You know what’s insane? The fact that my Pixel 5, that has been on contract for a year and a half with @EE, would still cost me over £500 to cancel early - I’ve got 7 months left. Pixel 5 cost £500 brand new even back then! That’s like a £2k contract for a £500 phone!!

@jenlion @EE I've had exactly this with insurance, mortgages, all sorts. They rely on customer inertia to retain them. When I move I always make their customer retention team (they'll definitely call you if you're leaving) know I'm moving specifically because of these tactics.

That's it... I'm done with @SMARTYMobileUK , they have amazing contracts, great deals and customer reps... But their signal and service is absolutely terrible. The @ThreeUK network is horrific. I rarely have service even in the middle of cities. Off back to @EE again.
