@VodafoneUK All lights are white on the front and I can connect to the router, however I have either no or a painfully slow connection. I've rebooted the system and that hasn't helped. I'm happy to dm you. You'll find all the info already there from previous issues.

  • bettyjo62
Betty Jo Workman (@bettyjo62) reported from Abingdon, England

  • Clerkenwill
William Whitehead (@Clerkenwill) reported from Oxfordshire, England

Are Wi-fi companies (The Cloud, BT, Sky etc) in cahoots with network providers (@ee @VodafoneUK etc)? I keep finding I’m in the middle of a data-hungry operation and I’ve been logged off or lost Wi-fi connection. Several months in a row I’ve run out of data as a result.

  • SteveButchr
Stephen (@SteveButchr) reported from Oxfordshire, England

Hey @VodafoneUK do you have problems in Oxford area as my internet speeds suck? Or have you done the old trick of slowing people’s speed down deliberately? To make room for new customers.

  • vicki06550
Victoria Wood 💙 (@vicki06550) reported from Watlington, England

@VodafoneUK can you please advise when coverage will return to OX49? 2 days no coverage and no answers from customer service. Making life difficult as with no coverage, no SMS so can’t log into many sites that need OTP to authenticate. Can’t get into Bank, HMRC...

  • RustyBearsMum

@SeemaMistryP @VodafoneUK We shouldn't have to resort to using social media to get customer service. It should be readily offered all the time.

    @VodafoneUK customer service my arse

  • smacula
smacula (@smacula) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@mattPez @Vitt2TsNoC @VodafoneUK My worst was with vi#gin media where they start with sorry and then start sounding condescending about you choosing a different deal. Sure, they offer a higher speed, but if it’s not reliable while I’m wfh, it ain’t worth the double you have to pay for it.

  • MadJeffSlade
Jeff Slade (@MadJeffSlade) reported from Oxfordshire, England

@ThreeUKSupport So here in Oxford OX2 7AH I have no working phone signal. I am unable to log onto my NHS responder app and can’t even complete a voice call. 3 days in a row. I’ve tried all your usual remedies. Useless. Thank goodness I can use my wife’s @VodafoneUK iPad.

  • MeAgain1962
Tony (@MeAgain1962) reported from Didcot, England

@CheekyVic @VodafoneUK I've been with most mobile suppliers. I'm now in with superdrug which is 3 in all but name. Cost me £20-00 per month. On a rolling contract. Cancel when you want and they won't charge you. Unlimited data etc. Just ask for a sim over the counter

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK Virginmedia did similar when my first wife passed away. They owed around £300. Chased up several times and never got it back. Yet they got debt collectors on me for £25 outstanding bill lol

  • SteveMaslinG
    Steve Maslin (@SteveMaslinG) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK My 88 year old Mum was in hospital 6 weeks, Dad called her every day until Virgin Media cut off his phone without warning. Dad never missed a bill but they said he had exceeded his limit. When I complained their rep shouted "It's for their protection". Virgin Media are scum.

  • EnzoFerro2023
    Enzo Ferro (@EnzoFerro2023) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK Very sorry for your loss. I left virgin media a few years back after very poor service and I am hearing lots of examples recently of why I will never return.

  • dangoodman101
    Dan Goodman (@dangoodman101) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK A month after my old Mum died, Virgin called me and said she was eligible for an upgrade. The lady on the phone couldn't grasp she'd passed even though her contract had been terminated. She kept saying she'd been a Mobile Customer for 10 years, she would get a great deal. Useless

  • cheesepudding3
    L.J.C. (@cheesepudding3) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK Yep Virgin Media and the TV licence people - they are awful.

  • offshorelegal99
Tokyo Trader Legal and Investment (@offshorelegal99) reported

@MichelleBeckett @SkyUK @VodafoneUK Thats appalling they can if they wanted to ...this company have recently been fined by Ofcom for horrendous customer failings so do esculate your complaint higher...im sorry to hear about your beloved dads passing....

  • Ed_Sabella
    Ed Sabella (@Ed_Sabella) reported

@DanielPriestley I don’t think this is really about protecting kids, it’s more about collecting information on everyone. I have two young kids and use @VodafoneUK . I used to block specific websites easily through the router, but Vodafone removed that option and replaced it with their so-called “Secure Net” app. Now you can only block by category, not by individual websites. It turns out this is perfectly legal. The UK government doesn’t require providers to offer specific site blocking. They only want category blocking, which gives parents far less real control. It’s the same problem as YouTube: no matter how many categories you block, creators always find ways around it. I highly recommend moving to @Starlink like I did
