BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Alexandra O'Byrne (@AlexaOByrne) reported@bt_uk @stokeygurl Iโve not been able to get into my online account for weeks due to a fault caused when BT upgraded their system a few weeks ago. No account access for weeks, BT cannot help and hence Iโm now taking my landline, broadband and mobile contracts elsewhere! Loyal customer since 1993!
-
Graeme Davis (@GraemeDavis) reported@bt_uk Thanks for this @bt_uk - i did manage to speak to a BT *human being* and the problem is outside my home, BUT the process has triggered BT to book a fourth appointment to connect me to fibre. Iโve had three engineers who say it is impossible - Grade 2 listed house in a conservation area; cables would need multiple way leaves, no practical cable access to my house which is permitted by Grade 2, difficulty of routing inflexible cables once inside. Iโve accepted this, fibre cannot be installed to my home. How do I cancel the engineer and not rebook the engineer appointment which has been set up? There appears to be a lock on the system where it can only be rebooked even by BT; cancellation is absolutely impossible. Should I try a letter? Any phone process doesnโt work as operatives are not authorised to cancel but can only rebook.
-
Alessandro Riolo (@aledeniz) reported@bt_uk @ee How clueless you all are, asking me to confirm a security code received via email while I am trying to log in to your Wi-Fi hotspots? Has anyone ever tested that process on an iPhone? ๐ง What happens when the user leaves the login process to check the email? ๐คจ
-
Darren Lewis (@Darren_Lewis1) reported@bt_uk typical BT broadband neglecting loyal customers - renewal prices for a customer of 6 years - charging WAY MORE than the market rate and WAY MORE than if I was a new BT customer. Shame on you, I thought those days of not caring about your long standing customers was over.
-
๐ฒ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ (@catallaxer) reported@omotforest @bt_uk @openreach Fully accept your point. However, you are missing out. 1 gigabit+ speeds really are worth it. 2.5 gigabit is next. You will never get that over copper or satellite. Copper is being phased out.
-
Elek Eklund (@EklundElek) reported@tctantan @bt_uk @bt_uk a once great company is now CRAP so Iโm not surprised by what youโre saying ๐ค๐ป You should ask to see the itemised phone bill for the non existing service! ๐ค๐ป
-

โช๏ธNeil Hโช๏ธ (@neilhamshaw) reported@F1 Exclusive is the problem. A hub of motorsports fans in the UK are screed by this. F1: Sky MotoGP: BTSport WEC: TNT Naturally, two have to go. This gets more of a joke every time.
-
Andrew Potts (@ah_potts) reported@bt_uk @cakey12 Broadband gone down, try logging into the app, do the 2 step verification, then select manage my account and it tries to load then goes back to the login screen. (s there a general issue?

Jessica (@Jessica67669786) reported@ArmchairAdml @bt_uk this elderly gentleman has been a loyal customer for many years. He is now out of contract paying an extortionate price. Surely you can assist him in obtaining a reasonable priced package for his needs, and perhaps issue a refund for out of contract price hike?
