Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Downpatrick and nearby locations:

  • paddyr650 Paddy R (@paddyr650) reported from Portaferry, Northern Ireland

@bt_uk Absolutely awful service from BT. Forced my mother to change to a clearly inferior VOIP home phone which was again down today along with her broadband for over 3 hours today. This left an elderly pensioner with no phone or means of communication. Totally unacceptable.

  • Meelar69 Andrew Millar (@Meelar69) reported from Glastry, Northern Ireland

@bt_uk are there problems with BT email? I can't seem to get logged in.

  • robbielowey Robbie Lowey💙💛 (@robbielowey) reported from Ballynahinch, Northern Ireland

@btsportfootball @btsport @YouTube the streams are crap.... I have the bt sport app with my mobile contract and there all ******* shite

  • StokieNI Rick (@StokieNI) reported from Newcastle, Northern Ireland

Wtf is @bt_uk cold call knocking on my door to ask how my internet is instead of just texting me a feedback link? They literally text me today as well about my digital phone service being activated, was eating my bloody fish and chips as well. Bastards.

@bt_uk Maybe if @WeAreOpenreach were willing to actually hook up my building, meaning it's no longer the only one in the street without fibre, then I'd have the choice. It's infuriating being stuck with 13mb down and 0.75mb up for working from home, never mind gaming.

  • OneTakeJack JACK (@OneTakeJack) reported

@firefly233 @bt_uk Absolutely disgusting mate, I had one technician that told me it was the fish tank and the carpets were too thick. Had a new fish tank and carpets since then and it's still shite. They just make it up as they go along. Honestly a disgusting service.

  • MattyBx9427 MattyB (@MattyBx9427) reported

@OpenreachHelp @bt_uk To Fix you Mess You Made were trying To get an engineer out tommorow as promised it’s booked for Wednesday currently as Tommorow wasn’t available

  • baeonice LOZLO (@baeonice) reported

@bt_uk Hello. Internet still extremely slow but they are saying there is a fault on the line outside & that an engineer will check it this week. Thing is they came out in February too & said the copper line is very very long & impossible for him to find exactly where it could be.

  • sysollie_ Ollie (@sysollie_) reported

@bt_uk bit late, but it got resolved. noted this number down.

  • GovSmith Christopher Smith (@GovSmith) reported

@btsport can you please stop being you, sat down to watch the MLB game you have advertised and nothing... again... so you have any quality control??

  • firefly233 ashamed Brit (@firefly233) reported

@_Marc_74 @bt_uk Yup that speed will do everything currently. And it does them pretty good. Main issue is the huge increase in data. Easter weekend I have needed around 200Gb of data.....quicker delivery definitely would have been better.

  • Oxfordite Rupert wilson (@Oxfordite) reported

Text to landline messaging: @BT_UK have this service option. Has anyone successfully turned it off? #BT 0800 5875252 number does not present options to turn it off. BT don’t do public twitter (they dislike scrutiny of the answers from their support bots) #telecom #telephone

  • siwade82 Simon wade (@siwade82) reported

@bt_uk The number from today is fine.I raised this complaint about the handling of our service in mid March, so will be about all of the poor service across large aspects of your service. Are the TV team the right people to do this? I would expect some from Customer service to do this.

  • DassieGirl1 DassieGirl1 (@DassieGirl1) reported

@bt_uk @DrJohnCosgrove Exact same problem here too. Netflix, All4, ITVHub all work fine. iPlayer crashes BT minihub
