  • trevstanley Trevor Sharkey (@trevstanley) reported from Stanley, England

@bt_uk The Internet connection on your mobile network here in Stanley, Co. Durham is abysmal.

  • trevstanley Trevor Sharkey (@trevstanley) reported from Stanley, England

@bt_uk Do you think you could address the problem of your BTtv EPG in relation to entries by @DiscoveryUK. Entries misleading in time, length of prog, capital letters, no synopsis and unable to "record the series". Do you care?

  • trevstanley Trevor Sharkey (@trevstanley) reported from Stanley, England

@bt_uk Yes. The coverage here in Stanley is shocking. Time after time I have to connect to home or McDonald's or O2 hot spot to get Internet when out in Town. Even occasionally got no signal at all.

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from South Hetton, England

@bt_uk Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree Please fix my broadband just for me I've waited now for many days (17 and counting) Many promises fade in the haze Oh Christmas tree oh Christmas tree Please make my broadband work for me

  • foslar71 Peter Foster (@foslar71) reported from Consett, England

Can someone from @btsport find that annoying kid in the @afcbournemouth stand and tell him to shit the f**k up.

  • liamlcg MrGrumpy.....Y.N.W.A (@liamlcg) reported from Murton, England

@bt_uk I will never use bt again.. i have just recieved a email saying 40% of the faults happen in the home and i will be charged £85 call out if this is the case.

  • kphilchris Karen Brown (@kphilchris) reported from Ouston, England

@BTCare I have an ongoing issue with my broadband I've been in touch a few times now, I've done as instructed & have plugged an ethernet cable into my laptop. I'm trying to watch a programme through the BT box on i player and it is just buffering all the time this can't be right

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Crook, England

@bt_uk False alarm, it was a nice neighbour dropping off a Christmas card - I saw an Openreach van down the road and assumed that you had actually done something!!

  • liamlcg MrGrumpy.....Y.N.W.A (@liamlcg) reported from Murton, England

@bt_uk My broadband has been off for over a week now.. ive spoke to 4 advisor's and had 3 engineer's out. One of the engineer's lied and said i wasnt in when i spoke to him at the gate. Very poor service!!!!

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

@bt_uk As I have tried to explain, an update on a possible new start date 10 days after the promised start date really isn't the level of service I expect from BT.

  • d4rryl23 Darryl Arnett (@d4rryl23) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

@bt_uk Hi, I have just had an experience with your customer service, with which I still don’t have an answer, if I can get your fttp services. My new post is DH4 4ZL. Your web site says that your fttp service is available. If someone can help and views this post. Please do

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

@bt_uk No broadband (now 15 days late), no reasons given why not, no sense of urgency to actually get it sorted. I'm running out of superlatives to describe your dreadful customer service and general incompetence.

  • CraigShitpeas Craig Shitpeas (@CraigShitpeas) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

Rochdale’s 40yr old forward more effective than #Nufc 40million pound one. He is awful. No heart, no touch, no industry just dreadful. Well done #rochdale a deserved payday. They should have won it. They still might! #facup #btsport

  • timlibrarian Tim Fowler (@timlibrarian) reported from Bearpark, England

@bt_uk Hi, no, it’s not a new build. Engineer visited before Christmas and was able to activate broadband but not phone service due to a fault in the junction box. Order number is VOL013-439847322595

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

@bt_uk And people on Twitter may be looking for a new broadband connection and should be aware of the level of service from BT

  • chris_jelley Dr Chris Jelley (@chris_jelley) reported from Durham, England

A new development on the BT issue. Had a call following my Tweet from a person @bt_uk apologising for yesterday. Early termination fee waived, apology accepted and relationship restored. Both agreed that this wasn’t the way it should happen but impressed with the resolution.

  • liamlcg MrGrumpy.....Y.N.W.A (@liamlcg) reported from Murton, England

@bt_uk As ive said i will never have anything to do with bt again

  • chris_jelley Dr Chris Jelley (@chris_jelley) reported from Durham, England

10+ years (probably more) of being a loyal @bt_uk @BTGroup customer and they couldn’t waive the early termination fee liable because my new move means I can’t transfer the contract to my temporary property. I will never use them again.

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • EddlambEjl Educo (@EddlambEjl) reported

@GavinWilliamson @bt_uk @bbcbitesize Are you going to threaten BBC with Ofsted if they don’t support education well enough?

  • ChloeRaccoon Chloe Cresswell (@ChloeRaccoon) reported

@bt_uk Otherwise I can only assume someone is pretending to be BTBusiness, putting your name and URIs and phone numbers on SMSs. I fail to see what they would gain from this of course, given all the contact information on the messages is for BTBusiness.

  • FlackAlan Alan Flack 💙 (@FlackAlan) reported

@bt_uk Yes I know, they are fixing it. But it is a continuous circle as they will fix it but not bury it deep enough so will only happen again soon, despite pointing the obvious out. Anything you can do around making the 4g wifi box available to those without fibre?

  • Silver_Rook SilverRook (@Silver_Rook) reported

@bt_uk No we don't. We've been with several providers but since it's an @OpenreachHelp problem no one will do anything. Tbh I think it would require recalling entire estates. Most we get is 22mbit on fttc. We used to get 44mbit. But that dropped last year after New estates were built

  • FeelitWorking aka James Bond (@FeelitWorking) reported

@bt_uk give me a shout when you're doing free line installation for broadband. I was a BT customer for years, after 2yrs with @virginmedia , @WeAreOpenreach cut the phone line down for "non-usage" while I was out! They did it to lots of people meaning we couldn't go back to BT.

  • SimonDenton2 Simon Denton (@SimonDenton2) reported

@bt_uk you have only partially fixed our fault after 4 engineers visits and our scheduled call from customer service person Sam was not made today. You really don’t care for your customers do you?

  • RupertChandler Are you the Farmer? 🤬 白左🇭🇰 (@RupertChandler) reported

@bt_uk How about you stop with this crap and get down to providing 1Gbe fibre to every UK address? BT ALL about profit Greedy, shoddy company that inherited a network and then milked it for every penny I connect to an exchange 1 mile away down 50 year old copper A TOTAL JOKE SERVICE

  • ChloeRaccoon Chloe Cresswell (@ChloeRaccoon) reported

@bt_uk But don't worry, I'm sure in a few more days you'll SMS my O2 network phone telling me my phone is due for an upgrade, or my contract is running out, and I'll get to put in yet another complaint about where you'll tell me you can't do anything as I'm not your customer.

  • ChloeRaccoon Chloe Cresswell (@ChloeRaccoon) reported

@bt_uk Their advise was to block your number, dispite, as the screen shot shows, you aren't sending with an attached number, so there's nothing I can block. So they suggested I go to O2 and ask them to block you, which hits the same issue, no number on the incoming messages.

  • boxmodz P-Dogg (@boxmodz) reported

@bt_uk WiFi is not the same as internet speed, I have a gigabit network in my house but a 9 mbps internet connection (fttc) it’s just bt, open reach or whatever the call themselves way of trying to con you, don’t fall for it!!
