  • RiskManager01 John McLackland (@RiskManager01) reported from Walker Gate, England

@CCriadoPerez @McAfee_Help @bt_uk Although I have never encountered any virus/mail ware problem for any Mac, you should be able to delete MacAfee files from the Library and Preference Folder.

  • foslar71 Peter Foster (@foslar71) reported from Consett, England

Can someone from @btsport find that annoying kid in the @afcbournemouth stand and tell him to shit the f**k up.

  • HarrymBarham Harry Barham (@HarrymBarham) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

Oh dear @bt_uk… Offered a new contract twice, but my acceptance has been ignored then was supposed to be transferred on a call today but the transfers are broken so was given a direct number…. for the wrong department, who are now panicking because they’re getting random calls

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

@bt_uk Extremely dissatisfied. I've just moved, trying to get landline and broadband at my new house - promised for Monday 2nd, got landline on Friday 6th but still no broadband. Lots of excuses, might possibly be sorted on Thursday 12th. Very poor service.

  • timlibrarian Tim Fowler (@timlibrarian) reported from Bearpark, England

@bt_uk Hi, no, it’s not a new build. Engineer visited before Christmas and was able to activate broadband but not phone service due to a fault in the junction box. Order number is VOL013-439847322595

  • chris_jelley Dr Chris Jelley (@chris_jelley) reported from Durham, England

A new development on the BT issue. Had a call following my Tweet from a person @bt_uk apologising for yesterday. Early termination fee waived, apology accepted and relationship restored. Both agreed that this wasn’t the way it should happen but impressed with the resolution.

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

@bt_uk As I have tried to explain, an update on a possible new start date 10 days after the promised start date really isn't the level of service I expect from BT.

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Crook, England

@bt_uk False alarm, it was a nice neighbour dropping off a Christmas card - I saw an Openreach van down the road and assumed that you had actually done something!!

  • breenster breenster & 🐶 (@breenster) reported from Wylam, England

@bt_uk Dropping out, multiple times a day . It started on 1st Jan after 14 days of stability from previous fix.

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Chester-le-Street, England

@bt_uk No broadband (now 15 days late), no reasons given why not, no sense of urgency to actually get it sorted. I'm running out of superlatives to describe your dreadful customer service and general incompetence.

  • John_P_Turner John Turner (@John_P_Turner) reported from South Shields, England

@bt_uk Queried business bills, however, billing team are unwilling to discuss/explain the issues raised. Service has now been suspended and billing team refusing to engage without payment being made. This is nothing short of blackmail! @MoneyTelegraph @TimesBusiness

  • breenster breenster & 🐶 (@breenster) reported from Wylam, England

@bt_uk I have no idea, I just want someone to access the fault that was closed - and reassess, it’s recurred after 14 days of stability I’ve probably been moved back into your faulty network card or suchlike

  • liamlcg MrGrumpy.....Y.N.W.A (@liamlcg) reported from Murton, England

@bt_uk ...... Your wifi is shit

  • chris_jelley Dr Chris Jelley (@chris_jelley) reported from Durham, England

10+ years (probably more) of being a loyal @bt_uk @BTGroup customer and they couldn’t waive the early termination fee liable because my new move means I can’t transfer the contract to my temporary property. I will never use them again.

  • CraigShitpeas Craig Shitpeas (@CraigShitpeas) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

Rochdale’s 40yr old forward more effective than #Nufc 40million pound one. He is awful. No heart, no touch, no industry just dreadful. Well done #rochdale a deserved payday. They should have won it. They still might! #facup #btsport

  • graeme_i_wilson Graeme Wilson (@graeme_i_wilson) reported from Walker Gate, England

@bt_uk The automated 'check my line' service isn't finding the fault.

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

@bt_uk And people on Twitter may be looking for a new broadband connection and should be aware of the level of service from BT

  • graeme_i_wilson Graeme Wilson (@graeme_i_wilson) reported from Walker Gate, England

@bt_uk I moved house in the last year - previously I had sky DSL - copper only and enjoyed better service - this shouldn't be the case. I have another property with VM Docsis service - again a better service - but your core network was built on low cost - 21CN - poor product choices.

  • MrsP1001 MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from South Hetton, England

@bt_uk Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree Please fix my broadband just for me I've waited now for many days (17 and counting) Many promises fade in the haze Oh Christmas tree oh Christmas tree Please make my broadband work for me

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MPBroadhurst Martin Broadhurst (@MPBroadhurst) reported

Why would a network connection running through a powerline work for five minutes and then stop? @BTCare any ideas?

  • ZaddleMarketing Liam Lally, Zaddle (@ZaddleMarketing) reported

@MPBroadhurst @BTCare In all honesty I have done two things - 1. my internet service comes from Zen and I'm on a business plan (which just means there is a maximum number of people on the same "connection" and 2. I changed from the "run the wifi through the power cables" to Google Wifi

  • _ChrisPrior Chris Prior (@_ChrisPrior) reported

@bt_uk Thank you John, I took your advice and got a text back. Your website now says there's a fault in Hastings which was reported at a very similar time. Is this a related issue? Just hoping my issue wasn't lost in the ether

  • MattFrostie74 Matt Frost (@MattFrostie74) reported

@bt_uk The trouble is he works full time too. Apparently an engineer came out last year at some point (his neighbour said) there was no communication regarding this, so he couldn’t gain access. All the neighbours have the same problem

  • PetalLC Paula (@PetalLC) reported

@bt_uk Well the mini hub is hardly fixing the issue is it. Phone, Internet and TV services been on and off all day

  • NorthExpWebzine Northern Exposure (Rachel Brown) (@NorthExpWebzine) reported

@a5h_green @bt_uk I am not shocked. You won't believe hassle I've had, spent HOURS on the phone over the past 2 month. I moved beginning of December still waiting! Was meant to be 20th Dec, then Jan 20th but now its the 27th WTF!!! This is after an active complaint that was closed! Absolute JOKE!

  • mark_sharrock Mark Sharrock (@mark_sharrock) reported

@bt_uk A week on and still no broadband for working at home customer service absolutely useless like your broadband! You promise speeds of 100+ mines 5 on a good day! SORT IT! Had enough now

  • ms_sgc MsSGC (@ms_sgc) reported

@norwich_dave @bt_uk It is officially 2021 and I am connected to the webs 🥳🥳 step down everyone step down 🥳🥳

  • nutmegnige Nigel (@nutmegnige) reported

My complaint IMP-106347447 @btbusinesscare. Enough is enough! Still no service, so I have cancelled my BT cloud voice installation order with you. I’m yet to receive BT acknowledgement despite my email & call to you today. Can I chase this now please?!

  • MattFrostie74 Matt Frost (@MattFrostie74) reported

@bt_uk Yes I understand that. It is slightly more stable since he has had the new router, but does drop every now and then. I can’t understand why someone should pay the full amount for a service which is poor, he pays the same as someone with 60-70mb! He gets 1.5 if he’s lucky!
