  • timtamw88 Tamara Watts (@timtamw88) reported from Blyth, England

@bt_uk are the most incompetent company. I’m only a month into my contract and I want to cancel already. Terrible customer service, they just pass you to another dept and then your back to the start. I’ve never rang a company so much to get something sorted. #terrible

  • TVBCJonpaul Jonpaul Heron (@TVBCJonpaul) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

Working fine all day, week and month. Now watching #ChampionsLeagueFinal2019 on @btsport on YouTube and it’s now poor. Very interesting.

  • graeme_i_wilson Graeme Wilson (@graeme_i_wilson) reported from Walker Gate, England

@bt_uk I moved house in the last year - previously I had sky DSL - copper only and enjoyed better service - this shouldn't be the case. I have another property with VM Docsis service - again a better service - but your core network was built on low cost - 21CN - poor product choices.

  • mulcs85 John Mulcahy (@mulcs85) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, England

@IamAustinHealey @Saracens @ChampionsCup @leinsterrugby @btsport Congrats Saracens - but some serious self evaluation needed by Leinster - not why we lost but reffing of offside and breakdown was a bad joke - really has to be addressed - laws already there - enforce them

  • graeme_i_wilson Graeme Wilson (@graeme_i_wilson) reported from Walker Gate, England

@bt_uk The light doesn't seem to change colour - yes the service is dropping out - I feel that there is either a degradation of pair quality or faulty termination equipment in the cabinet or exchange - there is definitely an issue.

  • John_P_Turner John Turner (@John_P_Turner) reported from South Shields, England

@bt_uk Queried business bills, however, billing team are unwilling to discuss/explain the issues raised. Service has now been suspended and billing team refusing to engage without payment being made. This is nothing short of blackmail! @MoneyTelegraph @TimesBusiness

  • Sturrock85 Andrew Sturrock (@Sturrock85) reported from Whitley Bay, England

I presume the awful @btsport stream on @YouTube is a ploy to get people to subscribe. It's awful, despite what is usually a good connection.

@bt_uk It seems @bt_uk do this every few months though - I don’t get this from my other email accounts I don’t use much - it feels bullying- perhaps to buy a more premium service?

  • misscthomson Caroline Jackson (@misscthomson) reported

@bt_uk Thanks for reply. I have managed to sort it now hopefully, has been going on from Jan, really horrific customer service, I have raised a complaint. Appreciate your tweet

  • aranmlewis Aran Lewis (@aranmlewis) reported

@bt_uk I have been assured by several of your colleagues over lengthy phone calls that the issue - a month-long delay in reconnecting fibre broadband cut off entirely due to your corporate negligence - cannot by fixed. I am told someone will phone tomorrow; following that I may DM you.

  • aranmlewis Aran Lewis (@aranmlewis) reported

@bt_uk Thanks. You missed my point, which was about BT’s current working methods, which are based on automation and non-communication, and hence very customer-hostile. One particularly stupid practise is sending out dozens of texts and emails to which the customer cannot reply.

  • AdamBarlow1664 Adam Barlow (@AdamBarlow1664) reported

Have to give credit where its due, receieved excellent service from @bt_uk where theyve sorted an issue with no fuss and actually did far more than i expected them to. Thank you!

  • GrumpyBolloxUK Grumpy Bollox (@GrumpyBolloxUK) reported

  • aranmlewis Aran Lewis (@aranmlewis) reported

@bt_uk A secondary issue is outsourcing of engineering work. BT engineers were excellent and had a direct incentive to help BT’s customers. Outsourced engineers vary more in quality and their main goal is obtaining maximum contracts and therefore £££ from BT, not helping BT’s customers.

  • aranmlewis Aran Lewis (@aranmlewis) reported

@bt_uk Of course privatisation was the start of the decline, but if it had been done completely, i.e. all BT’s monopolies fully opened to competitors, their preposterously bad service would have ensured bankruptcy years ago, and transfer of their assets to more competent management.
