    Anyone else on @virginmedia getting “To Be Announced” on virtually every channel. Tried rebooting, switching on and off. Strikes me that VM has gone to shit recently. Loads of channels have gone, close to sacking it off.

    If @virginmedia offer you a 6 month free upgrade do not accept it. It is a way of locking you into a further contract. Poor service as always

    @virginmedia It’s difficult to articulate in a tweet but speaking to someone in an offshore contact centre who has a very poor grasp of English is extremely frustrating. There is no malice in this, it’s just a statement of fact, I couldn’t make myself understood, it took 4 calls and 75 mins.

    @virginmedia good customer service , they asked if they could ring me back in 15 mins due to his PC not working , now 2.5 hours later and I am still waiting , tried ringing them back and been on hold for 28 mins now 😡

    @danielpwood1 @virginmedia I don’t have a regional accent so am normally easily understood, I’m also very patient, enjoy speaking to the Indian guys about cricket, but tonight it was unprofessional and my near thirty years service to VM in all it’s guises rendered irrelevant

    @virginmedia I’ve already spoken to someone on the phone who reset the network, but that didn’t work. I also tried re-starting everything and that also didn’t work, the box itself is very slow now also.

    It seems our landline number has been spoofed - have received dozens of calls responding to a request to call back. Have reported this to a helpful @virginmedia, but finding out ‘advice’ online pretty useless. Sit and wait it out seems to be the solution.

    @virginmedia 1. Why the neighbour would not have the same issues when the ‘issue’ is your automated phone system is beyond my comprehension! 2. It is not a neighbours responsibility to resolve a phone issue for the bill payer. 3. Through an internal contact I now have an engineer visit bkd.

    @virginmedia your customer service team is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard! Routers not working switch off then back on... it’s broken I can book an engineer for Saturday....

    virgin media have been in touch, essentially we're having connection issues. Engineer's coming out Thursday With that in mind all streams are on hold until I know what is going on as it just wont hold for stream. So please bare with me hopefully stream wise I will be back soon 💖

    @virginmedia The problem started today. I can watch on iplayer etc and those platforms are fine, so it’s not the tv. Just no sound when on regular channels via the virgin box !

    @virginmedia I will, as there appears to be no direct help your company offers, but this is nothing to do with temperamental wi-fi, this is the base tech being garbage. Customers shouldn't have to write reams on forums to get help. You should be serving them and sorting the problem for them.

    @virginmedia Yes - it showed intermittent - but I have to wait 24 hours - the WiFi basically is poor in my house in some rooms and drops out at 5pm every day - I just need to speak to someone to organise more boosters and some@help

    @virginmedia absolute nightmare, first off the number you gave me was the same number i spent 2hrs on yesterday. so i phone it again, get put through to another agent who passed me on to a pending installation dept. and then I get cut off the call and no one has called me back! awful service
