@virginmedia Doing it again tonight! It’s like 5pm comes and all speed disappears, tonight both download and upload are impacted! Throttling I understand for network reasons but there’s something else happening here

@virginmedia My mum and dad are having issues with you guys. The broadband has been very slow yet they pay for 350, the upload speed is half the download which says it all. A technician came out and tried to install a new TiVo box, they have been charged £30 even though he didn’t

@virginmedia The postcode check shows no issue but, when there are two engineers (I hope) outside fiddling in the junction box and my hardware test says there’s no signal coming in I imaging it’s probably ***** for now. Really not ideal...

@virginmedia They have not even acknowledged my complaint. Not even a “we are looking into this “ the only replies I’ve had have been your platitudes.

@jbjon @virginmedia Fix by 7pm or so the service status page says... I’m not counting my chickens, TBH. 4G tethering seems to be pretty swift for now.

@virginmedia I've been suffering from 20-40% packet loss on my broadband for 2 weeks now, I've called up the service team multiple times and I've been given a different date on which it will be fixed 28th,29th,31st and now the 4th I'd like some clarity with what's happening

@gm8arv @2m0sql @M0VGA @SOTAbeams @TalkTalk @virginmedia The VM system I have here causes no problems from DC to 23cm (as high as I go currently) the only issue I had was when I tried using a mains data network from Argos and it destroyed 6m. Scrapped once identified.

@timmy5686 @virginmedia Yeah been there before, the complaint takes just as long but they prob will not charge you for the downtime and call it compensation. Good luck in getting it sorted 😊

@virginmedia I repeat. I have made my complaint through your website, the bit where it says “make a complaint”. Perhaps you could explain why I need to make the same complaint twice. I take no joy from discussing this on an open forum either, I want a response from someone who can help.

Isn't it ironic, that when you do a special stream, @virginmedia always seems to go down... I'll try again tomorrow!

@virginmedia Then you can continue imagining how disappointed I am and look forward to my cancelling your contract at the 1st available opportunity. I, on the other hand, can only imagine that your competitors enjoy your customer service standards far more than I have.

@virginmedia Oh see, it’s up to me to chase you is it. I hadn’t realised that the delay in you contacting me was all my fault. I’ve logged my complaint (48 hours now) and still heard nothing back. Good to see Ofcom are on the ball.

@virginmedia I just want to report an open cabinet on my street, and it's hard work, I don't want to sign up to your "community" as I have tried now twice and had to do the damn not a robot thing both times which takes ages and it says my email is not valid

@virginmedia It appears the issue may have at last been fixed. Mohamed came yesterday and he was fantastic, such a contrast with last engineer who just left after two mins without doing anything. VM would really appreciate a speed bump to make up for nearly two weeks of disservice.

@virginmedia Further, we had an electrician in and so the power got turned off then on several times. Could the router have suffered due to this? That is when issues roughly began.
