@VodafoneUK @steve_sps Hmmm, except when you do that it takes you to a list of options, none of which are relevant and when you specify what you are looking for help with “computer says no”. Maybe if the advisers were actually real people there might be a chance you could help…….?

@VodafoneUK trying to contact you today by phone and got cut off on 2nd attempt after 23 minute wait. 1st attempt wasn’t allowed to speak to an advisor. Told to use online chat, no advisors available. What’s going on? Terrible service from a communication company.

@CityFibre Don’t use @VodafoneUK for your fibre connection in Kirklees, their customer service is terrible. 59 days since @CityFibre came out to connect and still nothing.

. @VodafoneUK What is going on with IP addresses today? Keeps changing every few minutes which is a right pain the arse when I access something for work locked down to my IP and keep having to update. Can handle it changing every day but this is ridiculous!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I’m so sorry to hear your father’s been treated like this. Inexcusable. We had a dongle for wifi and somehow a phone number was attached to it ( by whom?) which was making calls to far flung places. Impossible to deal with them. Took ages to sort out. Never again.

@Decembermum @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Never, ever have any communication with these agencies. Block their numbers, do not respond to letters - bin them immediately. They can't do anything if you totally blank them. They make their money from people caving in,which I recognise many do.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I used to work for a well known mobile phone retailer. Vodafone were always terrible. We used to try and persuade customers to go onto literally any other network because they were beyond awful. I feel for you.

In my experience of dealing with these call centres, language skills are insufficient to deal with complex and sensitive issues at times. Billions made, Pennies pinched!

I Google the CEO of a company generally their email can be found. When I’ve complained to it, I instantly get a response from their PR team & then to a senior manager!

@VodafoneUK @GeorgeMonbiot I would recommend referring them to ofcom and Financial Ombudsman Service. They have plenty of other complaints and will settle fast! Their call service agents are bullies, ignorant and rude! Their complaint process is a joke! The sooner they are out of business the better!

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I've had one experience with Vodafone and it was utterly horrible: along the lines you have experienced. No way of leaving and lots of threats. Just look through the window of any high-street store and spend 30 seconds watching the staff; this will tell you all you need to know.
