    @VodafoneUK - trying to get through to you to cancel my broadband account. The no you provide seems to be pretty well unstaffed. So far over 3 hours of ‘queueing’ over 3 days & still no person to speak to. Can you provide alternatives. Including this channel.

    Apparently the ignorance and stupidity is spreading. @VodafoneUK 4G mast burnt down in #Crawley by idiots. I hope the police find them, and lock them up before they can disconnect anyone else from their loved ones during this difficult time. These criminals need to be stopped!

    @g0lfp @VodafoneUK In their defence they did include their phone number, which goes through to their “automated assistant” that fails to understand you. That’s ok, I pay for Prime Contact… but they’re never there. No problem, I’ll just email… oh wait.

    Can someone from @VodafoneUK contact me pls ASAP. I’ve been a customer since you were #PeoplesPhone &I’ve just had to do my upgrade over the phone (Tammy) as the online&Tobi options were quite frankly useless. Tammy was GREAT, BUT she couldn’t add my 20% discount on. Oh dear....

    @PrettyHatMech @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Most cancellations teams are targeted on mimimising customers successfully canceing their contracts, to encourage customer retention through offers and support. Deceased customers should obviously not be counted towards this if they currently are.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Not just Vodafone that have issues @virginmedia equally as #bad during a recent family bereavement. Removed all account offers when transferring name over, doubling the bill. When told to cancel they were magically able to fix everything. #chancers

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Tended to be all about handling volume and closing complaints quickly. There were also metrics based on complaints to OfCom, but the measure of success was more about not being as bad as competitors rather than being the best….

    @Moonbeamsplay @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I agree. Our problems with Vodafone could be easily solved if we could just speak with a human (assuming they employ staff who are decently paid and well enough treated to be motivated to contribute to Vodafone's success).

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK It took over two months to get broadband up and running in our home after a move. Issue was Openreach, but Vfone never seemed to concered about the long delay in establishing service. Just impersonal boilerplate emails about this or that delay. Noboby in charge of the problem.

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Incentives. What's your Retention Marketing target? What % of people calling in to ask to cancel do you ask your staff to turn around (retain)? Are "I'm calling because I'm bereaved" calls counted in this total? Are there bonuses for staff in hitting these retention targets?

    @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK 12. An email address for customer complaints , rather than only having a postal address. 13. Empower the customer complaints team to actually be fix complaints , as opposed to fwd`ing on to others. 14. Publish their environmental strategy and actually invest in it!
