@virginmedia Apparently there’s a fault in the area now, but I’ve seen similar tweets from Newcastle and London so it’s not just my area it’s the whole country. Really poor service these days.

@philsid @virginmedia Me either mate. Was surprised actually. Only issue is the line speed was poor as they use the old bt phone lines so gaming ping could be a nightmare. I changed back soon as I could but thier name is mud up here mate

@virginmedia I moved back to virgin in Feb as I had a house move and it wasn't on my new street.Soon as they put it in I switched back to you but it certainly isn't the "always on" service I remember. I've had a new tivo within 2 months. Line issue. And repeated loss of service.All in 6 month

@Ofcom why are you still allowing virgin media to provide intermittent tv, broadband and phone packages without punishment. In our area over the last two year they have provided an awful service. Constantly going down or intermittent. Horrible customer service.

@virginmedia Yes, it is, and the situation has still not changed I am afraid. Virgin Media has not given any further information regards this, and Ai have no idea when the issue may be resolved. It is impossible to get any information at all!

@virginmedia so you’ve run tests and there’s no fault - no tv or internet - not happy, I really don’t know why I bother torturing myself with your appalling service, and dire customer service. I know when I get through to Pune I’ll be told there’s nothing wrong. Aaargh

@GarethAllen3 @virginmedia Awful company to deal with. Customer care practically zero. I’m still waiting for a call from 3 weeks ago. How can a comms company have no facility to email them or live chat? Just about to change my services and save some of the £120 a month these jokers charge

@virginmedia Its off more times than its on of late. I'm still getting an intermittent line issue on my bb which ive had pretty much from day one and the whole service goes off in wakefield/ dewsbury area at least once a week. Its off now.

@virginmedia Broadband down again this morning in SE London, got through to customer services and they advised the outage expected to be fixed by 12th April. No compensation offered and I would have to pay a penalty to cancel my contract.

@virginmedia @HoneySarfo @vmbusinesshelp If you have a business account then look at the service level agreement you have with virgin. Any loss of business due to a breach of the SLA means you can claim compensation or penalise virgin media for it.

@virginmedia 15 hours later and I still have no internet. Can’t get through to a human on the phone and now I’m very concerned as you are switching me against my wishes to fibre phone tomorrow. Will this be delayed and do all of us get money off our bills for no service?

@mrstay_fly @BrandonIngham @virginmedia I don't thinks the big issue is that it goes down -- that happens -- we all understand that. The problem is that I knew at 2am it had gone down and they didn't say anything until 7 hours later. That's not acceptable. They should know their network is down and communicate that.
