@virginmedia change 2 fiber,its the next best thing.Well unfortunately since we have changed Internet 2 urself its been absolutely the worst decision made.Previous Internet with Vodafone no problem with kids playing their computer upstairs now im lucky is i get WiFi at all

@virginmedia I rang after the email and they assured me they have applied a discount and would stay the same price for my contract. I agreed a fix price and if that's not what I got then I have been lied too, which is a miss sale and the ombudsman will be contacted, again.

@virginmedia Ffs YOU try calling that number and tell me if you get through to somebody. I’ve tried god knows how many times and I just get a machine telling me you’re busy and that I “might like to call again later” every, single time. Your level of service is a joke.

@virginmedia I’ve been trying to contact your call centre for 15 minutes and I’ve tried all the options and I can’t get through to ANYONE!! I want to cancel my contract and it doesn’t give you the option online to do so!! Can someone cancel it from your social media team?

@virginmedia So why do you not have a chat system? I work in a similar industry and we are able to help our customer through chat, phone, online, social media it’s crazy a company of the size of virgin media can’t accommodate us. Not having a go at you I’m just disappointed in the system

@virginmedia No it hasn't. The installation date is 20th April. I am assuming this other appointment is the initial groundwork you do prior to the installation. It says "service request" on the appointment. I just checking that I don't need to be at home for this?

@virginmedia Have run tests and comes back nothing wrong but the service in-house tells me different. I regularly reset the hub to try and rectify and have checked all cables but no joy - can u book an engineer

@virginmedia Thanks for the help but still not optimistic, when I've moved I've always took my equipment and plugged it in before contacting VM so I was sure the signal has not been disconnected outside. It was the same for this move, TV worked but Internet not, I think it's something else.

@virginmedia I have no idea. I notice occasionally when the V6 box is on the network light comes on, on the box. The box is connected via Ethernet cable. Is it a case of to many devices connected via WiFi or is it a hub problem?
