My wife has just come off the phone to #talktalk an hour of persistently being told by them that their internet is fine, we don't need a new router as our original 6 yr old one is fine its probably my 6 month old laptop that's the problem!!!!!

I've discovered that if you're not with Virgin for broadband you have Openreach, they service all others from Sky to EE, TalkTalk to BT. Also, Openreach outsource work so beware dodgy contractors!

@frangla @CliveTheBike What always niggles in the back of my mind is that Orange manage the infrastructure, so if you get a problem with anything it will get fixed faster if you’re with them than anyone else. Had bad UK experiences with TalkTalk and OpenReach (BT).

@virginmedia What a surprise the service from the disgrace of a company. Engineer not booked in. Waited from 930 for a manager to call me regarding the booking for 4pm. Still no call. I chased up and robbed off again. Why did I change from @TalkTalk
