Almost daily now, I lose connection up to x7 times, buffering before reconnecting. On average, takes a few minutes to resettle. Not ideal and feel there’s been a change to what was a good service.

My grandad recently rang to renew her HBB and EE tv, on inspection of her contact and setting up her new unit your customer adviser has changed her to fibre broadband with no EE tv. Jules (@julesw1lko) reported@EE Yep - just spent an hour on the phone. No resolution other than to transition to digital voice which will take till the 8th!!! What’s worse - is your phone people were utterly unrepentant there was an error from EE’s side. I now need to teach a 90 year old to use a mobile for the first time!!

I live at the end of the line as far as services are concerned and have learned the hard way over the years. Can't rely on WiFi as there are often breaks in the electricity and poor or no signal.

Chris Rosser (@chris_rosser) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE All Internet in UK is moving away from copper to the premises - and all the replacements require power to function - if you get a UPS you can plug your router and other devices (such as a phone interface) into it to keep them running during a power outage.

Ed Peters (@mr_ed_peters) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE The old PSTN network is being phased out (copper wires, low voltage old school telephones) as I recall. The phones you're thinking of won't be around much longer. Unless someone tells me otherwise.
