BT keep texting me and asking me to return the equipment for my broadband. Then they send me a bag a week to return the equipment for my broadband. Problem I returned it on 2nd October 2022 and I have a post office receipt to confirm I returned it. @bt_uk

@zzxmp @bt_uk To subscribe to BT you can drunkenly press a couple of buttons on your remote control and the money is taken before you put it down. To cancel you have to go through the United Nations, learn two languages and spend at least 17 hours on hold.

@tony_cowin @bt_uk I don't, but that is really good to know and I hope someone else sees this & it helps them I had to sign on for 2 months between jobs & I'm wondering they never mentioned this when they knew I had no internet. But then they also wouldn't let me use their printer for a CV

@titantulus @bt_uk Not for long… it will all be VOIP quite soon. BT “Digital Voice”. Then, no land line during a power cut … they persuaded OfCom to remove that clause from the service charter thingy

Hey @bt_uk are you paying for the replacement of the wires you cut between my phone line based house alarm and the outside world? An alarm that was fully working now not unless we ‘upgrade’ to your fibre network.

@andysc @Workshopshed @bt_uk Absolutely Andy. I've only used a cheap power measurement socket and the value bobbles around a bit too 😬 What are your thoughts about switching off the router completely when not needed? I've heard that it can cause problems with the ISP's quality monitoring & line tweaking???
