@bt_uk I’ve twice been on with BT customer service trying to get order to reinstate a line sorted - helpful staff both times - but each time call cut off when on hold before order finalised - once after call of 50 mins 🤯 then have to start from scratch again with new staff 😩

  • PatsyT31 PatsyT (@PatsyT31) reported from Fenay Bridge, England

After yet another no-show by @WeAreOpenreach today, we rang @bt_uk CS team who said they would call back with an update. Almost 6 hours later, no call received. You call this "service"?

  • CouncillorGwen Councillor Gwen Lowe (@CouncillorGwen) reported from Dewsbury, England

PLEASE BE AWARE OF SCAM! Just answered a phone call from a nice man telling me that there are problems with my @bt_uk broadband speed? Kept him talking as long as I could without sharing any personal information. Obviously it’s a scam as I’m not with BT!

  • dcarroll100 Dean Carroll (@dcarroll100) reported from Leeds, England

@bt_uk terrible service - moved from @SkyUK to get improved connection and you have again failed to connect me to broadband! We need to work from home and are now being told you can only come out in January! @SkyUK will you have us back?!

  • OhJulie73 Julie Swift 🐶 (@OhJulie73) reported from Huddersfield, England

@bt_uk hi, I'm very disappointed that my broadband price has gone up to £31+ per month, I didn't sign up for that price, is there any way I can cancel my contract, as it's not feasible for me in the long run? Thanks.

  • JoMcArdle13 Jo McArdle (@JoMcArdle13) reported from Wakefield, England

  • prysds Richard Gear (@prysds) reported from Leeds, England

  • missamandacook Amanda cook (@missamandacook) reported from Barnsley, England

@bt_uk make it quite impossible to claim the reward card. None of the links work and as a new customer I have to say making contact with BT is also a huge battle. One new link after another Not really impressed already !

  • CraigLUFC77 Craig🥇🏆 (@CraigLUFC77) reported from Leeds, England

Does anyone else just shout "oh **** off" everytime the commentary team says we're sorry for any bad language you might have heard.. #SkySports #btsport #PremierLeague

  • Ken_DeMange Adam J (@Ken_DeMange) reported from Leeds, England

  • jamie__leonard Jamie Leonard (@jamie__leonard) reported from Holywell Green, England

Moved house back in May. Thought it would be easier to keep @bt_uk for phone & broadband. Not in the slightest...problems with continuity of service at the start. They've since moved me onto digital voice. Phoned 3 times to get complementary compatible phones...

  • markyp66 Mark Pritchard (@markyp66) reported from Gildersome, England

.@bt_uk you wait for an hour for someone to answer your call, then they say they can’t help and cut you off, need to get another provider who can do what they sell you

  • dickiewood The Custardonian (@dickiewood) reported from Bradford, England

@btsport Cancel Culture stinks. You can go bollox.

  • jimmywood3107 James319 (@jimmywood3107) reported from Dewsbury, England

@TrylineUK @SkySports Hopefully we f**K them off coverage and presenting of our game has been a disgrace for a few year now, but we probz don't help ourselfs. I'd see what @btsport were offering before making any decisions over sky contract. I have no faith in Robert Elstone getting the contract.

  • PatsyT31 PatsyT (@PatsyT31) reported from Fenay Bridge, England

@bt_uk Text msg received today??!: Hello, BT here. We're sorry, but we need to change the date that some of your services will start or stop. Your broadband start date is changing from 17-Nov-2020 to 30-Nov-2020. Your phone service start date is changing from 24-Dec-2020 to 30-Nov-2020.

  • richardmparr Richard Parr (@richardmparr) reported from Leeds, England

@bt_uk It’s a complicated order so needed Customer service to speak to sales (I think) hence on hold a number of times - had order fibre installation which engineer said was not really possible at the house, so want to revert to copper line already here - just need it switches back on!

  • alfiedoody7 T (@alfiedoody7) reported from Barwick in Elmet and Scholes, England

@bt_uk useless customer service, phone line dead 8 days ago, twice been promised an engineer would resolve it and twice it didn’t happen, online chat telling us the engineer is working on the fault at the exchange whilst I’m sat looking at the box void of said engineer!!!

  • mike_leckenby Lord Mike Of The Tsetse Flies💙💙 (@mike_leckenby) reported from Leeds, England

    @CockertonMark @bt_uk Crap… & rip off… full stop

  • JuckaBardo Julian Brown (@JuckaBardo) reported from Bingley, England

@NeillShenton @btsport A lot of the co-commenators seem to be either pretty bad or annoying don't they? I think it was a shame (for us) that Gavin Peacock, once of Newcastle & Chelsea fame, chose a career as a Christian Missionary over football punditry. We lost a good un there. That pesky God fella..

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • UnionSteve Steve Jary (@UnionSteve) reported

@tom_swing @bt_uk @virginmedia Council contractors did that to us while ‘repairing’ the pavement a few years ago. Credit to VM - they weren’t happy at all and sent someone to photograph the evidence and fix it within 24h.

  • tom_swing Alex J. Wood (@tom_swing) reported

@virginmedia I hope that @bt_uk are at least going to pay for the damage. @bt_uk do you even care that your engineers are going around cutting people's internet connection without permission?

  • basherdrummer Barry B. (@basherdrummer) reported

@bt_uk I received no call of course - a very poor show BT!

  • drummerboy64 Mike Rhodes 🎬🎥 🇬🇧 (@drummerboy64) reported

@bt_uk who do we speak to for a straight answer? Your call centre staff have mucked us about too many times. As a communication company you would expect you could communicate. Help !!

  • angell_jane Jane Angell (@angell_jane) reported

@Tonysmini @bt_uk Thank you Tony. It is BT that is the problem. Cutting off Mums phone. I am sure the Lifeline will be fine once they reconnect her.

  • OllieSoundy Ollie Soundy (@OllieSoundy) reported

Honestly, the BT sport tv app is terrible. I’m just trying to watch the Quins game and it keeps on dropping out. Very close to cancelling my subscription. @btsport @btsportrugby

  • mdshamilton Mark Hamilton (@mdshamilton) reported

@bt_uk This didn’t age well today did it? Maybe your senior management aren’t aware that the customer support team are told to close complaints once they’ve contacted the customer? Despite the problem not being resolved. Please look into this practice

  • deafielisa Lisa Baldock MBE (@deafielisa) reported

@bt_uk @oliverr1988 Been doing that too but it's slow it keeps crashing and I've given up. All week I've had to phone various people . Your service has just got worse!

  • Charlesknight Charles (@Charlesknight) reported

@bt_uk going in circles with a line fault that cannot be fixed at my house - it's an exchange problem where the exchange does not send enough voltage to make phone ring. Fault shown as fixed and you send engineer to my house which is pointless. Any idea what to do next?
