-
Serenium (@serenium) reported from Stafford, England
@williamtm @virginmedia So virgin media don’t support it then. that is not “nothing supports it” Yell at virgin. BT is fine, although they do need to differentiate their treatment of ipv4 vs ipv6 icmp in their default firewall rules
-
Glenn Arnold (@MrBlitzed) reported from Rugeley, England
@virginmedia So now I can't get into my account YET AGAIN to pay my bill. I changed my password but now I'm told I only have a secondary account and can't access billing. I went through all this crap last year and had a nightmare with your woeful call centre. Had enough now.

LordBeerHunter 🇪🇺 (@LordBeerHunter) reported from Stafford, England
Really getting sick of @virginmedia's shocking service. Yet more dropouts. No doubt this will inspire them to post the usual useless scripted bs response.
-
Mike Hillman (@photo_bloke) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia If you really wanted me to stay and you valued me as a customer you would have respected my original request when i was first called and we wouldn't be here now Learn the lessons from this - do what customers ask show them some respect and stop bothering them with unwanted calls
-
Wie-Men Ho (@WieMenHo) reported from Lichfield, England
@virginmedia Again, why is it so complicated. Designed to frustrate the customer and so they stick with the more expensive package. Your team member could not understand my basic request, which is very concerning. Listen back to the call. Play it to @ofcom they have my consent to listen to it
-
Serenium (@serenium) reported from Stafford, England
@williamtm @virginmedia 1&1, bt, EE, sky, zen and talk talk all support v6 afaik. The ONLY major (by number of subscribers) ISP that doesn’t is virgin. The smallest of the big 4 is talk talk and numbers 5-10 of the top 10 added together are still half the size of talk talk.

Emily-jaye collins. (@EmzeeJaye) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia all of yesterday and still today I have no internet. It's been switched off, reset etc. Last month I went nearly a week without service. This needs resolving or I'm leaving.
-
Wie-Men Ho (@WieMenHo) reported from Lichfield, England
Shocking telephone service @virginmedia - want to reduce my TV package. Don’t want movies or BT sports any more. Can’t tell me what package I would move on to. Whether I lose any other channels or even if I lose HD channels.
-
LordBeerHunter 🇪🇺 (@LordBeerHunter) reported from Stafford, England
Here we go again @virginmedia, no WiFi randomly again! Although hardly ransom, it's a regular occurance. About time to stopped charging until you can provide a 24/7 service.
-
Mike Hillman (@photo_bloke) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia (3/3) I trust that when I call to cancel and switch, the call will be straightforward with no fuss and will be less than 2 minutes with no drawn out attempts to get me to stay
-
Amrit Pahal (@AmritPahal) reported from Walsall Wood, England
@virginmedia absolutely pathetic service, trying to run a business that relies on taking cards payments,I switched to you for the secureness of the line over fibre, since I’ve switched I’ve had more down time than standard internet! Callled up told nothing can be done until 9am!!
-
Denise Powell (@PPowellfamily) reported from Barlaston, England
@virginmedia 2 houses in the same street no Internet or broadband. Your call centre claims the fault to be in my home. #3rd class service
-
Wie-Men Ho (@WieMenHo) reported from Lichfield, England
Not surprised re @virginmedia especially on the TV side - my issues remain unresolved following my attempts to reduce my tv package without being given the assurances or certainty of what channels would actually be removed and what would remain!
-
Chan Ekanayake (@ChanEk81) reported from Stafford, England
@TrekinTech @virginmedia I gave up with Virgin media router after so many of these. It’s is single handedly the worst WiFi router man (or woman or it) has ever invented. But it’s a pretty ok modem TBF..
-
Si Hodgkiss-Rogers (@SpykDaBarstud) reported from Rugeley, England
@ryanricardo76 @virginmedia Having problems on and off with mine again. It works for three months... problems for six, etc. Can’t even steam a movie on one device atm. Call for support. Same thing every time. Always say there’s no issue. Must be our devices. Think, at £50 a month... time to change.
-
Dave (@davecres) reported from Walsall Wood, England
@virginmedia No days no known problem but clearly with so many people waking up this morning and posting on twitter issues there must be an issue somewhere. Eg one of your switches down or dhcp server not issuing an IP to the hub so it can’t continue
-
Mike Hillman (@photo_bloke) reported from Stafford, England
And now @AmazonUK have managed to join @virginmedia on the list of companies who've managed to p**s me off today with poor service They all seem to forget who pays their bills....
-
Emily-jaye collins. (@EmzeeJaye) reported from Stafford, England
@virginmedia I've already checked and there is no reported issues in my area.

@virginmedia Yes it says 6pm. But the estimated fix time has changed about 8 times since the problem started so it isn't reliable at all
-
mike (@MikeT54356) reported
@virginmedia Hi, I've taken out a new plan that includes a home landline phone, do you have a list of phones compatible with your service as i take it that it runs through the hub?

@cleland777 @hazeltunes @virginmedia I would text them because at least then you have tried to cancel in the period you want to. It’s on the them to get back to you
-
Joe Freeman (@joewfreeman) reported
@virginmedia @virginmedia for the last 3 days your notifications say you are working on the problem but the fix time gets pushed further and further back. Please hurry up.
-
Hannah Drake 💙 (@HannahDrakeUK) reported
@JodieHamson @virginmedia Exactly! But I've been really unimpressed over the years with their intrusive attempts to up-sell packages to me, without really understanding my particular needs, so don't feel super loyal anymore. As you say, the danger is loss of service when we're so reliant on the internet..
-
James Gill (@jamesjgill) reported
@virginmedia This has been saying there are no issues for three days, but I've had to tether to my phone for three days... so I don't believe the reporting(!) Thanks for reaching out – how can we get this fixed?
-
Sankar Satchidananda (@shanky2719) reported
@Taz02362453 @virginmedia Agree completely. Happy to make a group case...I have plenty of complaints against their kind of service and billing.
-
Peter Snowdon (@petersnowdon) reported from Darlington, England
Hi @virginmedia received a letter this morning advising me of price rise and providing a link for more info. The link directs me to call and you don't answer. Any suggestions? I'd like to cancel my service with you. Thanks

@virginmedia ... Phone again, engaged. Phone again, engaged. Call again, automated service tells me everything is working and cuts me off. Phone again, engaged. Finally get through to someone (English not their first language.) Have me reboot hub. ...
