@ScotsSaboteur @DeMcbot @virginmedia Supposedly fixed then went down again.

  • Scottish720 Scottish (@Scottish720) reported from Skinflats, Scotland

@virginmedia I don’t know how you can send out a letter that says our prices are going up but won’t effect you till the end of the of your current price fix /contact then we called up to enquire about it to find out it would actually go up in may absolutely ridiculous

  • louham74 Louise Hamilton (@louham74) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland

@virginmedia I just phoned again and was told they cannot order for me. So close to just cancelling this shoddy service 🤬

  • louham74 Louise Hamilton (@louham74) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland

@virginmedia your customer service is shocking! A sure way to loose customers 🤬🤬🤬

  • DegsyScott Degsy (@DegsyScott) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland

Great… working from home and @virginmedia broadband goes down again. It’s become very erratic service in the last 12 months… what the hell as we paying premium prices for fast fibre if it can’t be reliable… with more price rises ahead

  • MekQuarrie Ian MacQuarrie (@MekQuarrie) reported from Cumbernauld, Scotland

Anyone else experiencing terrible broadband with @virginmedia right now? Getting into a second week now... 🤷

  • F_Dev1888 FD (@F_Dev1888) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

@virginmedia They said credit will be applied but can’t do it just now as the system is down. 🤔 @Ofcom

  • dreamingisfree Laura Barbour (@dreamingisfree) reported from Bo’ness, Scotland

service agent who tells me an appointment is scheduled for the 15th November. Shall I laugh or scream? 7 weeks with no WiFi? @virginmedia (2)

  • dreamingisfree Laura Barbour (@dreamingisfree) reported from Bo’ness, Scotland

@virginmedia It is now almost four weeks since I have had broadband. The technician who came out 11 days ago assured me the “dig team” would be out in the next day or two. Having now spent approximately 738 hours trying to contact you, I have finally spoken to a customer (1)

  • DegsyScott Derek Scott (@DegsyScott) reported from Grangemouth, Scotland

@benjitindz @virginmedia To be fair, the speed is the best option and I’m on 250mbps whereas the best I’d get on ADSL is 10-34mbps. Agreed, customer service is worse than a RyanAir equivalent

  • AG_Developer Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

God damn it @virginmedia, another day another outage. This is becoming a really really sick joke. Just because most people sleep at night doesn't mean others like me don't have work to do

  • DNSandilands David Sandilands (@DNSandilands) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

@virginmedia Yeah but then I realised you can't use a 192.168.1.x network with the hub either 🙃 so sadly into modem mode it goes.

  • AG_Developer Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

@virginmedia Unfortunately no. I've spoken to multiple agents all day and an engineer is scheduled for tomorrow. If it isn't intermittent outage, it's a massive speed decrease (currently getting 50Mbps down/3Mbps up on a Gig1 line, usually 800Mbps down/55Mbps up)

  • AG_Developer Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

@virginmedia Is there any ETA on issue resolution?

  • AG_Developer Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland

Come on @virginmedia, this is getting ridiculous now. Been without Internet for over 24hrs - ever since yesterday's maintenance at 9am. Still not got my Oomph unlimited data to help ease the pain either and no ETA on fix. This is beyond silly.

  • iainmcm1 iain mcmillan (@iainmcm1) reported from Glenochil Village, Scotland

One hour two minutes and got hung up thanks virgin media customer service is really 💩💩💩

  • iainmcm1 iain mcmillan (@iainmcm1) reported from Glenochil Village, Scotland

    @izzwoz @virginmedia Its terrible service

  • iainmcm1 iain mcmillan (@iainmcm1) reported from Glenochil Village, Scotland

@virginmedia is there a problem with phone lines as been trying for one & half hoours to get through to speak to a person also if i press 1 it sends me text telling me to go online i want to cancel my contract so need to speak to a person

  • YvonneGHarley Yvonne Harley 🤘🏻🎶☠️ (@YvonneGHarley) reported from Glenochil Village, Scotland

When you watch the status updates from @virginmedia and it goes past the planned resolution time - when working from home becomes a challenge- eta now tomorrow so that’ll have been nearly 30 hours with no service #workingfromhomechallenges

@virginmedia Tried that & the sign in link takes me to the same Skysports app page that does not work

  • aquarius16th Neil Walley💙🇺🇦 (@aquarius16th) reported

@virginmedia Yes, I have always been able to watch Skysports on my android tablet, until after the recent security update. For info, I can sign in to Skysports app via Virgin TV UK link on my mobile. Seems to be isolated to my tablet. I have unistalled & reinstalled the skysports app

  • aquarius16th Neil Walley💙🇺🇦 (@aquarius16th) reported

@virginmedia No, not on my Android tablet as I am unable to reach the 'Virgin TV UK' sign in page. Pressing the button on the sign in page has no functionality. However, I can watch Skysports content on my laptop by normal signing in.

  • DavexPatrick Dave Patrick (@DavexPatrick) reported

@virginmedia Email is now sorted but I still can’t log into my virgin media on my iPad I either get a blank white screen or the timing logo .. is this still an ongoing issue?

  • aquarius16th Neil Walley💙🇺🇦 (@aquarius16th) reported

@virginmedia Yes, My Virginmedia & TVGo apps are working as normal. I believe it is a broken link on the Skysports sign in page. The Virgin TV UK button to enable me to sign in does not work.

  • HiyaItsRhiann Rhiann (@HiyaItsRhiann) reported

@virginmedia having serious problems linking virgin media account to virgin media O2 ID account - correct email used despite it telling me it’s not and I have an email to confirm 02 account is linked to virgin account - very frustrating - please help!!

  • aquarius16th Neil Walley💙🇺🇦 (@aquarius16th) reported

@virginmedia Unfortunately I am still unable to reach the sign in page via 'virgin tv uk' button on Skysports app. I have cleared the app data/cache & even reinstalled. All to no avail.

  • dishesrdone74 Chris Denton (@dishesrdone74) reported

@virginmedia Done that. Still get into anything that requires a virgin media sign in.

  • dishesrdone74 Chris Denton (@dishesrdone74) reported

@virginmedia Yes I've tried this many times but can't get past the email verification link page which puts me back to the last Internet page I was on. So I can't sign into anything that requires a virgin media sign in. Still stuck.

  • No_Bikers The EA 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇸🇮🇱 #FBAH (@No_Bikers) reported

@virginmedia Thanks, there was nothing listed. However I discovered via local media there was a major outage near Dumbarton, however there was nothing on the website or app. The call centre didn't know either. Lasted most of the day. Pretty poor Comms.
