    @virginmedia I didn’t get the opportunity to call yesterday, but I noticed last night that it’s working again. There was nothing mentioned on service page (not unusual) but there must’ve been a fault that was eventually fixed.

    @virginmedia I’m signed in but I see no option to test the landline. I clicked on ‘fix landline’ but that just sent me back to the main menu page.

    @virginmedia @VMHelpDesk Internet connection is intermittent in NE34, has been since at least Saturday. Connection drops at random. Have just restarted router again as I'm working from home & need to be online, no idea how long this will last. Not the only one having issues.

    @virginmedia The Hub is in modem mode connected to a separate wireless router as the Hub's WiFi has been poor since we got it, so technically it's a wired connection. Router's connection is lost when it drops so no devices can connect wirelessly. Has been stable for about 3 hours now.

    @virginmedia my elderly mother has been trying to contact you for over 3 weeks now to cancel her sub as it has gone up £60 pm. She has been out on hold numerous times and cut off no help on chat etc. her only option now is to cancel the DD as she can’t afford this anymore… help

    Time for the @virginmedia renewal. They want to hike the price. We want a new reliable WiFi box which they promised but didn't deliver last time. To be honest @BT is looking attractive as they may improve the signal around the house.

    @virginmedia Lots of people are complaining about this on the customer forums. We've had very little downtime since the separate router was connected, it's suddenly gone to pot and seems to be a general issue at the moment.

    @virginmedia Nothing reported when I checked before tweeting. Seems to have stabilised for now but must've dropped 15-20 times in the last 48h. No faults were reported on the site when my father-in-law had a complete loss of service a couple of months ago, but it was reported on the helpline.

    @virginmedia Yes as I say you just keep moving the time back from 23:45 last night to 10:00 this morning; and no doubt another push back to a thin air picked time in the next 35mins. Presumably same issues in KT as TW that we have had several times the last cpl mths and aren’t updated on fix

    @virginmedia Regarding the V6 I was told they’ll send me 1 but when I called back to get help with the internet I asked if the V6 was on order and was told there’s nothing showing in my account. As for heating router is hot to touch and requires rebooting constantly

    @virginmedia Issue updates We can email or text you (your choice) with updates on this issue, and tell you when it's been done. This is cut/paste from virgin website. So again no answers given to my questions. Where are my updates for ever moving fix time (now 12 pm was 9am and then 10am)

    @brucemurchie @virginmedia Not a good idea declaring outages in a postcode district. Well known that burglars trawl provider feeds, knowing all those security cameras will be off line. Suggest you stick to private messages rather than attracting trouble to our area please.
