Think I’ll have to cancel my one luxury now @btsport I live alone and the cost of my Broadband and Sport is now more than my gas, electric and water put together. I can’t maintain it all on one income. £4pcm is £72 extra over the course of contract.

  • Jerryparr Jerry Parr (@Jerryparr) reported from Peasedown Saint John, England

@conwayMX @btsportufc @UFCEurope @ufc If I have to pay £19.95 a fight, then I’ll just pay box office and VPN with fightpass and cancel BT. Saves me £70 a month @btsport

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Burnside_5 Burnside (@Burnside_5) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk Each time I renew my BT Broadband, the price goes up but the guaranteed minimum speed goes down, dropped by 30% in 4 years, whilst the price to me has increased by 15%, and that’s with negotiating a discount.

  • Simstersnose Simon the Smith 3.5% (@Simstersnose) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk The issue I have is that all overseas calls show on the caller display as “out of area”. Nothing they can do about it. So overseas fake calls can’t be distinguished from the good. Call protect blocks all international calls unless you put the ones you want on the allowed list.

  • DaveSThompson David Thompson (@DaveSThompson) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk Also, you can't use Digital Voice during a power cut either. "Use a mobile phone if that happens", they say... Fine unless you live in the wilds and have no signal.

  • Julford57 Julian Ford (@Julford57) reported

@PhilipRadbourne @paullewismoney @bt_uk Customer service standards can vary a lot. I must admit I do have some sympathy with the customer services staff over this as their hands are tied and they cannot offer what the customer wants.

  • AnneWareham Anne Wareham (@AnneWareham) reported

@mm0jxi @paullewismoney @bt_uk And no emergency calls for those of us with no mobile signal.

  • FionnMcArthur Fionn McArthur (@FionnMcArthur) reported

@paullewismoney @mm0jxi @bt_uk I took up the offer, now curse for them every time I pick up my phone, dial the number and get the ‘Local numbers are no longer supported on……’ message. Cancel, redialling with the additional 5 digits.

  • Dmartinog88 Dmartino88 (@Dmartinog88) reported

@bt_uk @Darrensailes I was not advised of this and I'm a new customer, 10% is a utterly disgrace

  • BowlesAnd George and Karen Bowles (@BowlesAnd) reported

@bt_uk Well, finally an operative who seems to care. I have been promised a call back from him personally on Monday, to hopefully put an end to this appalling lack of customer care. Let’s wait and see, I’m not holding my breath….

  • PaulGreenTPB Paul Green. (@PaulGreenTPB) reported

@bt_uk I did and it didn't work, looked at other deals, not particularly impressed. Shall wait to @WeAreOpenreach fix the repair, if they ever do but Alncon are now looking good for the future

  • taperoo2k taperoo2k (@taperoo2k) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk Given the copper network will be switched off at some point this decade, you'll either have to switch to digital voice or have no landline telephone.
