Please be aware everyone when you get a inbox from virgin media. I got one yesterday asking about my account and asking me to send my card details and card holder name and security number to verify the account. It wasn’t virgin media but a scam. Because my internet was down. Scum

@virginmedia No, tried 3 times on hold for 20 minutes then cut off by agents without saying a word. After checking other responses I can see this has been the issue either other customers.

@virginmedia why is your self service so poor please. Unable to resolve the fault that I have on my service for 2 days now. No one to speak to and the website is abhorrent in terms of customer experience and engagement. Endless loop of bad requests within the servers you use too

@virginmedia They advised, reset, changing from 2.4 to 5. Then back again. Changing the settings on the account. Done this multiple times. Customer service hung up on me then I rang back again and was told I hung up on them. Awaiting a supervisor call. It’s never worked since installation

@virginmedia I’ve sorted the problem I think. Or maybe until the next time it goes off. I’ve disconnected coax cable etc and blew them clean and tightened them back up and done a speed test and it’s up to 365mb download speed. Hopefully this has fixed problem

@virginmedia Yes unable to use it. Wireless is very poor and was great during the first couple of weeks. Uploading is very hot and miss. Not happy considering I’m paying for fast broadband. My phone rarely connects to it unless I’m fairly close to the router. This can’t be right

@virginmedia It was working fine, then went off and came back but the hub was flashing green quite quickly. When it renegotiates it's usually slow and steady green flash but this was really quick

@virginmedia I'm talking about 5G, with EE I used to get 300s Mbps, never seen such results since the switch to O2. Regarding broadband, it's in the 700s, never bothered to look into it as I think the bottleneck is my homelab setup.
