BT’s changes make things less convenient & possibly dangerous for the less tech savvy customer & those who have bad reception. I think Mitchell’s column made that point pretty well already

I live chatted them, they offered a new deal £5 more than current and also more than current deals from plusnet, voda and others, so looks like I will cancel. Shame as otherwise happy with the service.

Joanna Wilson (@Joanna_Wilson) reported@bt_uk The issue is fairly clearly laid out in the original post, and the Observer article in the link. @bt_uk is forcing everyone to get rid of their landlines and rely on the internet and mobile reception, which is both inconvenient and potentially dangerous.

fred smith (@Pdc666) reported@bt_uk Done all of that and it keeps saying an engineer needs to be called we are known on our 5th engineer although 1 was a no show so we will say 4 engineers and each one says the problem has been sorted only for it to be worse each and everytime
