-
TDR-Dazabelle 👑 (@DarrenMcGuigan5) reported from Dennistoun, ScotlandAnyone else having issues with @virginmedia today I can't get online no signal Nada
-
Hugh Moan 💙 (@weeshug72) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia why just you just call me under the guise of "offering me a discount on my services" then offer me a deal that means me paying for an extra service I don't currently use or want?
-
David A (@tofolo_1) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia Are you kidding? I am not paying 30p a minute to call you. The contact us page says webchat but no link? It also says some text service but no number? Are you also just making it impossible to get in touch. If this becomes any harder to set up billing I will cancel....
-
don mackeen (@donmackeen) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia The service checker tells me either nothing, or - as in the screenshot - something completely contradictory. There is no way to communicate with anyone and yet, strangely enough, you still charge me for a service which only works intermittently.
-
Anne Marie McPhee (@nuttynanaannie) reported from Motherwell, Scotland@virginmedia Thanks. I'll try that. When I do a status check it flags Tivo right away but shows no issues with broadband or phone when I then run a broadband check it says there's an intermittent fault in my area. !
-
dios mio la creatura 🏳️🌈🇺🇦 (@lordofanywhere) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia is a complete and utter joke in Glasgow. Apparently there is a fault and won’t be resolved until January 5th. On Twitter, they redirect us to the service status page, which is “experience some problems” and we can’t check service status. Compensation is in order.
-
Alexander Adair 🌙 (@AlexxAdair) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia It wont even let me run a speed test. When I go to status check it says no problem found but when I call I says intermittent issues??
-
Willem_Wikkelspies (@spongebath63) reported from Dennistoun, Scotland@virginmedia What is going on with your customer care(?) line? I call 789, I get an automated voice telling me that calls are not being connected to this number and I'm told to call 789 to speak to a member of the team, so i call 789, I get an automated voice.........!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
David A (@tofolo_1) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia how do I contact the help team? Recently joined and trying to setup billing / online account says to call you. But 0345 is 30p a minute. Can't find webchat, can't find text thing, don't have a live landline yet. I can access the dark web easier!
-
Andrew Bradley (@AndrewTOG) reported from Glasgow, ScotlandWell no @F1 the. Thanks to @virginmedia failing and not connecting. No customer support open and no response online… what dark age company is this ?
-
David Sandilands (@DNSandilands) reported from Falkirk, Scotland@virginmedia Yeah but then I realised you can't use a 192.168.1.x network with the hub either 🙃 so sadly into modem mode it goes.
-
Anne Marie McPhee (@nuttynanaannie) reported from Motherwell, Scotland@virginmedia Hi, no, it initially says no issues in area on testing hub it says there's an intermittent problem with connection and come back in 18 hours!
-
bristian cungay (@ChristianBunga7) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia The ‘step by step help’ doesn’t help. It tells me thing I already know - restart hub check connections, reset.
-
don mackeen (@donmackeen) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia had the technician come out today after days of patchy service. Got the hub changed, and ... Service still terrible. And now I'm to wait "24 hours"...
-
Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland@virginmedia Unfortunately no. I've spoken to multiple agents all day and an engineer is scheduled for tomorrow. If it isn't intermittent outage, it's a massive speed decrease (currently getting 50Mbps down/3Mbps up on a Gig1 line, usually 800Mbps down/55Mbps up)
-
wolfofwhickham (@wolfofwhickham) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia Weeks ago and everyone nothing shows on the tracking.... its a basic issue that needs resolving can u assist direct ? Need to have some good service from you as today this will be putting people off and I'm certainly not recommending you as it stands
-
Anne Marie McPhee (@nuttynanaannie) reported from Motherwell, Scotland@virginmedia OK. That's fine . Every time I service check my broadband it tells me there's a fault in my area and its being investigated and to come back in 24 hours and it will be looked into but when I do this it just gives the same response . Its very confusing. And not very helpful at.
-
Arek Kwapis (@AG_Developer) reported from Falkirk, Scotland@virginmedia Is there any ETA on issue resolution?
-
Loraine Riddick (@LoraineRiddick2) reported from Glasgow, Scotland@virginmedia I’ve phoned numerous times and had to hang up as constantly kept waiting, but will try again this evening when it might be easier to speak to someone
-
Gary Francolini (@GaryFrancolini) reported from Glenmavis, Scotland@Ofcom this is not the first time we’ve had issues with @virginmedia and they never seem to investigate complaints properly. Any advice on what we can do about this?

-
Jackson Lamb’s Coat (@ape_steinUK) reported@Stsantek @virginmedia Virgin are poisonous. We have 1 GB, we’re lucky if we get half that, hard wired. The patronising pleb on the phone said “you must be too far away from the router” I’ve just had a renewal quote for 48.99 a month but a new customer can get it 29.99 (on the website as we speak) Scum
-
SUFI (@SlientPixel) reported@InternetH0F I mean in the uk literally a week ago one of our virgin media got fined 28m for making hard to cancel
-
Jonathan H (@howdo01) reported@virginmedia What with the losing channels right left and center, pass few months seen about 5-6 channels, latest one That's TV, price up, channels down, what are you replacing them with, Rewind would be a good one to start with.
-
estevén (@superpaddiepads) reported@LessGrumpy @virginmedia Exactly that. The quality of the broadband has never been an issue but the customer service is almost non existent. But when you base that offshore it does tend to be the case. Very polite but utterly useless.
-
mike duncan (@mikedun95307737) reported@virginmedia Trying to resolve not being be able to see account details on app every time log goes to order details. Tried web messaging about as much use as a chocolate ashtray. Does the service have to be activated before you can see all account elements in app.
-
steveo (@fluffybubbles73) reportedIf you are ever thinking about changing internet providers , unless it’s the only one left in the world never ever get @virginmedia it’s customer service is worse than awful
-
Phil (@Bowtomephil) reported@Stsantek @virginmedia The worst of it is that the 28m fine will not be distributed to all those it affected. OFCOM will use it to pay their CEO etc a large bonus.
-
b (@ihavejordans) reported@BobbyMan747 @Virgin Personally i was thinking of making the switch to Virgin Media, but the last couple of weeks i have been hearing a lot of this. I thought they had sorted out their issues, but it appears they haven't.
-
Kathy Miller (@KathyMi25429227) reported@virginmedia Please cancel engineer visit that I did not ask for...I do not have time to spend another 25 mins on hold
-
Q🍒𒉭🐆 (@quiquisworld) reportedFam I was moved to in a&e and by the guy that came to fix my wifi by virgin media they should be more afraid
