  • zarabarclay

@virginmedia is there a problem in Dundee with broadband? Wifi keeps going off and on every 15 mins, checked box etc all fine. This is the second time to have happened in 2 weeks!

  • badassscotsman
Jim Auld (@badassscotsman) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@LibertyGlobal @virginmedia. A big thanks for doing absolutely nothing to help us the paying consumers at this time. Is there any point you having a twitter page or Facebook page because your not listening to consumers at all especially at this time.

  • myster02
Kimberley Kilmister (@myster02) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia absolutely disgusted with your 'customer service' been trying for ages to get someone to recontact our services. If I don't take a deal im NOT interested in, keep being offered the same one, im put into a queue thats NEVER ANSWERED #competionRules #ofcom

@virginmedia @therealpaulbond ITV down here too, and the picture quality has been breaking up randomly for days. The biggest joke is that the service status page on the virgin media website is....broken! Couldn’t make it up!

  • BrianAustin21
Brian Austin (@BrianAustin21) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia I have no wifi service. I haven't had any for 24 hours. I have spoken to customer service and they cannot get anyone to fix this today. I am on hold now to cancel my services

  • stevelonie
Steve Lonie (@stevelonie) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@DanLeePadgett @CISASUK @virginmedia The most laughable thing was I asked them to ping my box to see if they could see me on the network. Two calls and twice I was told that the connection was fine. Thought it might have been a MAC address problem. After a week, they eventually sent an engineer out..

  • billypleased
DJ Billy Morris (@billypleased) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia My internet seems to be intermittent most days? I often get the message on my devices "your internet is unstable."

  • badassscotsman
Jim Auld (@badassscotsman) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia Plus problems. I even had to get a mate to have a look the phone lines because he used to work for virgin media as enginer he told me the lines were all rusted and need replacing even then they did listen now it's speed problems amongst propertys

  • badassscotsman
Jim Auld (@badassscotsman) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia I would rather call them myself. All I'm asking for is a phone number to call them which does exist so I could call them direct so they can listen to me and sort the problem out.

  • kirstycalligan
Kirsty Morris (@kirstycalligan) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia hi, I've just joined as a new customer but have some queries, can someone please help?

Jim Auld (@badassscotsman) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@SkyUK @virginmedia With this virus going around and thousand going into self isolating Schools closing. Company's and business closing. Is there any deals you're doing. Is there anything your doing to help with things such a free channels.

  • KirstyKirstyy
Kirsty Rennie (@KirstyKirstyy) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia absolute joke. Been stuck on hold for 30 minutes with the same crap songs playing on loop. What is going on, surely a company as big as yours has enough staff to provide support to your customers.

  • delmonifieth
derek stewart🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@delmonifieth) reported from Monifieth, Scotland

@virginmedia Get YOUR TEAM to phone me with the solution to YOUR mismanagement.

  • badassscotsman
Jim Auld (@badassscotsman) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia So it's liberty Global and the Ombudsman it is then. You can't have costmers chasing you guys to sort a problem. Or having your Chat site go down. Or phones put down on them. What would happen if every Virgin media costmer refused to pay until thing to be sorted.

  • delmonifieth
derek stewart🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@delmonifieth) reported from Monifieth, Scotland

Why is the service SO POOR at VIRGIN MEDIA now, I was happy prior to this, now looking at alternatives. VERY DISAPPOINTED

  • Brackens1
Dorothy Brown 💙🇬🇧 (@Brackens1) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia No. I cannot speak to your team. It’s automated answering service only. I would like to speak to a human and book an engineer to make my £100 a month broadband package work consistently.

  • smithmum72
Emma Smith (@smithmum72) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia Yes I did and yes we had to wait 4 days to get service back, due to "something" the Monday engineer did while tidying the cables. Absolute shambles of a service.

  • badassscotsman
Jim Auld (@badassscotsman) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia when virgin media say there here to help and listen. Lol really dont listen to them is all lies. Amaxing how I lost my job because of the virus. And they would wait a few months to sort it. Switched off thanks for nothing honestly disgusting company.

  • badassscotsman
Jim Auld (@badassscotsman) reported from Dundee, Scotland

@virginmedia Web chat where you have to wait. And they never come back. Sorry did that like many many others never got anything sorted. I how have spoken to the ombudsman to try to sort this I have done the email. Spoken. And sent letter. As the ombudsman said. Still waiting to here from you.

@virginmedia Why should I DM so people cant see , sort your telephone options out make it easy press 1 for customer service bang straight in a queue and 2 for tv 3 for broadband but no you've made it so dam difficult

  • andyosb
    Andy (@andyosb) reported

@Ofcom @virginmedia did exactly the same thing to me back in 2019! It was - and still is - the worst customer service experience of my life (and I'm now 65). It was just so glad to escape them eventually. They're utter scum. Do yourself a favour & don't go anywhere near this company.

  • EricBlair820643
    101FXK101 (@EricBlair820643) reported

@kcpollock They do the very same thing in Ireland. Except the music makes you irate. They expect you to silently acquiesce to their recording. So when I have to call them, I record them but do not tell them I’m recording the call. You can be left waiting for 1 hour. They will then raise the phones hand piece from the cradle and you have to go thru’ the entire press 1 if you’d like us to speak in your left ear, press 2 if you’d like us to speak in your right ear, press three if you’d like us to speak softly, press 4 if you’d like us to speak in both ears. They are always busy, even in little tiny Ireland. I cancelled Virgin media because the hung up on me three times. I told them that this is the very last time you’ll ever hang up on me. And I cancelled my subscription.

  • kestrel89B
    Liam (@kestrel89B) reported

@itvnews To be honest it is so difficult to speak to a human at @virginmedia I'm not surprised anyone could cancel their contracts. #virginmedia

  • ChrisHa42768937
    Chris Hannon (@ChrisHa42768937) reported

@virginmedia I'll never use your company again...

  • TommyJonesUK
    Tommy Jones (@TommyJonesUK) reported

@TheGriftReport Virgin Media fined £28m for trapping customers like hostages who can’t cancel. Their service is slower than rigor mortis, but leaving? Harder than faking your own death to escape.

  • entrustTMF
    entrustTMF (@entrustTMF) reported

@aidan_codtello @virginmedia Good luck! When the service works at @virginmedia it's great-but when there's a problem you're pretty much on your own with a fanciful bunch of stories until you can finally get an engineer to pitch up. I always think that how they handle a problem is the measure of a company...

  • BarryStevens75
    Barry Stevens (@BarryStevens75) reported

@virginmedia @virginmedia message sent midday today and no response not the best customer care

  • winningearly
    Victor (@winningearly) reported

Virgin Media O2 has acknowledged that its customer service fell below expected standards during the period investigated. The company says it has since made significant improvements to its cancellation processes, customer service operations and staff training.

  • LRNA11
    LaurenA (@LRNA11) reported

@MartinSLewis Another major issue with Virgin Media (and possibly other similar providers) is that they don’t provide customers an option for “No Roll-on” at the end of the contract. Their reminders are puny and twice I got caught with paying almost double monthly rates after contract. 1/
