  • andie1105 Andrea Hodgkinson 💚 (@andie1105) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

@virginmedia You are doing exactly the same as the people in the phone. Pretending to help but telling me to call the same number. You’re just sending me round in circles. Your customer service is terrible. It’s a complete waste of time!

  • ajmason1986 Mason (@ajmason1986) reported from Carlton on Trent, England

Are we going to be reimbursed for this down time @virginmedia #virginmobile

  • arnoldbiker Andy Whitley (@arnoldbiker) reported from Mansfield Woodhouse, England

Hey @virginmedia I've been attempting to cancel my TV package now on 3 separate occasions. Just been told its an hour phone wait to cancel with no call back facility. Bet its not that long to wait if you want to join...

  • mjlappo Mikey Lappin (@mjlappo) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

@virginmedia Thank you for getting back to me. I wanted to look at changing my package, however given the level of customer service I feel it’s best to move to another provider. I should be getting a call back from a Manager today. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

  • JaceFowler Jason Fowler (@JaceFowler) reported from Annesley, England

@virginmedia absolute joke, on hold for 1 hour and 8 mins to tell u that I wanna leave for shit service

  • ianday79 ian day (@ianday79) reported from Carlton on Trent, England

@virginmedia Cannot believe how badly we've been treated!! Shocking service! We have an open complaint yet no one has contacted us. 240minutes on the phone and no one knew what to do! Now have no TV or Internet for three days!

  • jothornley22 Jo Thornley (@jothornley22) reported from Farndon, England

@virginmedia you clearly don't want my business. Want to take up your new offer for full package. Have phoned 3 times & advised only outbound team can deal. Been on hold again for over an hour tonight and online chat agent can't help. Can't waste any more time on this - #poor 😡

  • mjlangrish MJL (@mjlangrish) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

Impressive that @virginmedia customer service is so bad that by the time you get past the 20 minute hold they’ve closed!!

  • sibonski Londoner (of House Targaryen) (@sibonski) reported from Carlton on Trent, England

@virginmedia make me an offer; TV and Broadband (BT are crap)

  • Frizzx PriPri (@Frizzx) reported from Mansfield Woodhouse, England

@virginmedia I’ve sorted it now after being on hold for over an hour, was then told they couldn’t help with my issue, and for me to then ring back 30 minutes later and have Someone sort my issue out in minutes.

  • chriskeeton Chris (@chriskeeton) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

@alandavies1 @virginmedia That's an incredibly accurate description of my experience as well. Not only do they pass you from pillar to post, and know nothing about what each has told the customer, they also don't acknowledge anything UK customer center tells you. You're called a liar and no one helps.

  • BenjaminBoothe Benji (@BenjaminBoothe) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

@virginmedia are very sorry that it is the customers fault that they can no longer provide a service in the area they're moving to. Because of this it's ok 2 charge a customer an early disconnection fee even if they don't wish 2 cancel. Virgin Media I respect your hustle👏🏿👏🏿 😂😂

  • BalSanghera Bal Sanghera (@BalSanghera) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

@Ofcom @virginmedia Low and behold I got a SMS stating they identified a network issue and it has now been resolved. Really wish @virginmedia trained thier call centre agents better. Back online thanks👍

  • andie1105 Andrea Hodgkinson 💚 (@andie1105) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

@virginmedia No I wasn’t. The customer service girl seemed very unsure as to how to proceed. I explained more than once that it was brand new. I explained my neighbour had VM and I connect to a hotspot when outside.

  • gm6016 Gareth Morgan (@gm6016) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

Wifi down again for third time in two weeks. Not good enough @virginmedia.

  • ambassador_phil Phil Tomlinson (@ambassador_phil) reported from Nottinghamshire, England

@virginmedia You are quite simply not listening to my complaint. Thank you but let’s end this convo and I will phone ‘customer retention’.

Virgin Media Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • NoTotiNoParty . (@NoTotiNoParty) reported

@virginmedia No area issue It's a new installation the guy I spoke to yesterday said it was something your end and he's passing it to the team he said it'd be done within a few hours still nothing been on the phone for hour and no ones picking up not a great start really

  • Ben_fisher Brendon fisher (@Ben_fisher) reported

Why is is so bloody hard the cancel @virginmedia broadband. Out of contract at the end of the month, an hour to give 30 days notice and still the call centre is insisting on tying to up-sale, how many times do we need to say PLEASE CANCEL. Now resorted to cancelling by letter.

  • purple_dragon25 kelly (she/her) (neurodiv.) (@purple_dragon25) reported

@Angela_Griffin @virginmedia No issues here with plusnet. Great service, they really look after me.

  • SueDawes9 Sue Dawes (@SueDawes9) reported

@virginmedia I realise this, you could offer a direct contact so my issues can be addressed rather than a generic number. Where I’m placed on hold yet again, go through security and then to be transferred and wait again. All a considerable drain on my time with no account for my commitments

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It works intermittently. When I speak to an advisor they fix the issue at that moment. Then, the next day it’ll cut out again and the process repeats. It was working when the engineer left, but it didn’t last 24 hours. Intermittent isn’t good enough. I rely on you for work.

  • SueDawes9 Sue Dawes (@SueDawes9) reported

@virginmedia @virginmedia I can do so as I have no choice. Your answer once again highlights the extremely poor customer service. I’ve already told you it’s taken 2 months. Due to your system failings you ask me to call YOU and no recognition that your service has fallen short. Classic !!

  • SueDawes9 Sue Dawes (@SueDawes9) reported

@virginmedia Example 1 On Friday 30 Sept I waited from 7pm with for agent to connect to my call. It didn’t happen no apology or even a message to say it was a dropped call as you close at 9pm. Had to go through process all over again the following day when you had issues. I have more examples

  • _bethanwi bethanwi (@_bethanwi) reported

@virginmedia It’s an issue on all devices. Ethernet connection isn’t really relevant to test because all of our devices rely on Wi-Fi. We have about 3 devices using it at once max, but usually it’s one at a time (either the TV/PS5) we always use our phones on 4G because of how awful it is

  • _AdamGardiner Adam Gardiner 💙 (@_AdamGardiner) reported from Sale, England

@virginmedia It’s everything connected via Wi-Fi. I don’t have the connect app. I check for service status on your website and it usually says there isn’t an issue, but that doesn’t reflect my service.

  • notrag21 The Notrag (@notrag21) reported

@virginmedia is there a known issue for virgin media internet customers, connecting to the playstation network?
