@_JC8 @virginmedia @virginmedia Hi can somebody please contact me regarding an issue I have with my virgin account please?

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Eastleigh, England

@virginmedia Im only unwilling to use the chat as after today’s conversation by phone with the 2 departments I got told could sort out my issue & they couldn’t I am emotionally broken.

  • leeradcliffe73
lee Radcliffe (@leeradcliffe73) reported from Southampton, England

@VMO2News @virginmedia @goodthingsfdn All the money we pay for this awful broadband is a joke. Oh just get the plug in booster for an extra £5 a month this will help!!! 2m from the router and can’t even send this. 3G is better than virgin. Bring on toob 🕺🏻

  • rahim94
    Rahim™ 🇬🇧🇲🇦 (@rahim94) reported from Southampton, England

Oh it's broadband price hike time again!! You can almost guarantee @virginmedia will try and increase the broadband prices by more than the CPI figures, then drop it back down as soon as you phone up and mention the word "Sky" EVERY. BLOODY. TIME. #MartinLewis

  • PandaKingPinder
Panda 🐼 (@PandaKingPinder) reported from Romsey, England

@virginmedia The issue is some of the ports in the back don't work, we get occasional dips in the internet's which some days don't reach the amount we pay for and the webpage says we can upgrade our hub but can only be done on the phone to see we can't get hold of anyone.

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England

@virginmedia I guarantee you they cannot help. I call every day, usually spending over an hour on the phone. The pre-installs team only promise me a call back from someone who can help, within 24-48hrs. The call back never comes, despite further requests for this to happen. Explain that?

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England

@virginmedia The same live date of the 21st still stands. Virgin have repeatedly guaranteed they’ll get it ready for then. Perhaps you can give them a nudge to let them know they have 3 days to get the outside work done. I’m sensing another let down, and I bet you won’t do anything about it!

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Eastleigh, England

@sfc_rich @virginmedia You’re absolutely right. Cancelled my account in July yet they’re still billing me claiming they’ve no record of my phone call OR letter. Refuse to cancel my account unless I pay £101.50 which now has gone up to £148.50. #neverlisten #zerocustomerservice

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England

@virginmedia You’re not helping. You’re asking the same questions you ask every day. Yes, complaint raised. No, Virgin have given no reason why they keep cancelling. Next you’ll tell me you can’t do anything to help, which is exactly what your customer services say

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Romsey, England

@virginmedia This has already been dealt with yea, we’re continuing just because it feels as if we’ve waited too long to cancel now. Plus, Virgin are crediting me £5.35 for every day of delay that they’ve caused (55 days and counting).

  • Beaumont296
Marls 🐝 (@Beaumont296) reported from Bursledon, England

@virginmedia waited in yesterday for the engineer to come sort my faulty WiFi. No show. Same with the lead that’s still lying outside in the street that is a trip hazard. Everyone needs to be aware how truly awful your internet service is!!

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia Your resolution to this is for me to pay you money for a service I don’t use as I cancelled it. How is that a resolution? You are just not listening to me.

  • formula1girl
Sarah-Jane Finch (@formula1girl) reported from Eastleigh, England

@sfc_rich @virginmedia They literally don’t care. They are my Dads provider too so I’m going to have the same issues when his house is sold. I’ve never, ever dealt with such sheer incompetence in my life!

  • MikeWalker2012
Mike Walker (@MikeWalker2012) reported from Fareham, England

@virginmedia Honestly, I tried contacting customer support & they didn't care, so I don't think there's anything further you can do, the functionality of 360 is hopeless, doesn't come anywhere near as good as the old TiVo box. I just need to dump the overpriced VM service as soon as possible.

  • Ben78Ben
Ben Hall (@Ben78Ben) reported from Havant, England

@virginmedia broadband and tv is down in the PO9 area, please do better happens way too often

  • Mr_PaintPots
David Wright (@Mr_PaintPots) reported from Southampton, England

@virginmedia Thank you for responding, one of your team has now picked this up so fingers crossed someone gets in touch. Why have you made it so difficult to get support? Can you not provide an obvious option on your website please?

  • komal_helyer
Komal Helyer (@komal_helyer) reported from Waterlooville, England

Why @virginmedia did it take 6 hours to downgrade our package to just broadband on your chat functionality. We got there eventually.. but not after multiple upsell tries and much frustration. It's like the poor person on the end of the chat only makes money when he upsells...

  • Rob_Mcgimpsey
Rob Mcgimpsey (@Rob_Mcgimpsey) reported from Ampfield, England

@virginmedia The installation is still not complete! That’s the problem. Virgin was ordered on 2nd oct. First install was planned on 17/10 and then cancelled by Virgin. Virgin have cancelled 8-10 times since. It’s now 08/12! 52 days and counting

@virginmedia I'll try to sign in with a different email address.

@virginmedia our internet is down as is our neighbours. Online it says issue with our hub but followed all instructions and still says issue. Online says no outages but both ours and neighbours are down. They have engineer booked for tomorrow but I need internet now

  • cleggy1966
    Simon (@cleggy1966) reported

@virginmedia Yes, and there is no issue showing

  • fatscholes76
    Fatscholes76 🇺🇦 (@fatscholes76) reported

@virginmedia intermittent service in the area yet no sign of any engineers sorting issues. How long will this go on?

  • keithapearson
    Keith A Pearson (@keithapearson) reported

@virginmedia Still waiting on your chat agent - to say he/she is incompetent would be the mother of all understatements. And yes, I've tried calling in the past, and that experience was so frustratingly pointless that I'm never trying again.

  • LaraMitchard
    Lara Mitchard (@LaraMitchard) reported

@virginmedia There seems to be a broadband issue in HP1 as I have no services and your outage page has identified an issue. Any idea how long this will be down?
