@RichPierce0079 @virginmedia @SkyUK @VodafoneUK All different issues really. Virgin is its own thing. Sky could have been a line issue, Vodafone went live earlier today but despite saying it has an internet connection it doesn’t. Almost like they’ve not activated it on their end despite the app saying the line is active.

The @VodafoneUK Broadband App has a support and diags section. Except it requires an internet connection to access it. Which doesn’t help when you require support for why your router can’t get online. Not sure @VodafoneUK thought that one through.

So @SkyUK finally just replied to me on Messenger. Then said that as I’ve been with them for over 10 days I’ll need an engineer. Except I only had the service installed on Friday, not 10 days ago. Such poor service. So @SkyUK cancelled and over to @VodafoneUK instead now.

Probably fair to say @VodafoneUK are by far the slowest to respond to anything on Twitter of the broadband suppliers I’ve dealt with. Really poor customer service which kinda matches what I’ve heard about their service before joining.

Interesting that @VodafoneUK say OpenReach confirms a higher minimum speed than @SkyUK are advising I will get as a minimum. On top of that, @VodafoneUK’s own guarantee is higher again too. Maybe I should’ve gone with @VodafoneUK instead. Might cancel @SkyUK not even a week in.

Get a PAC code from Vodafone, go to whichever mobile network you want to move to, get your new phone and/contract and give them your PAC code, it’ll automatically cancel your contract with Vodafone. I left them in 2015, best thing I did

@AllisonPearson @VodafoneUK If not in contract, text PAC to 65075. You can also request a PAC by calling 191 or using live chat. Give the PAC to your new network provider and they will transfer the number over. If in contract, call them or use live chat to find out what they will charge you to cancel.

@AllisonPearson @VodafoneUK It's appalling that service providers make it this difficult to cancel their service. It should be as simple as clicking an "unsubscribe" button. I'd say, cancel the direct debit - and if they threaten to take you to court, show them this thread.

@VodafoneUK awful service in getting my full fibre connection. I raised request on 15th November and was supposed to be completed on 15th December. The installation only started on 15th December and problems were encountered. Now we are told it might be sorted on 28th December.
