I know they're a bunch of lying criminal scumbags and I just hang up, but vulnerable customers are genuinely scared and easily fooled.

The problem seems to be that we are waiting for someone to connect our landline but communication has been nonexistent and I’m not an engineer so don’t know precisely! We placed the order at end of July.

This cannot be right as she is vulnerable and the phone provides a lifeline to the outside world 😡

After 20 seconds it then reconnects but keeps happening again. Any thoughts if this could be a handset fault or line fault?
