  • SimonDaykin Simon Daykin (@SimonDaykin) reported from Northwold, England

@btcare you fail on yesterday’s install, then bombard me with urgent messages to contact you. I do, and 7 calls later and over 3 hours on call (being cut off by you after 30 mins), I’m losing the will. When I placed the order you were amazingly attentive and quick. Funny that

  • NicDaykin Nicola Daykin (@NicDaykin) reported from Northwold, England

Cannot believe further incompetence of @bt_uk. 10 days without phone or broadband. Engineer booked Thurs for today. Chasing ETA appt has cancelled and rescheduled for tues. no reason, no conversation just changed AND complaint has been closed as resolved! I DONT THINK SO 😡 LIVID

  • AWPRCO AW PR (@AWPRCO) reported from Great Massingham, England

@btsport must condemn this. Commentator making light of Simeone avoiding bottles reigning down. It’s unacceptable. @btsportfootball @mrjakehumphrey

  • NicDaykin Nicola Daykin (@NicDaykin) reported from Northwold, England

@bt_uk I’ve purchased a dongle which you offered me, had no service for 2 weeks, spent 2 1/2hrs on the phone, taken 2 rest days waiting for an engineer spent a fortune on mobile data, turned up on the wrong shift for work and my son in meltdown as he can’t submit college work...

  • Reynolds3Simon Mr R 💙 (@Reynolds3Simon) reported from Wisbech, England

@BTCare @BTBroadbandOUT shocking service no Internet 3 days minihub that is worse than useless. We work from home, pay for the highest level of BT broadband and they cannot even get an engineer to fix it. Will be transferring to another provider ASAP.

@LittleOlivia7 @btsport @raphaelvarane I guess we could have done, however, may have caused issues. It wasn’t planned, and we were all playing it by ear. Rio felt more comfortable just congratulating him and i think it made great TV. 👍🏻

  • Markt_87 Mark Toole (@Markt_87) reported from Wimbotsham, England

@SkyHelpTeam another poor customer service experience for a loyal customer. On going broadband issues, three calls all over 30mins on hold each time with three different answers and no call back as promised! Need this resolved ASAP or will be moving to @bt_uk

  • danzell33 Danny V (@danzell33) reported from Watlington, England

don't use @bt_uk absolutely aweful customer service, moved out our old place on 19th July and promised connection at our new house on 24th July, still waiting and keep getting sent mini hubs that don't work. If didn't have an account with them would definitely go elsewhere.

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • hbadams_ Hannah (@hbadams_) reported

@bt_uk WiFi has gone down twice now in last 12 hours in CO7 area. Are there any known issues?

  • jamclarkey James (@jamclarkey) reported

@CarolynOtley @cumpstonarchive @bt_uk Current mitigation should be energy distribution networks supplying generators for longer power outages. As for telecoms, UPS/Battery backups but would only last a few hours at max. Amazon have solar battery packs to charge mobiles which may help too. pt1

  • CarolynOtley Carolyn Otley (@CarolynOtley) reported

@jamclarkey @cumpstonarchive @bt_uk I think the issue here is a lack of rural proofing. Yes, on average most power cuts are short. But when you live in a remote area, they tend to last much longer, you’re far less likely to have a mobile phone signal, and you’re far less likely to be able to drive to safety. 1/2

  • inacentre Ian John (@inacentre) reported

Relying on Internet can bring problems & it's not just being in middle of nowhere. My neighbours on Rossall Promenade been without internet for over 3 weeks. Apparently BT issue & not been able to 'sort it' ! Neighbours very frustrated to say least. @PaulMaynardUK @bt_uk

  • richdean21 Rich Dean FFC (@richdean21) reported

@bt_uk Are there any Broadband problems in the SM3 area tonight please?

  • markjwt Mark Taylor (@markjwt) reported

@bt_uk Yea I get that, but it doesn't really help us, especially when I'm supposed to be working from home as per the new rules but I have to go into the office, despite being deemed as 'vulnerable' does it?

  • Head_stone Head_stone (@Head_stone) reported

@BTCare hi there I’m having issues with my broadband which has a blue light on it but no devices are connecting. I’ve unplugged it & plugged it back in & it’s still the same. Are there problems in the area

  • BrechinYes2 YES Brechin (@BrechinYes2) reported

@bt_uk Turn it down 2 degrees, wear a woolly jumper and you'll save twice as much again. Woolly Jumpers. Means Scottish sheep farmers would get some return for the fleeces. Good for Scotland. Try one sometime. DavieS.

  • LoeskeKruuk Loeske Kruuk (@LoeskeKruuk) reported

@bt_uk: my elderly parents in remote Aberdeenshire have been without phone/internet for >2 weeks since Storm Arwen, broken line. They've had 3 appts for repair, but each time no-one showed up. They're mid 80s, with health conditions. Why isn't this being prioritised ??! @Ofcom

  • terry_cy Terry Barriff (@terry_cy) reported

@bt_uk They have told me to talk to you. If all ISP's are allowing traffic to the site, and BT are the only ones not, then it's BT that need to resolve the issue
