@virginmedia Customer service is still the poorest of all the media companies I see. Can't use live chat without it dropping out, can't phone because the menu system doesn't cover what you want to talk about. Do you even have an e mail address to contact. I have had enough!!!

  • rahim94
    Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England

At this rate, Virgin Media is gonna have to change their name because that's bound to offend some woke idiot somewhere 🙄 #BBCQT

@virginmedia @virginmedia DAY 3 WITHOUT SERVICE (Broadband, Phone and Television): I’ve received a text to say the technician who was to visit this morning has been cancelled😳 Received another text that service should be back at 4pm - it has taken Virgin 3 days to detect issues in my area??

Daniel John 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺 (@DIZZYDJC) reported from West End, England

@virginmedia It's both. I have been doing some digging and it's the upload speeds. They are not getting anywhere over 2MB /sec which is not good enough. It has been very slow over the last couple of days

  • mayonnaise65
Nicola Foster (@mayonnaise65) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia Mum has not got a mobile phone. You sent text message to her daughter. Your customer service advisor obviously lied to mum and some of your advisors need to learn to speak clearly and slowly and not talk over the customer.

  • vinnie_davis
Vinnie Davis (@vinnie_davis) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia so not only do you cut off vunerabule 90year old lady cut off from all her friends and family. potentially putting her in harm's way, not having any emergency access. You then take away her phone number, cancel her account without contacting her.

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Eastleigh, England

@virginmedia what a surprise, even after cancelling my service with you I’m still getting bills!!! I cannot believe your customer service is awful even after leaving.

  • Jeff_Otton
Jeff Otton (@Jeff_Otton) reported from Portsmouth, England

@virginmedia why it it that you can call me twice a day with some new deal? Why is it that no one in customer services believes me when I say my router is awful? I explain this to your telesales and they hang up. This is exactly why I’m leaving. Very poor customer service.

  • unhippyman

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Eastleigh, England

@virginmedia So I won’t have 4+ months of grief, demands for an account that is cancelled and debt collectors letters for that account then? That’s a relief as your behaviour with my account has worn me down whilst grieving for my Dad but it’s not stopped you….

@virginmedia why does my online account have a button telling me to look at my renewal offers but when I click on it I get 'customer exclusion' in the address bar and get told to call? 70ish days until my contract ends

  • TruthAsylum121
    (Re)Search & Destroy (@TruthAsylum121) reported

THREAD 5 — VODAFONE, BT AND THE TELECOMS NETWORK The French side is only part of the story. In Britain, telecommunications companies have developed programmes providing connectivity through charities and other organisations supporting people experiencing digital exclusion. Vodafone is one of the clearest examples. Its charities.connected programme provides participating charities with SIM cards carrying data, calls and texts. Vodafone has documented the scheme being used by organisations supporting refugees and asylum seekers. Then there is BT. This is different because it isn’t a charitable donation. In March 2024, the Home Office awarded BT a £528,000 contract for data-only SIM cards for asylum seekers. The contract was procured by the Home Office team responsible for asylum support, resettlement and non-detained accommodation. And this is only part of the corporate network. Virgin Media O2 is involved in the National Databank, Community Calling and technology-lending programmes. Three is another major National Databank connectivity partner. The technology companies aren’t operating in isolation. They connect into a much wider system. And that brings us to the National Databank.
