  • FayeHollandUK Faye Holland (@FayeHollandUK) reported from Burwell, England

Sorting out my father in laws accounts. He has #dementia. @TalkmobileUK terrible and unresolved - had to resort to email and who knows how long that will take. @bt_uk absolutely brilliant and went the extra mile. I know who my business goes to in the future

  • dangmcguinness DANYE WEST (@dangmcguinness) reported from Mildenhall, England

I wish @btsport would stop moaning about the quality of football and just commentate on it. Let me make my own mind up on how good the game is rather that you telling me that it’s shit by 3 different commentators.. all I’ve heard since the 15th minute. #UCLFinal2019 #UCLfinal

  • MeiKHsu Guey-Mei Hsu (@MeiKHsu) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@bt_uk what’s going on with the internet service in Cambridge??

  • wheatley_martin Martin Wheatley (@wheatley_martin) reported from Swaffham Bulbeck, England

@bt_uk Yes, but the fix time (5 days) is very disappointing. Would expect new installation to work.

  • EJ_C_Allen EJ Allen cosplay- All about that hair! (@EJ_C_Allen) reported from Milton, England

@bt_uk how is it okay to leave us with unusable internet till the 24th of this month and still charge us for this time. We all work from home right now and 1mps speed just ain’t doing anything but yet your doing nothing to help us but still charging us. Great customer service!

  • jameswright2004 James Wright (@jameswright2004) reported from Witcham, England

@btsport should follow the lead of @SkySports and allow customers to pause/cancel their contracts until real sport is resumed. I’m happy to pay for what I signed up for. I did not sign up for constant replays on the 2012 Championship season and closed door WWE wrestling......

  • millerbowler Ian Miller (@millerbowler) reported from Fordham, England

@BTCare @bt_uk The more dealings I have with your customer service and website , the more confused and frustrated I get.

  • TheWobblyGamer The Wobbly Gamer 👁️🎮 (@TheWobblyGamer) reported from Mildenhall, England

@bt_uk Don't worry about it I've solved the problem myslef, and I've been told I can't change the account name even though I've paid for it for 6 years, I don't live with my sister who originally organised it and I always change my package without any issue but hey ho!!!

  • Miketango35 MarkL (@Miketango35) reported from Ely, England

@bt_uk hi. I changed my contract the other day (slightly cheaper tariff). I keep getting texts saying I’m a new customer and I can transfer my number across. Assume these texts are generic as am staying with BT. Only thing I’ve changed is cost of tariff

  • SamCarvalho Samuel Carvalho (@SamCarvalho) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@bt_uk Hello, I’m under you VIP team but I’ve lost the specific telephone number I need to call as your standard customer service isn’t allowed access to my account. Could you please DM the telephone number to me?

  • fredngingermad Katharine Rosenstiel (@fredngingermad) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

Wondering if BT would like to give me a refund, bought a pass for @btsport to watch The Ashes and despite a full strength Internet signal it's done nothing but on and off buffering all morning

  • wheatley_martin Martin Wheatley (@wheatley_martin) reported from Swaffham Bulbeck, England

Very slow handclap for @bt_uk. My *brand new* phone connection isn't working and won't be fixed until Tuesday next week.

  • eyefarrell Ian Farrell (@eyefarrell) reported from Milton, England

I’m beginning to think that going with BT for my business broadband was a very band idea. @btbusinesscare Speed awful. Admin and billing even worse. And a premium rate number for customer service - oh nice 😐

  • IanHCooper Ian Cooper (he/him) 🇺🇦🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ (@IanHCooper) reported from Ely, England

Urgh, looks like I’ll be stung by loyal customer penalty on charges when I move thanks to @BTCare. About £20/mo by the look of things

  • SamCarvalho Samuel Carvalho (@SamCarvalho) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@bt_uk Hello, I’m under your VIP team but I’ve lost the specific telephone number I need to call as your standard customer service isn’t allowed access to my account. Could you please DM the telephone number to me?

  • realfootiedad Paul Jeffrey (@realfootiedad) reported from Witcham, England

  • RaymondDocwra Raymond Docwra (@RaymondDocwra) reported from Fordham, England

Fair play to the @WeAreOpenreach engineers tonight. Internet went off in village #fordham about 3pm (I think thanks to some roadworks for new housing estate) . Way past midnight and the engineers still at it trying to fix. Great effort lads @bt_uk

  • redhatphoto Claire Jones (@redhatphoto) reported from Cottenham, England

@Arron1970 @sjhammerschmidt @btsport @SpursOfficial I never knew that Greavsie was in rehab about 200m where I lived in Brentwood- our house was on the site of the old Warley hospital

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Burnside_5 Burnside (@Burnside_5) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk Each time I renew my BT Broadband, the price goes up but the guaranteed minimum speed goes down, dropped by 30% in 4 years, whilst the price to me has increased by 15%, and that’s with negotiating a discount.

  • Simstersnose Simon the Smith 3.5% (@Simstersnose) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk The issue I have is that all overseas calls show on the caller display as “out of area”. Nothing they can do about it. So overseas fake calls can’t be distinguished from the good. Call protect blocks all international calls unless you put the ones you want on the allowed list.

  • DaveSThompson David Thompson (@DaveSThompson) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk Also, you can't use Digital Voice during a power cut either. "Use a mobile phone if that happens", they say... Fine unless you live in the wilds and have no signal.

  • Julford57 Julian Ford (@Julford57) reported

@PhilipRadbourne @paullewismoney @bt_uk Customer service standards can vary a lot. I must admit I do have some sympathy with the customer services staff over this as their hands are tied and they cannot offer what the customer wants.

  • AnneWareham Anne Wareham (@AnneWareham) reported

@mm0jxi @paullewismoney @bt_uk And no emergency calls for those of us with no mobile signal.

  • FionnMcArthur Fionn McArthur (@FionnMcArthur) reported

@paullewismoney @mm0jxi @bt_uk I took up the offer, now curse for them every time I pick up my phone, dial the number and get the ‘Local numbers are no longer supported on……’ message. Cancel, redialling with the additional 5 digits.

  • Dmartinog88 Dmartino88 (@Dmartinog88) reported

@bt_uk @Darrensailes I was not advised of this and I'm a new customer, 10% is a utterly disgrace

  • BowlesAnd George and Karen Bowles (@BowlesAnd) reported

@bt_uk Well, finally an operative who seems to care. I have been promised a call back from him personally on Monday, to hopefully put an end to this appalling lack of customer care. Let’s wait and see, I’m not holding my breath….

  • PaulGreenTPB Paul Green. (@PaulGreenTPB) reported

@bt_uk I did and it didn't work, looked at other deals, not particularly impressed. Shall wait to @WeAreOpenreach fix the repair, if they ever do but Alncon are now looking good for the future

  • taperoo2k taperoo2k (@taperoo2k) reported

@paullewismoney @bt_uk Given the copper network will be switched off at some point this decade, you'll either have to switch to digital voice or have no landline telephone.
