@TalkTalk Visit arranged for the weekend! But it see me from twitter that I'm not the only one with this problem, so I'm guessing it's not a domestic issue but one from the signal source i.e. @TalkTalk

  • Davidp1103 David-19 (@Davidp1103) reported from Snodland, England

  • ConnorKinch Connor Kinch (@ConnorKinch) reported from Canvey Island, England

@TalkTalk @TalkTalkGroup You should lower your prices considering how goddamn often your connections go bad, it's like every 3 days :/

  • boyci3 Boycie (@boyci3) reported from Gravesend, England

@TalkTalk I cancelled my broadband service as it never worked, it was all agreed on the phone & chat. Why am I getting emails to pay a bill ?

  • Davidp1103 David-19 (@Davidp1103) reported from Snodland, England

@TalkTalk - so despite touching nothing I can receive NO aerial tv channels. All connections checked and rebooting makes no difference. Not the first time I have had issues with service.. Sort this out @talktalk or I suspend my payments to you.

  • cliffmasterson Cliff Masterson (@cliffmasterson) reported from Higham, England

Having a @TalkTalk kind of day. You know, the one where you spend 2 and a half hours chatting to tech support. Get cut off 3 times and then they go with the ‘reboot your laptop’ line. Painful.

  • Davidp1103 David-19 (@Davidp1103) reported from Gravesend, England

@TalkTalk Connecting the antenna directly to the service and bypassing the set top box gives reception so it's not the set or the aerial.

  • A1_Gnarly_Dude A1_Gnarly_Dude (@A1_Gnarly_Dude) reported from Cliffe, England

@TalkTalk Log into your router via browser on 192.168.1.1 (default) and change your primary and secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8 (Google’s) public Domain Name Server. That should resolve this TalkTalk DNS issue and get you up and running!

  • Davidp1103 David-19 (@Davidp1103) reported from Snodland, England

@TalkTalk I have since spent three hours on various online chats with your technical support and got nowhere. They have arranged for a home visit but it seems from other tweets that I am not the only one with this issue .

  • Spanna1997 Hannah Sutherland (@Spanna1997) reported from Halling, England

@TalkTalk @TalkTalk The problem appears to have now resolved itself.

  • Davidp1103 Davidp (@Davidp1103) reported from Gravesend, England

@Complyorcry @Back_Two_Mee To @TalkTalk they are okay but the broadband is not a good as VM but it's okay; it cut the monthly bill in half. I have since dropped their tv service and bought a freeview recorder. Monthly bill for broadband/phone £38

  • Davidp1103 Davidp (@Davidp1103) reported from Snodland, England

@TalkTalk major issues with internet in ME6 post code. What's wrong?

  • Davidp1103 David-19 (@Davidp1103) reported from Gravesend, England

@TalkTalk It would be nice if you could reduce or remove a £40 charge for an engineer who called but made no inspection of equipment, explained that Freeview channels had been altered; a fact that your customer services were not aware of, but should have known.

TalkTalk Issues Reports

  • JohnsonAlo2 TemiJohnson Alo (@JohnsonAlo2) reported

@TalkTalk Two upgrades two days in a row. Had loss of service twice now. Fix your servers.

  • CharlesBunker Charles Bunker (@CharlesBunker) reported

This now takes the complete and utter biscuit. @Talktalk chat have just told me that I need to contact the technical support team but that is exactly how this whole process started. Apparently they can’t talk to them

  • Sweetburlingame Peter Sloane (@Sweetburlingame) reported

Anyone else make the mistake of having @TalkTalk internet? Ours is so bad that the router is merely an ugly ornament and we spend all the time using my phone as a mobile hotspot. Been like this from day one, but so difficult to get anything done we just learned to live with it.

  • chayground Chay (@chayground) reported

3/3 TalkTalk have messed us around for 6 months, told BT to cut us off so that they can provide service instead, then failed to provide it, but asked me to ring them every 3 days since March to try to find out why it's not active. TalkTalk lady told me to "try to go back on BT"

  • scottycash1974 Scotty Cash (@scottycash1974) reported

@TalkTalk Back on now thank you, we just tend to get recurrent issues. With an ever increasing bill, that’s supposed to be for faster and a more reliable service. We’re not seeing that, I.e. the service isn’t improving in a linear relationship to cost.

  • CharlesBunker Charles Bunker (@CharlesBunker) reported

Still on the phone to @TalkTalk chat room and after 50 minutes They haven’t yet grasped it’s an intermittent problem. For some reason they think I’m complaining about speed when I’ve never mentioned the word They’ve just asked me after two hours if I want to continue diagnostics!

  • twentytotwo Jason Smith (@twentytotwo) reported

@TalkTalk my internet is down AGAIN. Service status says there's a problem, then sends a nice text saying you're sorry and that it now appears to be working. IT ISN'T. Live chat doesn't work. The phone number is out of hours so isn't being picked up. WTF?

  • krrutherford13 Keith Rutherford (@krrutherford13) reported

@TalkTalk I've already done a live chat. There is clearly an outage in the DN14 area. I'd suggest you put a tweet out to that effect rather than loads of customers raising individual requests.

  • chayground Chay (@chayground) reported

@BTCare It was @TalkTalk who requested end of my BT services directly (I was already out of contract having been a customer for many years). They've left me in a very bad position -no internet service, no option other than to sign up for 24m BT or wait for line to be provisioned for TT
