Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Crook and nearby locations:

  • Rutherford_Paul Paul Rutherford (@Rutherford_Paul) reported from Darlington, England

@bt_uk How will clearing the cache on the laptop help my iPhone though? BT appear to be blocking the access. To confirm this theory I am going to go to my friends house and connect to their Wi-Fi. If I can access eBay on there Wi-Fi it is definitely a BT issue.

  • mikecharlston Mike Charlston (@mikecharlston) reported from Witton-le-Wear, England

@bt_uk We currently have @skytv but after a week of little to no signal, the sky engineers have confirmed it’s an issue with trees out issue of our garden so sky looks like a no go! We currently have sky q in three rooms, do bt allows three boxes in the same house??

  • 1972wilksy Chris Wilks (@1972wilksy) reported from Chilton, England

@bt_uk @BTCare Hi. Got problem with my broadband which one of your advisers told me on the phone is getting fixed. But I'm not getting unlimited 4g that I should be getting on my halo account. Spoke to 2 advisors and still hasn't been sorted despite them both promising to

  • trevstanley Trevor Sharkey (@trevstanley) reported from Stanley, England

@bt_uk And I NEVER get 4g. Lucky to get 3g!

  • DanielJenks89 Daniel Jenks (@DanielJenks89) reported from Sunderland Bridge, England

@bt_uk I have had issues with my broadband dropping in and out of my devices since that major outage happened on Thursday. I don’t know if anyone else has had those continuous problems during that time?

  • paulmac708 Paul Mackie (@paulmac708) reported from Consett, England

@bt_uk Don't suppose you're having any issues in the Consett area are you? My internet connection just disappeared

  • PHoare1963 Dr Peter ***** ⌬ (Ph or pH? 🤔) (@PHoare1963) reported from Sacriston, England

@bt_uk My @btsport picture quality often way worse than this - pixelated and unwatchable with broken up sound. When are you sending me my £100? (and more importantly providing me with a more reliable service? 🤔).

  • stevewallwork Steve Wallwork (@stevewallwork) reported from Annfield Plain, England

@lynseyhipgrave1 @btsport @sjsidwell I think we know the answer to that one Lynsey. Our record is traditionally poor on Boxing Day anyway.

  • PHoare1963 Dr Peter ***** ⌬ (Ph or pH? 🤔) (@PHoare1963) reported from Sacriston, England

@rkelwick @fozia4 @bt_uk I’m waiting to receive my £100 as my BT Broadband regularly cuts me off Zoom calls and the picture quality from our BT TV is regularly terrible (but fine on the app on my iPad? 🤔)

  • 1972wilksy Chris Wilks (@1972wilksy) reported from Chilton, England

@bt_uk broadband down (again). Not getting unlimited 4g on my 2 Sims despite 2 advisors telling me I would when I rang up (twice) that is part of my halo plan. Not happy

  • X_CELsolutions X-CEL Solutions (@X_CELsolutions) reported from Darlington, England

Can you give me some technical advice please @bt_uk I'm wanting to connect a 2.4ghz wifi alarm security system to your Smart hub 2. Is it possible to separate your dual frequency to allow me to do this? #TechSupport #Advice #Help

  • cushdela CushdelaCush (@cushdela) reported from Darlington, England

Ahh Jenas shut ******** up... Was wondering how long it would take before the Bruce arse licking started! #NUFC #BTsport

  • PHoare1963 Dr Peter ***** ⌬ (Ph or pH? 🤔) (@PHoare1963) reported from Sacriston, England

@fozia4 @rkelwick @bt_uk Indeed. And when you complain you just get fobbed off? They need to change the law to require a business to honour any service or produce they supply. Especially builders and tradesmen? Seems to be impossible to get them to put right errors they have made?

  • CJXXXXW Chris (@CJXXXXW) reported from Darlington, England

@bt_uk Hi saying no known issues but for the last hour it’s been offline and back online must be 10/15 times at least

  • stu_blackburn Stuart Blackburn (@stu_blackburn) reported from Darlington, England

@bt_uk is there a problem with broadband in the DL3 area, I'm not connected to the Internet? Thank you.

  • trevstanley Trevor Sharkey (@trevstanley) reported from Stanley, England

@bt_uk Yes. The coverage here in Stanley is shocking. Time after time I have to connect to home or McDonald's or O2 hot spot to get Internet when out in Town. Even occasionally got no signal at all.

  • trevstanley Trevor Sharkey (@trevstanley) reported from Stanley, England

@bt_uk Do you think you could address the problem of your BTtv EPG in relation to entries by @DiscoveryUK. Entries misleading in time, length of prog, capital letters, no synopsis and unable to "record the series". Do you care?

  • timlibrarian Tim Fowler (@timlibrarian) reported from Bearpark, England

@bt_uk broadband outage in DH77DD affecting *both* BT and Sky customers. According to Sky (your website doesn’t acknowledge it) since 11:30 last night. What’s going on?

  • trevstanley Trevor Sharkey (@trevstanley) reported from Stanley, England

@bt_uk The Internet connection on your mobile network here in Stanley, Co. Durham is abysmal.

  • PHoare1963 Dr Peter Hoare ⌬ (Ph or pH? 🤔) (@PHoare1963) reported from Sacriston, England

@PaulCaden1 and the students home Wi-fi likely no better either! I’m having to drive into work any day I am delivering online outreach presentations to schools or at online conferences as our home Wi-fi is so poor.....😳 @bt_uk?

  • chxrlietambling Charlie (@chxrlietambling) reported

@bt_uk is there a broadband outage in new Milton (BH25) uk?

  • VillaFan001 Jack Harrison (@VillaFan001) reported

@bt_uk Thanks - it clearly is a known issue since I responded to a bunch of threads of people reporting the same problem and BT agents responding to it. There’s nothing diagnostics is going to pick up - it’s a network glitch, just checking if there was a solution yet. Appears not.

  • VillaFan001 Jack Harrison (@VillaFan001) reported

@bt_uk Thanks Nicola - but I didn’t need the standard info. The problem is that your mini hubs don’t work with BBC iPlayer (as per my original tweet), if you try and stream it then it causes the mini hub to crash. Is there a fix for this? Clearly it’s a known issue.

  • BigDoggeTom Big Dogge (@BigDoggeTom) reported

@bt_uk (2/2) Worst of all, I'm getting 52Mbps on Fibre 2, when I had over 65Mbps when it was installed 5 years ago. Why such a massive speed drop that you refuse to look into?

  • charliefyfield Charlie (@charliefyfield) reported

Cant wait until Friday, not because its my birthday or anything but because i’ll finally be leaving ****** @bt_uk that loses all tv signal when we have literally a drop of rain. Piss take

  • HJP_Armstrong Hannah Armstrong (@HJP_Armstrong) reported

@bt_uk Hi we're having problems getting our Hybrid Connect working (bought to tide us over until Smart Hub is activated next month) but haven't been able to get support by phone, text, BT Chat (was disconnected) or BT's troubleshooting Wizard. Please could you advise who can help

  • dodge4067 Roger Newman (@dodge4067) reported

@bt_uk @VillaFan001 You don't listen I'm afraid, iPlayer crashes the minihub every single time, whatever device you try to use it on. Surely it's not beyond your engineers to find a fix for this?

  • usb_potato USB Potato (@usb_potato) reported

  • 6677baggiesandy Andy (@6677baggiesandy) reported

@bt_uk completely disgusted in your new bt essentials service, so this is supposed to be for people on benefits (who will probably in the main fail a credit check) and then you're asking for deposits from said people, clearly bt essentials is just a virtue signalling sham
