@virginmedia The postcode check shows no issue but, when there are two engineers (I hope) outside fiddling in the junction box and my hardware test says there’s no signal coming in I imaging it’s probably ***** for now. Really not ideal...

@virginmedia There is no fault listed on the website yet when we call we get an automated message saying there's been problems in our area, we can't even use the internet due to the connection being awful

@virginmedia We've also never used the phone line or number, so not happy to pay for a service that we only ever had to facilitate Virgin services that we cancelled in July. Had just assumed keeping the number would make life easier! How wrong I was!

Today's @virginmedia update: I've had 2 separate phone calls from different members of the Customer Retention Team asking if I want to sign back up with them or add any other services to the open phone line. Errrrr..... NO! 😡

@virginmedia I have attempted to upgrade my package via phone at 9.30 this morning and was informed that the requested would be done “ within the hour “ Over four hours later I’m still waiting, tried to call back and gave up after 25 minutes on hold. Help !

@virginmedia Hey there! Thanks for replying. No I waited another 40 mins and then gave up - I rang this morning but of course I’ve had to go to work and they can’t help me unless at home lol. I was upgraded to 200mb but only ever get 40 (once 212!) :(

@jbjon @virginmedia Fix by 7pm or so the service status page says... I’m not counting my chickens, TBH. 4G tethering seems to be pretty swift for now.

@virginmedia I've been suffering from 20-40% packet loss on my broadband for 2 weeks now, I've called up the service team multiple times and I've been given a different date on which it will be fixed 28th,29th,31st and now the 4th I'd like some clarity with what's happening

@gm8arv @2m0sql @M0VGA @SOTAbeams @TalkTalk @virginmedia The VM system I have here causes no problems from DC to 23cm (as high as I go currently) the only issue I had was when I tried using a mains data network from Argos and it destroyed 6m. Scrapped once identified.

@martin_eve Didn't notice, was asleep for once. When ppl on local FB complain about virginmedia it is almost always the crap WiFi from crap hubs. I put ours into modem-only mode and got Google Nest WiFi to blanket house in stable WiFi. Recommend, if you've already given Google your life.

@DemonTraitor @virginmedia They’ve not paid a bill. You don’t have a nation wide issue like this with redundancy systems and fail overs in place that would allow a hack to similar to work. This is a they’ve not paid a bill and a service provider has turned something off.

So, I suspect, that as a VM customer with no issues my end…. And it being a National outage it’s one of 3 things 1. Routing issue with a link off the VM network 2. The cleaner unplugged the internet 3. DNS servers < I think it’s this … 1/2 #virginmedia

@virginmedia Virgin got my direct debit ammount wrong for 7 months despite ringing every month and being passed round , the customer service is a disgrace , loyal customers get no incentive to stay , not suprised people don’t continue with their services
