  • Kagey_infohub Kate Gordon (@Kagey_infohub) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia I'll check, but slow connection and frequent drop is ongoing. We looked at switching but didn't move as not enough confidence in alternative ISPs tbh.

  • Lacie_Adams1 Lacie_Adams (@Lacie_Adams1) reported from Walsall Wood, England

@PatchworkBoyPW @virginmedia They wont have a clue. I had issues for about 6 months and I was constantly trying to sort it out. Engineers are great but the "customer service" team are based in India and have no customer service skills 🤙

  • thekosfox Karl (@thekosfox) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia Understandably, I was very annoyed after being on hold for 'god knows' how long to be told yes, the activation cost, £49.95 would be waived as a new customer. Then to be put through to the installation team and told NO!!! the activation cost would stand!!! Bad customer service.

  • 5tu1987 Stuart Hurcombe (@5tu1987) reported from Armitage with Handsacre, England

@virginmedia You mean the number we have used that have fed us countless information that is untrue/impossible to achieve to try and ‘keep us happy’. Also love the identical response to the previous tweet.. Nice template! Hopefully speak to someone in the week who maybe WANTS to help us

  • mkcU2war Mark Crossley (@mkcU2war) reported from Fradley and Streethay, England

@virginmedia been on the phone for over an hour then you’ve just cut me off. You have been taking payments from me and you cannot tell me what I’m paying for. It’s looking like theft. Disgraceful service.

  • mo4g_777 mo4g (@mo4g_777) reported from West Bromwich, England

  • gorman_wba Liam O'Gorman (@gorman_wba) reported from Walsall Wood, England

@virginmedia Your an absolute joke of a company, you charge me £50 a month for broadband and it hasn’t worked for the last 2 months, 4 people in our street have the same problem but yet when an engineer comes out they claim they’ve fixed it when they havent, sort it out, disgrace.

  • KirstR92 Kirsty Rudd (@KirstR92) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia can someone call me so I can cancel my contract as my bill has gone up from £63 to £79 - it’s ridiculous

  • thekosfox Karl (@thekosfox) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia I understand there is an activation fee, when I asked, as a new customer if it could be waiverd and was told yes, I didnt then expect in another department to be told no!! One main reason we are leaving Sky is because of this of inconsistency in customer service. Poor start!

  • stevegoodman Steve Goodman (@stevegoodman) reported from Nuneaton, England

@WebAsh @virginmedia You never know they might offer you the new customer discount if you stay for another year... Yes they've wasted my time too

  • mo4g_777 mo4g (@mo4g_777) reported from West Bromwich, England

  • thekosfox Karl (@thekosfox) reported from Nuneaton, England

So, I'm switching from Sky Tv/Broadband to @virginmedia. A friend of mine who is a new customer got multi room with no activation cost. I phone for the offer and the lady said no fee, yayyyy, I go through to another department and its £49 Being fobbed off already!!😡😡 NOT HAPPY!

  • mkcU2war Mark Crossley (@mkcU2war) reported from Fradley and Streethay, England

@virginmedia you have been taking money out of my account, and after an hour + on the phone you are unable to tell me why. It’s looking like theft. Disgraceful service.

  • 5tu1987 Stuart Hurcombe (@5tu1987) reported from Armitage with Handsacre, England

@Gemgwar @virginmedia Basically.. nobody knows what the process is! Told we had to wait in ALL DAY yesterday for nobody to come (when we apparently now it’s only a package being delivered) STILL! nobody is clear if it’s a package being delivered or an engineer. Shocking service for what we are paying!

  • mo4g_777 mo4g (@mo4g_777) reported from West Bromwich, England

@virginmedia ffs once again your stupid phone line isn’t working - B42

  • Gemgwar Gemma Brayne (@Gemgwar) reported from Armitage with Handsacre, England

@virginmedia really not impressed with your service. No idea what is going on and when I’m actually getting my broadband. Your team just keep lying to me and it’s frustrating!!

  • Lacie_Adams1 Lacie_Adams (@Lacie_Adams1) reported from Walsall Wood, England

@virginmedia internet down again, youd think I'd be used to this by now 🤣 always an excuse and never get anything back for the lack of usage. I'm barely in the house using it so dread to think how many times it goes down when I'm not in potentially using it 🤙

  • thekosfox Karl (@thekosfox) reported from Nuneaton, England

@virginmedia Hi, I'm a new customer, installation is this Saturday (24th). Our friends have recently joined you and they were offered multi-room (1 extra box) with no 'set up' costs. So I inquired and was told the same (just £7.50pm) put through to another department and told no, its £49.95.

@virginmedia Surprise surprise, no one showed up. Called the number to be told it was cancelled your end.…. If you cancel an appointment you need to let people know So I’d like my £29.50 compensation for you guys wasting my time and I expect it to be credited to my next bill!

  • wbaa_j . (@wbaa_j) reported

MY VIRGIN MEDIA BOX BROKE WTF, HAVE TO WAIT TILL THE 17th????? @virginmedia ur useless man

  • FuatD__ Fuat DEGIRMENCI (@FuatD__) reported

@DavidLisser Vodafone broadband services are terrible mate, if you want to use vodafone again if you buy a phone and make HOTSPOT from it, you can use it more stable, I tested this way for a while. VirginMedia is really good if you have service.

  • Kazb1 Karen (@Kazb1) reported

@virginmedia Same as they always are, slow and rubbish. This was over WiFi but not much difference with wired

  • roosterxid ROOSTERXID (@roosterxid) reported

@virginmedia Yes . To be honest whilst i appreciate your messages it shouldn't have taken me leaving a poor review to actually get any action If you're genuinely interested in helping just do me a favour and allow me to terminate my contract early

  • shonadon shona donaldson (@shonadon) reported

Trying to cancel to move to another isp and @virginmedia customer services are continuing to go over and over the same questions. Either reduce the cost of my current contract to match new provider or listen to my request and cancel. Service is very poor.

  • KenMoss1978 Ken Moss (@KenMoss1978) reported

@virginmedia I was offered a free WiFi booster, then passed to someone else who had no idea what I was talking about, then I was asked about conducting a diagnostic test, then asked what my problem was. Don't tell me you're sending something then mess me around. Just send the thing please!
