Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Porth and nearby locations:
-
Ade (@Bubwal) reported from Cardiff, Wales@RobBruceK @ThreeUK @O2 @EE @VodafoneUK No awful. Just spent 5 days with no data/calls due ti Insufficient bandwidth. My family and friends who were with O2/BT/Vodaphone had no problems. Worst ever. So regret leaving previous provider last month. Their coverage checker is inaccurate too
-
Matthew Jones (@stumpy_juk) reported from Cardiff, Wales@ThreeUKSupport network issues in Cardiff..
-
Krishele Guzman (@KrisheleG) reported from Cardiff, Wales@dlever21 @ThreeUK My problem was they added a new condition this time that said if you haven't used it since January. but @ThreeUK ran the offer in May and I used it then. Guaranteed they caught LOADS of people out 😡
-
James Vincent 🏳️🌈🏴 (@thisisjmx) reported from Coity, Wales@NoServiceHereUK CF311RQ, Prince of Wales hospital. Very poor inside signal from @ThreeUKSupport and @VodafoneUK. Just thought I'd point it out. #NoServiceHereUK.
-
Shane (@gingio) reported from Cardiff, Wales@NathanWyburnArt @Apple I’m having a similar issue and @ThreeUK won’t do anything about it. They told me to download some app which won’t help anyway as it’s unknown caller. I think next step is I’ll be forced to change my number 😐
-
Darío Gutier (@Dariogutier) reported from Cardiff, Wales@ThreeUKSupport Yeah and the problem was still there, my phone was changed because apparently was the phone and the problem is still here! It’s been 2 years contract in hell!! I can’t wait to finish it
-
Charmaine (@Champers_88) reported from Cardiff, Wales@ThreeUKSupport I’m having issues when people are calling me sometimes it says number invalid. Any suggestions?
-
🏴 Stuart 🏴 (@welsh_stu) reported from Caerphilly, Wales@JohnDubyaUK @ThreeUK Yeah they’re all in such a rush to get 5G out, they just seem to have given up on trying to get 4G sorted out. At least show me I’ve got a crap signal, don’t pretend it’s all full speed and awesome.
-
PJG (@PJGil) reported from Pencoed, Wales@ThreeUK something isn't right with the mast in cf35 6tg. I normally have 4 bars and 4g but only 1 bar and no data. Its not just me either. Phone gets 5 bars and 5g 4 mile down the road so phone is ok
-
Matthew J B (@MatthewJB1978) reported from Cardiff, Wales@SteffRidderwall @666hazard @chrisaarongrima @ChelseaFC @nikefootball @ThreeUK I don’t it just came up on my timeline and it looked awful just my opinion I’m sure some will like it
-
🏴 Stuart 🏴 (@welsh_stu) reported from Caerphilly, Wales@ThreeUKSupport This was in CF83 1XP and it’s been terribly slow for months now.
-
RR (@richjrawlings) reported from Coychurch Lower, Wales@ThreeUKSupport Hi Jordanna. The signal is not always 1 bar as this fluctuates when I move to different areas of Bridgend. So this is not a SIM or Device issue, this is to do with the signal/antennas in each area.
-
🏴 Stuart 🏴 (@welsh_stu) reported from Caerphilly, Wales@ThreeUKSupport Been through this, you won’t check as it’s a business account and the business team never follow up. 2 years ago Caerphilly had around 40mb down now it’s about 4mb down and no one there seems bothered.

-
Lee Smith 🌻 (@djleekee) reported from Cardiff, WalesHi @VodafoneUK ever since @ThreeUK put a new 5g mast up less than 100m from my house I have barely had any signal in my house and surrounding area. Please can you investigate postcode cf11 6dr Thank you.
-
Clare Owen (@ClareO74) reported from Cardiff, Wales@ThreeUK Not great service! Look after your loyal customers #loyalcustomersmeannothing 😡
-
🏴 Stuart 🏴 (@welsh_stu) reported from Caerphilly, Wales@ThreeUKSupport No improvement after a restart and I tried 3 different phones so I know it’s not my phone. The phone is on 3G most of the time anyway and it is around the same speed as 4G. The signal is absolutely terrible.
-
Ade (@Bubwal) reported from Cardiff, Wales@jaybee_ms Moved to them last month. Advise against it. Data service has been awful. Wish I'd never moved provider. Tried all the main providers and 3 is by far the worst #threeuk #crap
-
Gordon Price (@gordonpr1c3) reported from Cardiff, Wales@ThreeUKSupport Shouldn't the message read, Hi, valued customer, we are super busy right now, please try again later? Or something other than we are closed?
-
Rossko 👉👉 (@RosskoKeniston) reported from Porth, Wales@ThreeUKSupport I'm nearing the end of a two year contract! I don't live in a great signal area unfortunately, calls tend not to reach my phone at home unless I have the WiFi on. I'm definitely not complaining, there are huge benefits to Three, InTouch was literally a lifesaver a while back!
3 (Three) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Alexander Bragin (@SkaterMadnes) reported@ThreeUK @JonnyMontrealQC It's still broken a year later.
-
Wyn Morgan (@wynmorgan) reported@ThreeUK @ThreeUKSupport seems we’re going to be without a signal for a second week as you’re still working on your mast. Surely you’ve had time to install a new mast in that time?
-
Hamza Butt (@hrbuttpk) reported@ThreeUK terrible service on the 5G hub - thinking of changing!
-
woodland246 (@woodland246) reported@CBTwizard @MartinSLewis @ThreeUK If it’s less than 14 days since you took out the contract, call them back and explain that the law says they must allow you to cancel. It’s not disputable, it’s your legal right. Alternatively try Citizens Advice Bureau? Wishing you good luck 🤞
-
Greatestperson1 (@baskeyfit) reported@ThreeUKSupport bought 5g hub last Wednesday. Currently good excellent connection to 5g mast but last night download speeds have dropped significantly from 150 to 30mbps and ping is unstable. I followed the troubleshooting and there’s no improvement
-
Hannah Penn (@Hannah_Penn) reported@threeuk Your customer service is an absolute disgrace. Mis-sold a 24m SIM-only contract, assured me twice it was cancelled (once after 2 hours on the phone), cases all closed. Now you’ve reinstated it AGAIN, and sent a bill. This is appalling. I will NOT be paying. Sort it out.
-
Álvaro Pétrus (@AcgbPetrus) reported@ThreeUK I'm spending some time abroad and I've had problems with my international roaming. I can no longer use my plan; I have absolutely no signal. I need help but haven't been able to get it so far. Can you assist me? The company doesn't seem to care much about its customers.
-
woodland246 (@woodland246) reported@CBTwizard @MartinSLewis @ThreeUK Can you cancel the contract? For online/phone (distance) sales of mobile contracts, the cooling-off period is 14 days. The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, but some companies allow a longer period.
