't been kicked out The 6 clubs chose to leave and they can all easily just **** back off in the pre decided to punish Like it or not the big 6 have all the power

  • ObiWanKenimbis Nim (@ObiWanKenimbis) reported

@LeoGardner19 @PAttacking @SkySports Rangers shafted HMRC for 91m, the super league never even got off the ground. Lay aff the glue

  • katie_ford Katie Thirkell (@katie_ford) reported

@SkyUK just had a call saying I needed to download a ‘quick support’ app to fix my internet speed. When I said no I didn’t want to and he could send it in a letter he questioned why I wouldn’t and hung up. Pretty sure it’s a scam but might be worth letting people know.

  • yorkshabastard LimaSierraTwoSeven (@yorkshabastard) reported

@MikeFit09263299 @SkySports Think you're kidding yourself tbh but each to their own. What difference do the fans make with 3.5 billion and the Asian market with no loyalty who would still "support".

  • james5555522 james5555522 (@james5555522) reported

@Fecomnet @SkySports Dont mean any offense here but in Nigeria that might be the case and I get that. But we have huge clubs like Newcastle, Villa, Everton to name a few and clubs all the way down to the 3rd teir with 10k plus attendance I'm sure we would be just fine mate.

  • geethreedeebees The Goose (@geethreedeebees) reported

@yorkshabastard @SkySports It’s questionable whether they did break any PL rules, given that the Super League only seemed to exist on a website and in press conferences - all you have in a memorandum of understanding between clubs on a new competition. Can you ‘enter’ a competition if it never took place?

  • LennyJones26 Lenny #FSGOut (@LennyJones26) reported

@yorkshabastard @SkySports They did after and were refused, so they dropped out, so does that mean rules broken, who knows, I hope they do get punished even though I support one of them.

  • M1919Matt MattM1919 (@M1919Matt) reported

@AlexScouse13 @SkySports Being rich doesn’t mean your above the law. The punishment should fit the crime and be something that money can’t fix and enough to deter. Transfer ban, points deduction. 2008 Luton were docked 30 points for breaking 2 rules. Leeds 25 points before that. What’s the difference?

  • cafc_shaun Shaun H (@cafc_shaun) reported

@KojoBabatunde @SkySports Breaking every conceivable PL rule in the sun by signing a contract without informing the other members or the governing body? Wake up and smell the coffee no need for a different narrative, they need to be punished and heavily so events like this never happen again.

  • RG42069 RuDeAwAkEnInG42069 (@RG42069) reported

@SkySports He means it will save the **** show that is Real Madrid through his own doing, spending hundreds of millions they obviously dont have.
