@bt_uk Why can't you do better than "Your call will be answered ASAP"? As Comms co. you must be able to give estimate of hold time to let customer choose to stay on the line or try later. Others do it! Answered after 13mins. Transferred to Billing 15mins and again to Pay 14mins.

@Dani1987C @d_mac2912 @ibroxrocks @btsport @darrellcurrietv I wouldn’t mind listening in to a conversation like that. “He says bad hings aboot Ra Gers. Pyoor canny stand us, an ah’ll no be watching Ye again”.

  • lor51

@bt_uk is there a reason the #BTMail iOS app keeps requesting login details and doesn’t allow for face recognition to be used?

  • GiggsyBlantyre
Alan M. Lappin (@GiggsyBlantyre) reported from Hamilton, Scotland

@Dani1987C @d_mac2912 @ibroxrocks @btsport @darrellcurrietv Definitely! Once they go down that road, they’re gone. With a lot of them, that’s the only route they know, when they’re losing any sort of argument.

  • GiggsyBlantyre
Alan M. Lappin (@GiggsyBlantyre) reported from Hamilton, Scotland

@Dani1987C @d_mac2912 @ibroxrocks @btsport @darrellcurrietv It’s because Christopher Sutton is a former player of Celtic, Danielle. But I don’t think this fella will admit that he’s bound by hatred of all things Celtic, and that’s what motivates him to cancel his BT sub. You’re right though, they won’t give a ****!

@MaitlandBen @bt_uk @OpenreachHelp Genuine question: Considering that BT own EE, could they not offer a 4G/5G router that connects via the mobile networks as a backup option for when the landline network goes down? I think that's what Vodafone offer on their broadband.

  • 2plus3times5

@hscrutton @bt_uk They only want your money... Took me a year to get them to realise I had fibre in a old property 4 years ago... then another year to actually give be fibre broadband. Today they're supposedly doing the digital phone switchover, no interference I'm told, broadband down all day!

  • bSocialStrategy
    B Social (@bSocialStrategy) reported

.@bt_uk it’s 1:30AM and I’m still up trying to get my work done. Why? Because the internet has been awful all evening. I’ve been trying to upload a 45 second video for the last two hours with no success. And I can’t go to sleep unless I meet my deadlines. This happens too often!

  • mxtthewpxrker
    The Memedalorian (@mxtthewpxrker) reported

The thing I love most about my @bt_uk broadband is its inconsistency. Jumping from 24 mbps to 2 mbps then up to 35 then back down to 500kbps. Paying for a minimum 45 mbps and getting anything but even with 2 mini discs!

  • catering_repair
    Kingston Catering (@catering_repair) reported

@bt_uk Can you help? One of your telemarketers called to attempt to get us to switch to fibre. Do you know if the copper from our premises to the fibre outside would be replaced with fibre? BTW we are happy with what we have & would like to not be bothered by cold calls. Thanks

  • 2plus3times5
    Xavier Sprocker (@2plus3times5) reported

@MrAlbertTatlock @bt_uk Christ I only get 38mbps here... middle of nowhere. The swore this would increase speeds... If it aint broke don't fix it is my motto...

@bt_uk Hi, Clare. How are you? I assume my tone came across as rude - I apologise unreservedly. I was aiming for flippant, not accusatory. Your team have been nothing but lovely (Laura & Aisling especially). That said, doesn't 18 days after our agreed moving date seem unreasonable?

  • NealeWC2
    Neale Stevenson (@NealeWC2) reported

@bt_uk Hi - we are reinstating the lift in our building of 4 flats. How I contact BT to re-open the existing landline to the flats and take over that line? Sorry couldn't see any way of making contact on the BT webpage. Many thanks for your help. Neale Stevenson, WC2R 0PP
