Virgin Media Issues Reports Near Spennymoor, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Spennymoor and nearby locations:

  • gaznolan Gary Nolan (@gaznolan) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia fully and reasonably, the agent response was "oh okay" and put the phone down. How do I make a formal complaint about the atrocious service you guys offer? (2/2)

  • gaznolan Gary Nolan (@gaznolan) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia hey virgin media - when I'm told a final figure on my account and find out the agent lied and gave me a higher figure and then your complaint team tell me not to worry it'll be sorted. My contract finished on 30/3 but you've still taken a full month's payment (1/2)

  • AlanHewitt10 Big Al H (@AlanHewitt10) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia how do you have the front to increase my bills by nearly 20 percent and yet your service has been awful lately. In the morning my tv broadband and landline is going. And my mobile will not be renewed.

  • mark770 Mark Walker (@mark770) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia An area outage with something your end caused my issue (no bband) to flag as being resolved at your end. That was not the case in slightest (still without bband) and the tech appt this morning being cancelled but no notification

  • gaznolan Gary Nolan (@gaznolan) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia So when does that happen and why was this not pointed out at any time in the cancellation process. Now I'm not a customer how do I lodge a formal complaint please?

  • mark770 Mark Walker (@mark770) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia how can you justify levying £25.00 charges if fail to cancel a "now resolved" tech visit but you fail to reciprocate the gesture when YOU cancel a visit and fail to notify the customer with the cancellation being due to an "outage" at your end? Shambolic&insulting

  • TrackScotti Shaun Harrison (@TrackScotti) reported from Darlington, England

The @virginmedia Hub 3 (and I understand the 4 is just as bad) is a shocking WiFi offering. Any more than 10-15 items on it (not a lot considering what homes have connected these days) and it drops WiFi often! Ethernet connected devices are fine, yes, but not a good look !!

  • Corney77 Paul Corney (@Corney77) reported from Darlington, England

@virginmedia the level of service I’m reviewing from yourselves is disgraceful. None interested in trying to deal with my issue. Just been hung up on AGAIN. Please can someone contact me to help.

  • Tanya_M_S Tanya ❤️🤍 (@Tanya_M_S) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

@virginmedia sky red button not working again. 😕 sort it out 🤬😡😡😡😡

  • VictoriaBarry82 Victoria barry (@VictoriaBarry82) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

@virginmedia M125, it’s terrible, it’s always going down, if we are both wfh we need to turn any devices off to be able to use our work laptops

  • mark770 Mark Walker (@mark770) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia My issue is bband been down since Thursday night and Friday a tech visit for this morning between 8 and 12. Due to an outage at your end, the visit was incorrectly cancelled as your records showed as "now fixed". We didn't find this until contacting yourselves after 12 today

  • gaznolan Gary Nolan (@gaznolan) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia any chance we'll get reimbursed for the service outage in the TS20 postcode? 2 days we've had a fault

  • DAWUK17 Drew W 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@DAWUK17) reported from Harrogate Hill, England

@virginmedia down again !? Got to be the worst service going

  • modelnicola Nicola (@modelnicola) reported from Peterlee, England

@virginmedia Frustrating it had to come to this when an internal investigation would easily reveal that your contractors removed struts designed to secure the fence. Now having to pay court fees to remedy an issue created by you. It's a sham. I guess you hope most people back down.

  • beck5ter Jason N Beck (@beck5ter) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@beardedian @VirginMediaCorp Then again I wouldn't expect anything less from Virgin Media. The only thing that is stopping me leaving them is losing my emails. Going to look into an alternative solution to that problem tomorrow

  • modelnicola Nicola (@modelnicola) reported from Peterlee, England

@VirginMediaCorp @virginmedia paperwork completed by my other half for court. Not a single follow up from Virgin. Please RT what a shambles this company and their contractors are. Accepted fault for damage at the time but won't pay up for repairs. Spread the word. Retweet this!

  • VictoriaBarry82 Victoria barry (@VictoriaBarry82) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

@virginmedia Yes that’s fine, I offered to send it back but I was told to use it until the call was listened to. Can you check on the progress of the complaint

  • beck5ter Jason N Beck (@beck5ter) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

Question?? how long before Virgin Media shuts down your email if you leave them?? @VirginMediaCorp

  • mark770 Mark Walker (@mark770) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia JS, have you taken the time to read the thread through? It would appear not as your previous colleague intimated that you would be looking at auto-comp issue when I notified you that the issue had been resolved though you mentioned nothing about that.

  • gaznolan Gary Nolan (@gaznolan) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@virginmedia great service NOT! Called yesterday to disconnect and was blatantly given incorrect information by the chat agent. Had a call today from another retention agent asking how he could resolve the issues so I explained what happened. (1/2)

@virginmedia how pathetic is your customer service when you promise the world + deliver nothing. My father is an 80 year old man. You confirmed that you would automatically transfer him from sky and there was nothing to worry about. That was over 15 days ago and still nothing...

  • Jonscoasting Southcoasting (@Jonscoasting) reported

@virginmedia No, the service always degrades whenever it rains. A lot of customers in BN2 say the same - it is very noticeable.

  • parrish24New Steve Parrish (@parrish24New) reported

@NorgiePaul @chezdon1997 @virginmedia I’ve had 7 calls today I’ve just checked ,I do answer but they hang up after muttering two words( a computer I think ) ,might phone 02 in the morning 👊
