Chris Tindall (@chewytheleftie) reported from Gateshead, England@bt_uk the worst service in the UK. I’m still getting bills for a service I stopped in January. Absolutely shambolic. I stopped being a customer 3 months ago yet here I am on hold to BT. What a joke.
-

-
Chris Tindall (@chewytheleftie) reported from Gateshead, England@btbusinesscare I moved house in December, you failed to move my Internet so spectacularly that mid January I cancelled the non existing internet. -
Steve Wallwork (@stevewallwork) reported from Annfield Plain, England@lynseyhipgrave1 @btsport @sjsidwell I think we know the answer to that one Lynsey. Our record is traditionally poor on Boxing Day anyway.
-
Teddy (@Martin756901511) reported from Newcastle upon Tyne, EnglandHi @bt_uk, I moved in my new house two weeks today and I still have no internet and your doing nothing to fix it. -
MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Crook, England@bt_uk False alarm, it was a nice neighbour dropping off a Christmas card - I saw an Openreach van down the road and assumed that you had actually done something!!
-
John Paul Green (@JPaulGreen) reported from Sunderland Bridge, EnglandStill paying for @bt_uk @BTCare and get getting less than full service and yet to be compensated for the hell that was BT between Aug and end of October. 2019 now and can't hear people speak on a landline @Ofcom
-
MrsP (@MrsP1001) reported from Chester-le-Street, England@bt_uk No broadband (now 15 days late), no reasons given why not, no sense of urgency to actually get it sorted. I'm running out of superlatives to describe your dreadful customer service and general incompetence.

Dr Peter ***** ⌬ (Ph or pH? 🤔) (@PHoare1963) reported from Sacriston, England@fozia4 @rkelwick @bt_uk Indeed. And when you complain you just get fobbed off? They need to change the law to require a business to honour any service or produce they supply. Especially builders and tradesmen? Seems to be impossible to get them to put right errors they have made?
-
Joseph Drane (@Hossy93) reported from Brandon, England@Gaz_House @btsport Or you could go down the night before. 😉
BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
bryony (@bryonycdc) reported@bt_uk you’re a ******* JOKE i cant take this anymore. i haven’t had solid service for over a month since joining BT, and today i can’t even talk to a real person cos you say someone will be in touch and hang up? i want to get out of this contract, get me off now
-
Andy Mich (@MrAndyMich) reported@bt_uk I’m absolutely disgusted, in this day & age of phone scams you have people phoning from unsolicited numbers about contract renewal (+44 1438 989233). All the person on the other end of the phone could say was “I promise I work on behalf of BT”. I said I can promise I’m the king of England. Do you see how stupid and dangerous this practice is? I think as a company you desperately need to review this, it’s dangerous and it’s making me think if you can be trusted at all. In this day and age it’s unforgivable to do this in this manner.
-
Darren Lloyd (@darrenglloyd) reported@bt_uk can you provide best contact to make a complaint please. I am not a customer, however I am concerned about a recent upselling tactic with my elderly vulnerable aunt when she phoned regarding a line issue.
-
Chris Wall 💙🧡 (@ChrisWall85) reported@bt_uk can't log in via the website or app. Sends a code to my email (fine) then to my mobile which it never accepts. The screen just never progresses? Known issue?
-
JoycieB (@blairjoyce3) reported@bt_uk 8 weeks ago you mis-sold my elderly parents a 900mb broadband package which we have been trying to cancel since, despite your "5 working days" claim. I won't go into additional details here, as it continues to get worse, but I am absolutely disgusted with your company
-
Larissa Collins🇱🇹🇮🇪🏴 (@CollinsLarissa) reported@bt_uk So you’re making an upgrade I never asked for and it’s still cost me over an hour on the phone because you can’t get your appointments in the right order. I don’t care about your rigid systems - I’m the customer. I care even less that ‘AI did it’ - you trained it.
-
Paul stagg (@Staggly) reported@bt_uk @arthur_mp after an hour on hold they said they had an issue and would fix in 72 hours - it’s been a week and now they aren’t answering
-
Simon Bowler (@simonjbowler) reported@bt_uk Perhaps you could read the message I sent ans acknowledge that your chat service and account access aren't working for one of your customers. To be honest, that would resonate better than inviting me to spend an hour on the phone for a 5 minute issue.
-
Simon (@thfcsimonm) reported@bt_uk I’ve tried that twice. It takes 20 minutes to get through and then I’m sat on the phone a further half hour while your operatives ‘ look into it ‘ and then promise the problem will be resolved. Each phone call is over an hour !!!
-
Darren Lewis (@Darren_Lewis1) reported@bt_uk typical BT broadband neglecting loyal customers - renewal prices for a customer of 6 years - charging WAY MORE than the market rate and WAY MORE than if I was a new BT customer. Shame on you, I thought those days of not caring about your long standing customers was over.
