Hi @virginmedia I have to wait 72 hours to speak to a manager about an issue. This is after 5 hours on the phone to you and only a manager can authorise what I need. Shocking considering the amount of money we pay you. We have no working broadband for a 2 key worker house

@VisctFishpond @virginmedia I had similar problems to you; got the runaround from Virgin. Lots of research done and the issue is almost certainly the router. You can buy a third-party router and turn the virgin router into a modem. Solved all my problems. Worth a try.

@virginmedia You do realise that the majority of messages sent to you are people complaining that your Wi-Fi is very poor? So perhaps concentrate on that for existing clients rather than pushing new sales? Poor router is the issue. #slowerfaraway

@AdamDea29742908 @virginmedia But buying one between £50 and £200 will probably suit most and if it turns out it doesn’t solve your problems it hasn’t broken the bank. I went for an Asus one at about £120. Netgear is another strong brand. I had poor WiFi for years and it was a massive improvement. 2/2

@StMirrenDaft @virginmedia @mat_fraser One of the key issues is their router. It’s rubbish and has programming which means main signal isn’t direct for WiFi. I had this problem; buy another router and turn Virgin one into modem. It solved my problem.

@Lindzell_LFC @virginmedia It’s their router. All the calls in the world won’t change the problem. You can buy a new router abs connect it to the Virgin one. Worked for me.

@virginmedia so I’ve had three weeks of hub issues 3 engineers out I tell you how to fix the issue but ignored 3rd manager to promise call backs and got nothing had 3 days wasted of my time and down service. Getting very 😡 when big companys disrespect their long term customers

@virginmedia WiFi isn’t a 100% but tv is working fine. I’m pretty sure that I am paying too much for just WiFi and tv, on my account says I have a phone line which I never had??

@virginmedia @mouthwaite Hi John; just jumping in on this. You really need to start advising customers properlyit doesn’t matter how many technicians visit it won’t solve the problem of the poor standard router and your default settings.

@virginmedia I have a deadlock letter (even though i'm still a paying customer). That's my issue - after ten years as a customer you just dropped me and passed me to the financial ombudsman. Who cant advise. Talk about reasons to leave. Could you just send me a phone so i can be a customer??

@virginmedia I was told by the person I spoke with assured me that virgin would have had a record of the days my property was disconnected, and that compensation would be offered. Customer service does not seem to have this information.

@virginmedia I spoke with the team via Twitter on 28 September in order to remediate the issue, and then the person I spoke to said I would be paid compensation for all the days missed. I've followed this up with customer service and they are claiming they do not owe this compensation.

@virginmedia Instead I’m this difficult time @virginmedia should help out loyal customers by giving some discounts those been with virgin media over the years but instead got slapped by virgin media -I urge virgin media to look at this matter with catholicity of vision and help customers out.
