Day 75 since I ordered broadband from @bt_uk and still no connection, no idea when there might be a connection, and another level of ‘escalation’ that doesn’t go anywhere from the BT support team who seem to think it’s ok to just ‘call back in 10 days with an update’. #BT

@btbusinesscare Hi, Would someone be able to help Me. My phone line has been down now since the 10th October 22. My supplier is plusnet, however they have said the problem is with Openreach. Ive had No updates whatsoever. My phone line is still down.

  • Nathanjones0001 Nathan Shelly-Bob (@Nathanjones0001) reported

@beth_kitson @bt_uk Probably down to openreach issues, if it is the only alternative line type is either Virgin or a 5g /4G mobile router option (if sufficient coverage in area).

BT Broadband @bt_uk I remain without internet since Saturday 15th. You now speculate that it maybe the 20th. You have given £10 compensation- got to be a joke given the great inconvenience and cost I’m experiencing. Unbelievable Please deal with my complaint meaningfully

  • andysc Andy Stanford-Clark (@andysc) reported

@whaleygeek @JamesBulpin @bt_uk Nice idea! I wonder how much of my “on prem” compute I’d need to move to the Cloud if I turned off the pipes at night, though… it’s just moving the problem, though I bet there’s a significant economy of scale “up there”

  • ClassAc43020999 Class Act (@ClassAc43020999) reported

@bt_uk hi BT, still no answer to my 2 previous tweets or to our ongoing 14 day phone issue, we won't go away! Please respond

  • whaleygeek David Whale (micro:bit wizard) (@whaleygeek) reported

@andysc @JamesBulpin @bt_uk I wonder how many of those watts are broadband vs switching vs wifi? My virgin router has the wifi turned off as it had a terrible reset bug and I use an external wifi router. It also has a 'modem only' mode to turn off the switch. How many watts does 'modem only' take, i wonder?
