@bt_uk useless customer service, phone line dead 8 days ago, twice been promised an engineer would resolve it and twice it didn’t happen, online chat telling us the engineer is working on the fault at the exchange whilst I’m sat looking at the box void of said engineer!!!

  • Gag_N_Bone_Man
Graeme Rayner (@Gag_N_Bone_Man) reported from Dewsbury, England

@lolobozzle @BTCare Not sure. Perhaps citizens advice could help? It's in nobody's interest to try and force someone to pay up roe a service they can no longer afford due to a change of circumstances put of their control.

  • Brail1889
Mark Brailsford (@Brail1889) reported from Leeds, England

Punditry on @btsport is the worst

  • PastPostPro
Dan Walsh (@PastPostPro) reported from Dewsbury, England

@bt_uk are genuinely the worst. Poor communication since starting my contract with them, poor resolution to a complaint that nearly lasted a year!! And to top it all off, my actual product didn't work until months after the order date, and would be described as patchy at best.

  • mbroadhead
Martin (@mbroadhead) reported from Barnsley, England

@bt_uk internet down for the 3rd time in a month! Hope this is going to be resolved and hopefully some kind of refund

@Hells4Heroes @bt_uk I’m with BT Helen.. & my Wifi was terrible at the time, they sent me out a new up to date router & boosters for free.. they can test the speed remotely for your Mum. I have worked in telecoms previously & they’re the best provider.

My @bt_uk broadband has been down for a week, fifth outage in twelve months. Halo 900 package, unbreakable WiFi the website says - not true. Hybrid Connect doesn’t, no urgency to resolve anything. We’re being let down hugely.

  • simonhall1974
Simon Hall (@simonhall1974) reported from Kippax, England

@bt_uk why is your WiFi service in Kippax so rubbish. We’re paying for a ‘service’ that is horrendous

  • CouncillorGwen
Councillor Gwen Lowe (@CouncillorGwen) reported from Dewsbury, England

PLEASE BE AWARE OF SCAM! Just answered a phone call from a nice man telling me that there are problems with my @bt_uk broadband speed? Kept him talking as long as I could without sharing any personal information. Obviously it’s a scam as I’m not with BT!

  • charlieros1e
Charlsella Bielsenberg 💛💙 (@charlieros1e) reported from Leeds, England

@BobbyChampion @bt_uk You try sitting on hold for 20 mins just for a lazy imbecile to hang up on you!

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • mizmuggle
    Large Vodka (@mizmuggle) reported

@bt_uk have had no broadband since 25/8. fault tracker says it’s fixed but running a check on it says network fault and the expected resolve date keeps getting pushed back. Can’t get anything other than a bot on phone or text. I work from home and this is not good enough

  • Yorkiebloke
    Yorkie Paul (@Yorkiebloke) reported

@bt_uk Your guides basically said I’ll have to dispute it with Vodafone. You’re expecting me to pay for a service that was cancelled when I switched to Vodafone. I even had an email stating my final bill would be £15. Loyal BT customer for over ten years

  • caffrey_simon
    Simon Caffrey (@caffrey_simon) reported

@bt_uk fault is on the openreach copper network.

  • ClaireMadMax
    Claire #JusticeForNoah (@ClaireMadMax) reported

@juliandc @bt_uk Also many places in rural Northern Ireland and Britain don't have any mobile phone signal at all

  • Forex_trader_4u
    Macro Bielsa (@Forex_trader_4u) reported

@bt_uk Exactly.. I have to call to cancel. Should be 2 clicks max once logged in. Just trying to make it difficult.

  • jennyleyshon
    jenny leyshon (@jennyleyshon) reported

@bt_uk absolutely useless - TV is slow in buffering and laptop is slow but do you think I can talk to somebody with a bit of common sense? No. Been told everything is fine but it’s not. I want an engineer out to fix as I need to be able to work from home.

  • nooneatnowhere
    noone@nowhere (@nooneatnowhere) reported

@bt_uk correct number ported back. It worked for a month and then stopped receiving calls from Vodafone, 3, Lebara and others. Now nobody is able to sort it and they refuse to let us speak to a manager. Can you help??

  • SimonHealey73
    Si (@SimonHealey73) reported

@bt_uk how do I make a complaint via phone or mobile app?

  • jonsie
    huw (@jonsie) reported

Messaging BT Customer Service over web chat is akin to NASA communicating with Voyager .... send a message, waiting ... waiting ... waiting @bt_uk

  • CarolLo58903853
    Carol Lord (@CarolLo58903853) reported

@bt_uk is there a broadband issue in some areas this pm? The call delay suggests yes. I can't stand at the top of the garden for 90mins to wait for a call back from you and 'WiFi calling' indoors obviously isn't working. Very frustrating 😕
