@virginmedia Yes I did and yes we had to wait 4 days to get service back, due to "something" the Monday engineer did while tidying the cables. Absolute shambles of a service.

@virginmedia All other devices etc seem to be connecting so I will contact HIVE or @scottishgas tomorrow to see if they can help, but given your own systems cant reach the router I believe that's the issue.....again.

@virginmedia Worst service ever. Had an engineer here today to make good the mess the installation engineer made, allnhebjad to do was tidy up cables and yet he's left us with no TV, broadband or phone and there's no engineers available until Friday. THE WORST

Spent hours yet again trying to make the Virgin Media hub 3 work but now I just want to smash it and it's actually feeding into my depression/anxiety. Seems like every six months it's an issue. I love the speed but I might just say **** it soon and change service.

@virginmedia This is the second or third time since getting this hub I've had to do factory resets. The previous had no issues at all until it eventually failed after 5/6 years.

@virginmedia I've managed to get it to reset finally, so whatever issue was niggling seems to have been resolved. Might still need a new router at this rate but will keep an eye on it. Shouldn't need this much work to keep it running (thankfully I'm somewhat tech savvy)

@virginmedia Worst service ever. Engineer turns up today at 12 to sort a mess of cables left by the installing engineer, leaves us with NO broadband, phone or tv and now can't get an engineer until Friday. Appalling.

@virginmedia just signed up to Virgin on the ultimate oomph package but I can’t even use YouTube in a different room to the hub, called and was told signal wasn’t bad enough for you to help??? We will just cancel I shouldn’t be having to use my phone data while at home

hi @virginmedia I received the new HUB 4 as an offer, installed and NOW I DONT HAVE WIFI FOR 4 DAYS!!!!!! I'm not using the service and I still have to pay for it! WHY??? I need to work! Why do you send equipment that doesn't work and crushes all connection?

@virginmedia having real problems with catch up. 6 weeks now. Both boxes saying network connection fault and can’t watch any catchup. Constantly dropping out. All other services ok. Help!

@virginmedia Yeah - this doesn’t work on the 360 box as it only shows you the highest def channel you have available in your package. And there is no option to upgrade either on the box itself or on the website / my service upgrades. Had to call your contact centre. Waiting on activation 👀

@AshFrith @virginmedia I had the same problem with them. The fella on the phone told me that they could only guarantee wired speeds - I told him I expect wifi in a room 10 feet away from the router. They then demanded £5 a month extra for a booster plug so I told them to take it all out.
