  • EllenParker6 Ellen Parker (@EllenParker6) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia 4 month countdown to get rid of you your customer service is beyond rude. Your technical support is lacking in manners and availability. @SkyUK we are on our way back sorry for leaving biggest mistake ever. We may have saved £20 but not worth the shit service

  • cardiffsworker Ann-Marie B 🧜🏻‍♀️💃🏻🎓⭐️ (@cardiffsworker) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia omg going to miss @C4Gogglebox no C4 on virgin media #help

  • ObsrvntPheasant Chris Roberts (@ObsrvntPheasant) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia No, I didn’t get any estimates. Just a generic “we’re sorry you’re still having issues, our engineers are currently working on it but it’s taking longer than expected” (something along those lines at least).

  • IAmMartJohn Mart Verallo John (@IAmMartJohn) reported from Cardiff, Wales

I know I'm flogging a dead horse where with this customer service tweets. But I've spent a collective hour and a half on hold trying to cancel @virginmedia as they only let you do it through the phone, but don't actually pick up. Genius idea really

  • LouisPMertens Louis Mertens (@LouisPMertens) reported from Cardiff, Wales

1/2 My exp. with @VirginMedia has been a farce involving incorrect contract lengths, engineers insisting my package can't be installed bc customer service sold me a service that doesn't exist, phone calls from Virgin saying the engineers are wrong...

  • rhysmorgan Rhys Morgan (@rhysmorgan) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia Keep having problems where, every few days or so, the booster loses connectivity with the base unit, resulting in it outputting no internet connection. On top of that, the speeds are less than half that of the main router (350 - 500 Mbps on our Hub vs 150 Mbps from booster)

  • apollobarc apollo barcelon (@apollobarc) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia i was promised that my broadband service will be ok today no internet service since friday and i come home today still no service i have been using up all my data on my phone

  • hannahughes Hannah Hughes (@hannahughes) reported from Cardiff, Wales

It is beginning to look like @virginmedia have fraudulently sold us a package that was not available to me due to the many reasons that your various customer service team members mentioned before they hung up by putting me on “hold” and made me ring back...

  • Dumbo7713 Dumbo (@Dumbo7713) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@garycymro @virginmedia Try TB home hub I'm with virgin there shit

  • cardiffsworker Ann-Marie B 🧜🏻‍♀️💃🏻🎓⭐️ (@cardiffsworker) reported from Cardiff, Wales

  • rhysmorgan Rhys Morgan (@rhysmorgan) reported from Cardiff, Wales

I s2g, Virgin Media’s boosters are SO awful

  • mikeenea Michael Enea (@mikeenea) reported from St. Julians, Wales

@virginmedia down yet again. Last month, the broadband has gone to shite. Very frustrating. Seriously giving thought to switch supplier now (first time in 10 years).

  • ObsrvntPheasant Chris Roberts (@ObsrvntPheasant) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@virginmedia I tried texting that number and got no answer. I just tried calling the helpline, was on hold for about 20 minutes, was asked for all my contact details and then your operator told me her system is down and I should call back in 2 hours!!

  • AChinnick90 Andrew Chinnick (@AChinnick90) reported from Cardiff, Wales

    @RSpencer100 @virginmedia TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • jade_steer Jade (@jade_steer) reported from Cardiff, Wales

never normally tweet about this stuff but can’t let this one go. just had the absolute worst customer service experience with @virginmedia. horrendously snappy, rude, and impatient (even sighed at having to deal with our problem!)

  • philmonkey Phil Rogers (@philmonkey) reported from Ponthir, Wales

@virginmedia @DannyHackett Had a moment around a decade ago where they sent me through the song and dance of rebooting etc. So I cut it short, told them to look at the signal levels. They did. We agreed that it’s not localised to my property, they fixed. No pointless faffing.

  • philmonkey Phil Rogers (@philmonkey) reported from Ponthir, Wales

@virginmedia @DannyHackett Be careful with the fob offs Danny - if it’s a connection problem (not your in house WiFi) then Virgin, as with any other cable company, can see your connection status from the modem to their services via DOCSIS and also should be able to see logs too 😉

  • philmonkey Phil Rogers (@philmonkey) reported from Ponthir, Wales

@DannyHackett @virginmedia If they’re saying it’s an area fault maybe the signal to the box isn’t within the acceptable conditions so it has to reconnect often. Same problem in Dartford but fixed on their end after several calls...

  • IDLLAP Ian Davies 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇪🇺 🏳️‍🌈 #IDIC 🖖🏻 (@IDLLAP) reported from Cwmbran Central, Wales

@virginmedia after your poor installation at my brother's house, cable running across the hallway, you now want to charge him to put your mistake right. He shouldn't be charged for your engineer leaving a trip hazard

  • hannahughes Hannah Hughes (@hannahughes) reported from Cardiff, Wales

@emmah1188 @virginmedia Completely incompetent. Customer service is unacceptable. Unable to give a ‘goodwill gesture’ as we’re not account holders despite having an account number, set up a direct debit and signing a contract.

£55 for broadband/landline! Nice way to treat loyal customers @virginmedia Never again 😡

  • L_Tarsy L_Tarsy (@L_Tarsy) reported

@USMCNoggin @AstroMikeMerri @virginmedia also are you running Cat6 ethernet cable? some people are still using their old Cat4 and Cat5 cables from years ago and never think to replace them. BIG difference in speed.

  • TykeTalking Valerie 🇬🇧🤝🇺🇸 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🤝🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@TykeTalking) reported

@Rikmat @tonydr0 @virginmedia Poured water on it myself. I went to check if there was any permanent damage and from what I could see there isn't.

  • JohnNay02908827 John Naylor (@JohnNay02908827) reported

@afneil I hope this gets noticed. I was really looking forward to watching GB News but there are hurdles! Where I live, Freeview has 16 channels, Virgin Media are miles away and I'll never subscribe to Sky. I do have Freesat though. Any chance of launching on that platform?

  • jbomber01 Jamie Lancaster (@jbomber01) reported

@virginmedia I joined you 18th December but there was a problem with my connection which meant it wasn't working until the end of the month after a technician visit. I have checked my first bill and you are charging me from the 18th when I didnt have a functioning service!

  • MeisterR0b0t0 Jake (@MeisterR0b0t0) reported

@USMCNoggin @AstroMikeMerri @virginmedia Our coaxial cable kept on being affected by a lot of interference and that caused the bulk of our problems, so we had to get it switched out (whole thing)

  • hughes_lynette Lynette Hughes (@hughes_lynette) reported

@virginmedia is there any way I can make a complaint without having to do it over the phone please?

  • Robertscgf Chris Roberts (@Robertscgf) reported

@virginmedia Thanks. I tried this option, and was told there it is currently not possible to order additional pods, and that they will notify when it is possible. Why is this? I knew from the outset I would need multiple pods and would not have signed up for this service if this is correct.

  • andycampbell87 Andy Campbell (@andycampbell87) reported

@virginmedia you say "the best way to contact us is by calling us" not once in 4 weeks have i got through. Just says "unable to take this call goodbye". Wouldn't get this issue with @skytv

  • tricial08920645 tricia lowe (@tricial08920645) reported

@virginmedia Not sure why you’re asking, you don’t seem able to help???
